Hey guys.

Just starting eternal service to the god of death.

Currently deciding between legion of night and kasterlai.

Other aos projects are fyreslayers, lumineth and khorne

Welcome @Gazmoz!

It's a good question which one to choose between, what's drawn you to those two and discounted the others?

In the meantime I hope you enjoy the forum, and feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Legion of night as I like mannfred

Kastelai as the idea of a army of blood knights getting buffed by killing things amuses me and the idea is terrifying one of my colleagues

Great to have you here mate!

The thing with choosing between the two is that you are then stuck with only one thing. Mannfred can make Blood Knight unit work better in the Legion of Night but also, they still lack the buffing of the Kastelai list.

Maybe a better question would be if you need to choose in the first instance. The difference between a potential Legion of Night and Kastelai list comes down as much to the question of if you are comfortable building and painting only knights when you have access to the full SBG range in my eyes.

Also, welcome

Very true. Grave guard with shields getting 3+ saves turn 1 in legion of night could be amusing.

Tbh, its mainly as idea for kasterlai is terrifying one of my colleagues
