I might have a bit of an odd question. here it goes.
Soon i will be playing against my friend again, he will be fielding either beastmen or dark elves, either way, hatred all over the place. Now he is growing tired of me playing undeads (half his own fault since he gave me a box of tomb king chariots for my Bday some yeears back) anyhow. i want to play a living army to surprise him. I have the armybooks for the following armys;
Dark elves
beastmen
wood elves
brettonnia
dwarves
warriors of chaos
Obviously i dont want to do a mirror match or play the army he normally plays so BM and DE are a no go.
I have something i want to achieve in my list, here are my points;
- a FUN list which is slightly compatible (not wanting 3 deathstars steamroll list or something)
- a list that is panic-able (so no 'all immune to psy' kind of stuff
- a list which is pretty much the opposite of TK or VC (thinking weak magic, at least some shooting and unit that can actually flee for a purpose)
thats a lot to take i guess for as far as preferences go.
When i look at it, i would probably go with either dwarfs or brettonnia (being 'good guys', human and panic-able)
Dwarfs;
the list i always wanted to try was slayer heavy. backed up by some scouting party. not too heavy on the artilery
Brettonnia; 'my brothers army'
pegasus knights are awesome and can be really annoying. the knight busses however scare me to make a list of steamrolling deathstars...
so strangely enough i guess, dwarfs it is!
We probably are going to get 2.5K battle, this is what i came up with;
