Question about Vlad, Mortarch of Shadow (game tomm 2/22)

So I am playing a game tomm and I just wanted to be clear about something. With end times khaine being released it states all wizards know every spell from their lores. Vlad knows shadow, death, vamps, undeath. In his rules it states generate from any of these lores (this is before khaine magic came out) So does he generate his spells one from each lore...or does he know all the spells from each of those lores and can pick and choose?

The way I interpret it, you know all the spells from the lores you choose from.
Vlad has 3 choices, from being a level 3, so if you choose one from vamps, death and undeath, he'll know all the spells from those 3 lores.

Correct. He'll have 3 complete Lores.

Thats the answer I was hoping for. If it wasn't the case Vlad simply wouldn't be the worth the points. When you consider you can get a full on blender lord, whose lvl 4 with magic gear that you want....for the same points

IIRC, if Vlad has the loremaster attribute, he gets to re-roll failed castings under Khainite magic.

Sadly he doesn't have the attribute, just the Loremaster granted by khaine magic.

I use army builder and they have Vlad able to be upgraded to a lvl 4? This isn't in the book anywhere? Typo? Or is there a faq that states this is possible somewhere?

No he is definitively a level 3. No possible 4 upgrade.
