Hi!

Some days ago I'd made this conversion for a friend.

I used the Chaos Spawn plastic kit, 'cause the size and position of the body it's perfect for a Varghulf.

I also used the head of the "battle for skull pass" troll, and a lot of green putty.

And here are the results, hope you like it!

Bye!!

Wow, that's really cool. Your friend should be very happy to get that one, it looks great. Thanks for the inspiration! :)

That is pretty damn impressive!! Quite similar to the GW model mind you, but the conversion work is excellent. The only thing I don't like are the front two fangs, but then I don't like them on the GW model xd

I hope you post a painted pic.

Why isn't he running?

I love the sculping effect that you have used with the wings, they look torn and ragged. We shall definitely need to see the completed model - fully painted ect. It will be brilliant!

Very nice take on the model. The main difference is it's pose I guess and the model itself (but it does look similar).

The only minor point I noticed (thanks to DoN), are the teeth. Perhaps putting them on the edge of his mouth gives an idea of a varghulf.

Wow. Nice job on the fur and on the wings (I know wings are really anoying to make and a killer to make them look good :o )

That's pretty sick. Nice work, man. The pose trumps the official Varghulf by a longshot, imo... GW's version looks like he's just been woken up grumpy from a short nap on the battlefield and is taking a lazy, deadly swipe at the interloper.

Nice!
If theres one thing I hate, is having two models with the same pose/look. You have come up with an effective way to field more than one Varghulf without them being clones, while looking similar enough to fit in.
