Yes. That would be the case. If someone conga lines you punch him in the face with your car. I had it happen to me on Saturday. It's a douchebag move but it works.

Conga lines are an abomination. Don't use them, don't be that guy.

Nevertheless conga lines is a real thing in 8th edition, and though they are frowned upon, some will use them, especially if they constantly get whopped by blender lords.

If you run a blender lord in any kind of expensive unit, you should not be fighting small conga line distractions in the first place. Your other units should ensure that your main unit can reach its main objectives quickly. Often you want to reach some other important enemy unit to destroy.

Now few people base their army around heavy congalines and simply find it satisfying to be able to tie up an entire army with little to no risk. Here i would say: Take up the challenge if you know you are going against that kind of guy. And then punish him.

Wind of Death is a must, make sure to get it. One of these can abosulyly devestate a heavy conga line army.

Also consider a vampire with lore of shadow, aim to get pendulum spell. Smoke and Mirror to get in front of the line, and then pendulum the whole thing. Also make him equpped to take out that front champion quickly.

Raise the dead in front of his smaller congalines. It will delay him more than usual as his units already are a poor fomation to deal with such a unit.

Conga lines are food food monsters, chariots and some flyers. Take advantage of that.

Punish him!

Sorry to raise this one from the dead, but I have a similar question that I would like answered:

If I am challenged by an enemy character on a chariot, and if I direct all my attacks at the character and inflict five wounds on him, can I then generate a further five attacks from Red Fury, and direct those attacks at the Chariot, which is also part of the challenge?

And if I did, how many wounds can I inflict on the chariot? Just it's starting number, or since it is part of the challenge can I also score overkill on the chariot?

And how would I calculate the total CR? Two from the characters profile, a further three overkill, then four from the chariot?

This is how we play it, attacks that you generate from red fury, you can direct at chariot, because the new attacks are resolved at the same initiative as the first set of attacks, thus killing the character and his mount, what kind of death lords are we, if cant kill everything that stands before us (:...

And then when you calculate the combat result, you can add wounds, and max +6 for the overkill from the challenge whit everything else that you score...
