(NSFW) VAU IC: The Fangtastical and Arousing Tale of Anita Jacqueofff

[Mello]

"Yeah, interesting isn't it?" Mello murmured from the corner where he had been sitting silently, unseen and unheard. Perhaps mourning Konrad.

"To be honest what happened is pretty obvious. Both the vampires and the vampire hunter decided to kill Konrad. The hunter arrived first, killing Konrad with said stake. Vampires turned up to the party late, and were too fearful for their own lives to join in."

Sighing he fiddled with hair and snapped open the new bar of the day.

"I'm going to have to vote for you Sigmund. All of these days every human you've suggested has been, well human. You've yet to suggest a vampire. I specifically avoided suggesting names for that reason."

[Wolfen]

Caleb looked at Mihael, surprise evident on his face.

"Really? For Sigmund? At the risk of somehow making myself suspicious, I cannot see why. The man has defended you at almost every turn. He is convinced that you and I are human. Why would you condemn him now? He may have been the first to suggest Flynn, but I was already leaning in that direction. And you were the first to actually cast a vote aganst him. What does that say about you?"

He looked around, trying to remember who was still alive.

"I do not think Sigmund is a vampire. If he is then I guess I will eventually pay the price for such thoughts. What of the lady who was strangely absent for so long, Arabella? Why did you disappear?"

 

[Mello]

Mihael rubbed his temple. "I don't know why I have such a strong feeling about him... Some paranoia I guess."

 

[Wolfen]

"Interesting. My suspicions of him lean in completely the opposite direction."

 

[Get of W'soran]

To Caleb

Sigmund waved a hand at Caleb.

"Don't let the boy's accusations bother you Caleb." he said tiredly with a wan smile "He's an innocent child, he is simply a follower not a leader without the least bit of intelligence or ability to reason for himself nor has he had the courage to make a choice for himself before now."

The Knight sighed "I mean not to insult him, simply to point out that he's not suspicious just not very bright."

He shrugged slightly "And should I be killed...well far better men than me have been killed due to my own poor choices."

Sigmund frowned slightly in thought.
"I admit, I had my suspicions about the Lady Arabella but I voted with the two of you because it would have been cowardly not to after voicing my suspicions about poor Flynn. Besides you are the only two I trust."

"Also her lack of...presence in these meetings made me think of her as not a player but I suppose that was a terrible mistake on my part."

To Everyone

"I'm tired and don't have the energy for a great debate before making my choice. As it stands the only people I believe still attending these meetings are myself, you two and Arabella and she is the only one of that number who's humanity I am unsure off. So there's no point dragging this out, my position is obvious."

[Mello]

Mihael sighed and primed his pistol again, the sickening click was accompanied with the soft rustle of him standing up.

 

[Duke Danse Macabre]

*Openly Sobbing as they accused her of being a monster*

"You point your finger at me only because I tried to hide and I fear that is the only reason I yet live....
Now you try and condemn me to death, I am barely more than a child but you would pass suck judgement on no more than blind panic..... if that is to be your choice, don't be a coward and come for me yourself now and don't hide behind the skirts of others as a child or does this child have more heart than you?.... Ironic considering you hold Caleb a child but would kill another."

*Flushing an angry red*

"If I have to die here without seeing my family again it will crush me but the one solace I will have is not going alone....
I will vote for the first and what I hope is the only time, I choose Sigmund.
From what I hear you have sent many good people to their deaths and each time it has been unfounded, at least if we die together I know I take a monster with me, human or not you maybe but i will sell my life dearly."

[Mello]

Mihael raised an eyebrow in amusement, switching the pistol's aim from Arabella to Sigmund.

"Hoho ho! We have a draw.". His eyes narrowed with satisfaction

To Arabella

Sigmund's usual stoicism cracked as he sneered at the woman and leant forward on his seat.

"Monster am I?" he growled, the knight's patience clearly at an end "What have you done to help over the nights of madness? These hours of horror? Nothing!"

Sigmund tore his amulet from around his neck and held it before him "I am a servant of the Goddess, a warrior of Holy Myrmidia and I shall not be insulted by the likes of you."

"Even were you not an unholy abomination you are an enemy all the same for your inaction, your lack of assistance has done nothing to help! Leaving the hard decisions to the rest of us...monsters was it? For once I know that I am correct for I know Caleb and the boy not to be vampires, that leaves only you."

The knight slumped into his chair again, appearing spent as his rage died out, looking utterly exhausted once more.
"I feel no guilt for the mistakes I have made, thought I mourn their passing but I did only what I thought was right to try and save those I could. I have lived an honourable life and should I die here due to the mistakes of others...well it is no mistake that I have not made." he said softly with a shrug.

Sigmund smiled grimly "And when I die they" he stopped to gesture at Mihael and Caleb "shall see me for what I truly was and will band together to ensure your death follows swiftly."

Sigmund chuckled suddenly and shook his head "That is enough for me."

The knight clasped his hand's and resting them on his lap as he stared at the girl holding his cold smile.

 

[Duke Danse Macabre]

*The flush of rage still coloring her face*

"I am scarcely more than a child that was afraid for he life as seeing tore apart and killed which still haunts my dreams now, you are a trained knight sworn to defend those who can not but you did not even do that, you caused the deaths of good people and show not the slightest hint of regret so yes Sir Knight, you are a monster"

*Tears of fear and rage running down her cheeks*

"I did not kill innocent people, you did yet still preach from your high horse.
If anything you have caused as much damage as these monsters and have pointed fingers at anyone and everyone without any proof, tell me, where is this honour you speak of?....
Your a murder, a remorseless monster and a coward!"

*Pointing directly at the Knight*

"Now grow a spin, show us your fangs and do your dirty work yourself!
Perhaps we should make it interesting.... I have a clear conscience and I know Sigmar will protect my soul even when my body is rotted to nothing.
I wonder what the afterlife has in store for you?....
Maybe if you are so willing as you say to save these people."

*Gesturing to the others*

"You will be willing to sacrifice yourself?....
So how about it?..... We both die and we Let Morr Sort us out?
That is unless you think you have the stomach to kill a woman or has your manhood deserted you False Knight?"



*Smiling grimly, resolved to her fate she looked to the others*

"What say you?...
If I die and you see me for nothing more than a girl, would you avenge me and grant this girls last wish?..."

 

[Mello]

Mihael giggled.

"This is getting better by the minute. Go on Arabella." he snapped a square off with obvious interest.

 

[Duke Danse Macabre]

*Rolling her eyes*

"I don't suppose that offer of chocolate still stands does it?....
It seems I don't have to worry about my figure like my sisters anymore."

*Chuckling at her own jest*

"So what do you think Mihael?....
Will the big bad wolf the spine to fight a unarmed girl a fraction of his size?"

 

[Wolfen]

"Mihael, why do you think Sigmund is 100% convinced that you and I are not vampires? I wish you would reconsider. This is our last chance. If Sigmund dies and is proved human then this creature will kill one of us in the night, leaving the other one alone with her."

 

[Duke Danse Macabre]

*Sighing*

"Which is more of a reason to kill us both.
If I am killed and you then see I am nothing more than I said I am it will be your last chance to kill the creature, if you kill him and he turns out to be human you can kill me in the hopes of me being a monster, you will be disappointed but I will not deny you that hope even if i could.
If I was the creature i would not offer this but kill us both at the same time and at least you will both live.... as much as i don't want to die I don't think I can go on living after what I have seen here, I can't sleep, I can barely eat, nothing but horrible images comes to me in my every waking moment and the screams when i close my eyes, those imagined screams are the worst.....

Perhaps its better if we both go...."

 

[Wolfen]

"Except if you are a vampire conventional means of killing will not do anything to stop you so you would actually be in no danger."

 

[Get of W'soran]

Sigmund stood smoothly and in one motion unsheathed his longsword, the blade of the weapon was unadorned and function in contrast to it's ornamental fittings.

The knightly silently crossed the room to point the blade at Arabella.

"Is this what you wish beast? Do you want me to stab at you? Slash at you? Then what? Once you appear dead and mortal I shall resign myself to death so that you may rise up and finish these two off?".

Sigmund laughed harshly as he lowered the sword.
"I think not. Even this blessed blade I would not trust to finish one of your kind too easily." he stated.

Sheathing his sword Sigmund smiled "Your kind always manipulates, using emotions you are no longer capable of to trick mortals. That will not work here."

The knight shot an annoyed glance at Mihael "And if someone used their brain they would come to the same conclusion."

Turning the knight returned to his seat "I shall not violate the rules put down by our hostess. We shall vote and when the night comes she shall say who is to die."

 

[Mello]

Mihael's eyes narrowed.

"Yes Sigmund, vampires manipulate. That's exactly why I suspect you. By saying Caleb and I are human you immediately cover your tracks up. It seems too good to be true for me. I could be wrong as I have been in the past, I merely want to ease my conscience."

he frowned and thought. "Unless you're the Witch Hunter..."

*Shaking her head*

"Then you have doomed yourselves and you have my congratulations, if i was a beast and that was the case I would attack you now without worry of defeat....
Yet you are too cowardly to face my yourself or to pledge your life if I die..... you are weak and a fool but I am unsure which more."

*Looking to Mihael*

"Shoot me now.... In the head and make it quick and then use your vote to put down the monster whilst there is still two of you alive"

*Smiling that grim smile once again*

 

[Mello]

Mihael shrugged.

"If I shot you and voted for Sigmund then I would still be in a minority.. but I've changed my mind, even though it's very unlikely, I'm going to vote for Sigmund as a vampire."

"That may be true but my vote would still stand, dead or not.
I prefer to at least take one monster with me at the end, Thank you Mihael."

*Slowly sitting down, a little shaky on her feet setting in to wait for the end.*

 

[Get of W'soran]

Sigmund simply shook his head slightly as Mihael recast his vote.

"Murder me if you will." he said softly "It is not the lives of myself or any man in this household that worries me. Should we mortals die first then the vampire will escape."

The knight looked up at the others, an expression of sadness etched in his face "Then how many will fall by it's immortal hand across the span of it's filthy existence to satisfy it's thirst...to satisfy it's whims? Dozens? Hundreds? Thousands?" the knight looked away again and once more shook his head "That has always been the only fate I have attempted to avoid. To see them dead, to potentially save a great deal of lives."

"The end draws close now...and it appears that I may fail."

 

[Disciple of Nagash]

Anita's eye twitched as she giggled at the below scene, finger going from Arabella to Sigmund as she worked out who would die......


1-3: Sigmund
4-6: Arabella

Ghostly shadows materialised next to Sigmund, grabbing and holding his arms as others drove black shards into this body. Time and time again they struck, drawing forth bloody gouts. Bloody spilled from his mouth as his garments fell shredded to his feet. As they fell items tumbled from the pocket, a stake, a mirror, various other items.....all the mark of the Witch Hunter.

Another human had been killed.....

"No more! No more!" Anita cried, "if you kill one more human, you all will perish!!"


[mod]Sigmund / GoW has been killed and revealed as the Witch Hunter. The end draws rapidly near as Anita looses her mind. Come the end of the next day, should the person selected be a human, the game will be over......

Read back through the vampire killings, all the clues you need are there! Perhaps someone has been made subservient too many times.....[/mod]

Caleb glared harshly at Mihael then strode from the room.
