That army is brilliant. I'm very jealous of the Black Knights especially. I am still in the process of painting my first army and im focusing on neatness. I hope I'll be painting like that one day!

Incidently how long have you been painting for?

The giant rock on the Varghulf's base is a particularly nasty kidney stone that I passed. The creator of this army just borrowed it for his varghulf.
:| That was confusing... xD Do you have any more of them, I want to steal the idea. :D

Great work. Do you have anything else to paint? It would be great to see more of your figures, those ones look brilliant!

Oh, and I had something to ask: what is that giant rock on the Varghulf's base made of? Is it polystyre? Or a real rock? xD

As my sig states, I do commissions. So yeah, I'm working on a lot of stuff right now. Sorry all for not updating this thread, mainly because I've taken a step back from gaming and am concentrating on my work.

I will be posting a couple of my newer works on the Faces of Our Next Meal forums, because i just finished a couple more Mordheim warbands. Also, I've been planning to put up a site with my work and my contacts, so stay tuned for that too.

How long have I been painting? For somewhere around 6 years as i recall. :D

That rock is made out of modeling clay and then filed down and sculpted for the varghulf to stand on. I had to re-sculpt/convert him to stand there this way.

Wow I wish I had half the skill you do so I could copy those spirit hosts

You just need some clay, some basic sculpting skills (i'm talking torsos and clothes) and some bits for hands a faces. It's mostly creativity, in my humble oppinion.

The hardest bit is the wiring. You have to make a "skeleton" under your green stuff. That's something most miniaturists are not accustomed to and is considered "advanced". Otherwise, it's good clean fun. ;)

WOW!!
Those are some nice models.
The only thing I dislike about the entire army is the black coaches horses, the rest is just beautiful!

I'm a massive fan of blue when it comes to painting (my Eldar army will attest to that) and it's really nice to see a fatastic looking blue army!

Keep up the good work,

P.S. I hear mention of an EotG, any pictures up by chance?
gotta' love them Lizards:tongue:

wow how do you do those banners...I just started trying to "draw" and paint banners and mine...well suck compared to yours...just wow is all i have for this army.

Freehands just require practice. I guess I'm kind of lucky because I have a degree in graphic design, so the whole thing feels very natural with relatively little practice.

Here's a pro tip for you: draw your freehand banners with a pencil first. Yes, paint it ON THE BANNER ITSELF. The contours and the shapes you paint over w your brush should be much easier to handle. Plus, keep your background color simple. It will help you A LOT because all the corrections you do will be way way easier.

Hope this helps.
