Finally some more stuff done!

This Winged Vampire is also for the Golden Bat. I thought I wouldn´t have time to finish her, but here she is. The model is The Harpy´s Embrace from gamezone; they are my favourite alternative model suplier. I like their models even more than Avatars of War. Here go the pics:

Can´t believe it was more than 2 years since I last posted here!!! A lot happened since then... I got married, moved, began a doctorate... my agenda went full for a long time, and time to paint is coming again as I ajust it to my routine when possible. And I hope to get my VCs to soon assemble my army... I just have a bunch of marines and orks in the line, but I´ll do my best to get a unit or so from time to time.

Raising from the dead (as this topic erv, my Wight King. Actually, is an old one. I entered a Golden Bat with him last year and didn´t have the time to come back here and add his pics in this plog. Hope to have more soom to add here. First work focused more on NMM.

That is one of the most colorful and yet totally undead looking paint jobs I have ever seen. It's tough to balance the two. Read your whole thread just now, everything looks amazing. That corpse cart with the necromancer holding the floating skull is a real standout. Great job!

A plog brought back from the lost pages after 2 years - neat! I also went through your plog and I must say - lots of interesting work! I like the etheral theme and using gamezone dark elves for vampires. I also had an idea to use this harpy as a Strigoi Ghoul Queen ^^

As for the wight king - as benvoliothefirst said, the amount of colours and how well it looks is indeed interesting. I love the spirit things on his blade and cloak.

Absolutely love the Wight King. Hope to have a similar amount of such vibrant colours in my VC someday. Especially impressed with the cloak, both the inner and the outer side.

I wish I had opponents nearby to play Fantasy, they simply doesn´t exist in a 250 Km radius. That would make me more determined to finish this army. But I´ll finish it, even if I have to stop painting 40K. It´s a matter of honor, there´s benn 2 editions since I decided for a VC army.

The good thing with undeath is that were not in a hurry, we have patience!

While I don't begin to finish my VC army, I convinced a friend to start a Mordheim campaign to play from time to time. So, here's my VC warband. The vampire was already shown here, but I am posting her again for unit.

So, here goes the pics:

Necromancer, heavly converted. Bits from Empire Flagellants, Ghouls, Grave Guards, skeletons, high elves, and a tiny strip of plasticard for the quiver's handle.

The Dregs. Those were really fun to build. Keen eyes will notice they are mainly zombie bodies. The arms and weapons came from the Empire Knightly Orders, skeletons and zombies kits. Heads from flagellants and empire bits.

The armour is from the skeletons kit, fitted over a zombie torso. Plasticard to simulate leather strips holding it in the back

One Ghoul was recently promoted to Hero, so I assembled another one, with more gore and blood to show he deserved to new rank.

And the same friend got a brettonian army! I guess this was tha last excuse to begin buildin the army, before another edition comes by hahaha
