Greetings! This is my first thread though I've been lurking for a while, checking things out and looking at advice and comments. I've also done a lot of youtube searching for battle reports. I admitt my list isn't super competative but our group is more or less for fun and not ultra hardcore. All the same some feedback on what's good and what's bad would be appreciated!

My idea is to put the Bus with General in the middle with both infantry units flanking. The foot Necromancer will be in the Skeleton bunker and the corpse cart will be behind everyone to give boosts. The Terrorgeist will be on the flank bust hopefully still within leadership of my General. All my infantry will deploy in five wide formation.

All my casters have Lore of Vampire for saturation and in case my Lord dies I won't suffer more than one round of falling apart.

Welcome to the forum!

Does the Corpse Cart have any upgrades? That would increase the boost even more. Re-rolling Invocation Wounds? Yes please!

I'd spit the Spirit Hosts into two units, because they're roll is Ethereal tarpits. While two will double damage output, that's not their roll. They're meant to walk up to monsters and elite, mundane units and stop them going anywhere. Two units also means locking down two units.

Others may disagree, but drop the Screaming Banner. You really need to combine at least two items for scare tactics (literally!) to work (two beyond built-in Fear). With only a roll extra D6 subtract lowest ability it won't really help. Replace it with the points' worth of models.

@JohnMaverick

Did you ever play this 2k list? I am just getting into WHF and the VC and my group is playing at 2k. I like how diverse your list is, as how an army looks on the table is a very important factor to me, and you seem to have included most of the units I want to field.

Most lists I see don't seem to have both zombie and skeleton units, and instead tend to push larger 40+ crypt ghoul blocks ten wide and four deep, and then either Zombies for tar pitting or skeletons, but not both. Did you miss them when playing as damage dealing core?

I also really like the look of the corpse cart and would like to include one since I intend on at least painting one up. Did it work as intended? I sadly seem to see more derision towards than praise.
