I have an overrun question:

In the picture, the Savage Orcs and black Orcs charged a Stagedon (The Stagedon was facing the Savage orcs). They killed the Stagedon in CC and then the question is: What happens when they want to overrun?

Can the Savage Orcs Overrun or are they stuck because of the Black Orcs?

The Black Orcs rolled high enough to make contact with the Saurus so according to the rules, they are treated as having declared a charge against the Saurus.

So how do they attack? Would it be from the front or the flank? We decided form the Front but that means they can only complete the charge if they touch the saurus corner to corner because the Savage Orcs block the Black Orcs from maximizing more.

What do you guys think?

You are correct the savage orcs would have to stop 1" from the black orcs so as they are already within 1" they wouldn't move.

As for the black orcs overrun it is difficult to tell if they are in the front arc or the flank, they look pretty much 50:50 from the angle of the pic. Measure 45 degrees from the front right corner of the saurus, if an equal amount of the black orcs front rank is in both the front arc and flank then you roll to see which facing the charge will be completed against.
If more are in the front or you roll to the front then you are correct they would just clip the front and close the gap to maximize the best they can

Based on a similar example in the rulebook that uses obstacles instead of other units, the black orcs would charge until they reached the saurus corner, then the saurus would close the gap and move to the side to maximise contact with the black orcs if its in the front, if it was in the flank there would be no way to close the gap properly though so they wouldn't be able to complete the charge. Or at least based on what I've seen that would be the case.

Looking where the savage orcs are the saurus wouldnt be able to close the gap at the front as they already look to be about 1" from the savage orcs so couldnt move any closer but I think there may be room for the black orc to close the gap in the front of the saurus and get one or 2 models into combat and I think the same goes if they charged the flank due to the bastiadon
