Perhaps it would be more prudent to have the Black Pyramid as something similar to the Effigy or Gork in terms of ingame power. This would lead to it being a bit more powerful in terms of what it can do and would move it away from the Casket of Souls.
The Black Pyramid of Nagash was the symbol of all that was great and decrepit about the Great Necromancer. It is said that the Pyramid itself still houses his malice and this can be felt with the pieces of it which have been seen in the old world. These pieces are believed to be gifts to the greatest members of the cult of Nagash and are rarely, if ever, seen on the battlefield. When they are they appear as a tribute to the Great Necromancer often being used to power a much more elaborate shrine. The armies of Nagash use these shrines to pray to their Dread Master before a battle, often touching it with their standards for luck.
Points Cost: 215 (effigy + Casket)
Must be purchased as an upgrade to an Acolyte or Master Necromancer. It takes up a rare slot as well as the hero's normal slot.
Immoveable - The Shrine of the Black Pyramid is a huge unwieldy platform and cannot be moved during the battle. As well as that it is guarded by 4 Nagashi Guard (grave guard with great weapons).
The Great Awakening... - During the battle, each non magical banner counts as containing a bound spell. Each magic phase, the unit can unleash the bound level 4 spell contained within the banner and raise 1D6 new models (skellies or zombies) to life. If a 1 is rolled, the banner immediately runs out of power.
The Icon of our Dread Lord - The Pyramid counts as a Battle Standard for everyone within 18".
