Starting to think my fluff with be based on a group of Blood Dragons teamed up with a Necrarch so I will have split iconography for the Blood Dragons/Necrarch. Not sure what banner the wight is carrying yet, but I'll pick one out when I'm closer to having it all finished.

Heh, I like the other models on the Spirit Host bases, what did you do there?

It's a lovely army, I like the colours you've chosen, keep up the good work :)

Hey Nazgrr.

You have really good painting skills and the blue scheme is well executed and provides the different units with some coherence. When I saw the banners I was like "oh my god, that red stings in my eyes", but now that you finished them i have to admit that they look far better than I expected. Two little suggestion though for you: First, try a little more shading. It will give your freehand the much needed depth. Seeing as you are able to draw smooth and clear lines that should not be too much of a problem for you. Second, that ghoul has blue skin. why? I understand that ghouls are hard to fit into a colour scheme as they dont have any clothes for which reason ever the sculptor decided to do this, but it just looks a little too unnatural for my taste. Theyre at least fluff-wise meant to be alive, hence my concern. What you could try is to mix a bit of grey and blue into your normal skin colour to make them look human and still have that blue part on your mini. I have not tried this myself, but from my experience it should be possible to mix almost any colour into a skintone to achieve a different look in whichever direction.

Just my two cents ;) Keep up the good work and the zombies coming!

I really like the blue armour and the spirit hosts are looking really, really good! I'm also really looking forward to how the throng of zombies will look when they're all done! My only criticism (and I'm sure it's probably just a personal preference thing) is that the banners are a little too stark with the blue armour. I think the red could do with be a tad darker. I also agree with dogmar with regards to the shading on the banners, however, you may also want to highlight the raised areas on the black with a well blended grey to give it a little more depth. As for the ghouls, that's the beauty of fantasy, it's fantastical. I have some Blue ghouls and I really like them! They give them an almost ethereal/shadowy quality that mirrors their skulking personas!

All in all, really good job. It's gonna look a pretty slick army when it's all done. Keep it up!

@Dogmar I appreciate the kind comments! I also agree with you on the Ghouls, have them shelved for now not sure where I want to go with them, after seeing them all blue and ranked up they did not look that good at all. After doing some work on my other units I'll have to decide just what I want to do with them, luckily I have a lot more work.

@Untitled_Musketeer Yeah, admittedly excited to see the Zombies turn out, going to paint them a grey color, brown clothes(with the occasional blue article to tie into the army) and going to try dipping out. And don't forget an ethereal and blank white glowing eyes!

As for the banners, yeah they need a little more work, but I will admit I never thought I'd make them look anywhere near the quality that they are now so I'm rather excited!

Very happy with how this conversion turned out, however, not quite as happy with the paint. I think it needs some sort of variation of colors. Will be adding a red pennant style banner of some sort coming off of his back soon, I think that might do the trick...

Now working on Konrad, avoiding the Zombie Horde....have about 90+ to paint!

I have been offline for a while now. I just thought I would drop a few words here. :)

Your stuff are looking extremely good. The blue armour is awesome, as per usual and the banner for blood keep turned out very nice.

The wightking banner also turned out great. So keep going, you've got loads of zombies to paint. ;)
