painting gems.

Okay well I know that some of the vc models have a gems here and there on them and here is how I paint my red gems.

(40k models are used as examples because tahts the comission i am working on and this was requested on another forum and i figured it could help someone here.)

all the colors are mixed in a 2:1 water to paint

base of the gem is chaos black
1st layer is mechrite red
2nd layer is blazing orange
3rd layer is firy orange
dot is skull white
