I really don't have time to RP much over the next few weeks so if there's something wrong with my post let me know and I'll try and hop on to fix it.
Also I really couldn't think of much we could do in a dark room thus the flare.

The flare is what I was hoping somebody would do. 
However, as I tried to make clear in the little OOC bit in the update (whilst hot-footing around the actual idea of the flare itself... didn't want to give it away), the flare will light *after* all of you have posted and just before the update. This may mean slightly shorter posts and a sooner update, but that's fine considering the circumstances.
So post all your reactions etc. up to that point, and your actions within the Chamber just *before* Varspex lights the flare (should he choose to obey orders...!). The update will deal with your decision... (dun dun duuuh)

You can post whenever Lucifer, just so long as nobody reacts to the flare and you light the flare last in your post. Otherwise you'll be waiting.

Ha ha, court-martialled and all...
Damn, we never even reached the place, and I had so much planned before we even got there. Maybe after exams I can activate the defibrillator and see who will return and fill the spaces left otherwise.
