Barely ten minutes ago I finished one of the biggest practical jokes I will ever pull off. Me and a number of my class mates were in class and they were all in one corner, me on the side next to the tutors desk, and the tutor was off sick so we were catching up on work. The tutor and I, and one of the other classmates were all on Steam and so the tutor and I were talking, and the other classmate and the tutor were talking. I told the tutor that one of the classmates was on the Ikea website, and over Steam my tutor told the other classmate to get him off of it. Instantly the whole corner started getting paranoid and trying to work out how he knew, going from one crazy theory to the next; hacking the college system, using tutor powers from home, camera in the fire alarm/projector/burglar alarm, and I was telling the tutor about this all the time so the tutor seemed to know what was going on in the class room, including when one of us danced in the corner to rave music.
In hilarity, this continued for well over an hour with the rest of the class getting more and more paranoid until finally me and the tutor told them what happened.

I didn't get lynched because they wanted hi-tech stuff rather than a snitch.

Still, I had the biggest prank of my life and it was great. I was trying to contain my laughter it was so great. That said, it was also the only prank I've ever pulled and I doubt I could do another one in this class.

Any great pranks you guys have pulled?

Hmm not really, just childish things when we were younger. The best one we did (we were only 12 at the time), was to start sneakily giving this one girl love notes, so she thought she had a secret admirer.
She wasn't bothered at first, until one turned up in her locker, and the teacher even handed her one without knowing what it was. By this time she was starting to get paranoid, wondering how these notes were managing to find their way into such places.

Unfortunately we were eventually busted when one of my friends who was sat behind her, tried crawling under his desk, under her chair, and put the note in her bag by her legs. It was very funny when she looked down to see this boy lying under her chair though xd

Well, this one is also from when I was younger, when I was in a fotball(that's soccer to all you american folks)team we used to go on tournaments over the weekends. And on one such tournament we had to sleep in a school. And in the classroom there were benches with the stundents names and pictures on. So we wrote a bunch of love notes, picking names from atop the desks and putting them in the other desks. We had a blast, even put a lovenote from some poor kiddo in the teachers desk. :D but not too many to make it obvious. But still. xD

I would have loved to see the faces of those kids the next day in school!

I don't suppose there was much practicality to this, but I had fun messing with my missus' noggin over Lord of the Rings.

Q: Is Gandalf really dead?
A: Yep!

Q: What's going to happen next?
A: Gollum is going to make Frodo stew.

That second one lasted me until the fateful scene in Return of the King.

Actually, I do similar things to almost everyone I know. Keeps them on their toes.

When you mentioned steam, I thought that you were on some kind of narcotic. I had to Google it...
