I'm liking what I'm seeing. The wolves look great and the red eye look on the ghouls is very cool.
I would suggest adding more white highlights to the Spirit Horde on the Mortis Engine to give it a more ethereal look. The rider and the chariot portion look good.

Sweet army, and an ambitious goal to take it up to 3500pts. I wish you luck in your endeavours.

You are really good at painting faces, the ghouls look very spooky. Nice detail with the red lower lip.

If I were to criticise anything it would be the metal, it could do with a little more rust I think. Typhus Corrosion is a great start, and using some orange colours drybrushed on that makes it pop.

Thank you for the kind words people!

I usualy spend alot more time on my minis, but for this army im using a more simple aproach with drybrushes and washes, going for a table top standard.

Tried lightening up the spirits a bit, that was a good idea.

Aldo putting some rust patches on the metal bits :).

Taking your advice with me to the painting corner tomorrow!

Thanks again

Thanks alot guys! Apreciate it :D.

Yes they are spares from the Mortis Engine.

Made 3 Banshees today, also from the Mortis Engine, love that kit

Thank you @Adam_Barrow ! Its a very simple teqhnique imo, and probably not in anyway a new teqhnique to the most of you guys here at carpe noctem... but i did as follows: Black spray followed by a Heavy white overspray, this leaves the bottom half darker and the top half brighter, wash with nuln oil, leave to dry, wash with biel tan green, leave to dry then finish with a very light drybrush of ulthuan grey, mostly on the top half.

@Pirate Robot Ninja of Death cheers!

I basecoated everything with rakarth flesh (you can slabber rakarth flesh all over it, no need to be careful here), paint the fleshy muscle bits with Khorne red, i also painted in between all the ripped skin areas with Khorne red, hair with Eshin Grey, wash skin with reikland flesh shade, wash hair with nuln oil, then wash it all with agrax earthshade, this makes it darker and dirtier but also ties it all togheter.

Highlight the hair with dawnstone, bruise the skin with multiple layers of bloodletter glaze (do this on stretched areas and ripped skin edges. Then randomly apply athonian green shade and carroburg crimson on a few skin patches for a varies look.

Highligt the bone bits with rakarth flesh again. Think i did the paws with Eshin grey aswell.

Dont be discouraged during this process, it really looks like shit until you hit it with the finnishing touches ;).

Sorry im tired, but hopefully you can make sense of what i just wrote here haha.

Haha. Don't worry, I am well-versed in how crappy wash techniques look during the intermediate stages (I'm holding off on updating my own plog for exactly this reason).

Thanks for the tips! I'm going to try an adaptation on your technique on my own wolves, so I'll be sure to give credit where credit is due.
