Who here does painting groups? I used to paint alone most of the time, but I've found painting with someone makes it more productive and enjoyable.

Also having a regular opponent(s)helps get you motivated too.

Back in the day, painting/gaming groups were great. That was the best way to get things done when I was younger.

However, as an older gamer, I much prefer the peace and quiet that I can get if I disappear for a couple of hours to paint something without having outside distractions.
 
When I paint with my mates they are quite easily distracted and after maybe one hour already want to do something different.
So for me it's more productive to paint alone. But it's more enjoyable to paint with a friend.
 
I hate painting with other people. I am obsessive about my paints and brushes so I get really twitchy when my friends leave them open or go from colour to colour without cleaning brushes.
