Returning WHFB player

Last time I played they were just called the undead. I'm back to play fantasy, and the VC seemed a good fit: I enjoyed the undead before and luckely still have alot of the miniatures. Was curious if I could/should post what I have available to see if the pros here could help me craft a good list, and if so where to post it?

Here is what I have from before and some recent aquisitions:

well before doing my research I bought one of the new Corpse carts. (it looked cool, but from what I've seen here its "meh").
I have a terrorgheist coming in the mail.
Heinrich Kimmler
Krell
I have multiple vampires on foot and a single mounted one.
I have the old metal zombie dragon with mounted vampire.
Multiple necromancers
Wraith/spectre looking models (x5)
60 zombies
60 skeletons
60 ghouls
20 Graveguard (sword and board)
10 Dire wolves
2 bat swarms
10 black knights
3 fell bats
6 hex wraiths
1 spirit host
3 vargheists
5+ Blood Knights

Any input is greatlyappreciated!

Alight not a bad bunch of toys! My first suggestion would be to decide whether you want Grave Guard as your mainstay or Black Knights. Either way you will need more of either and the one you don't decide on will probably not get used. I personally like the Grave Guard but yours are hand weapon/sheild and they should be greatweapons and you would have to spend $100 to get them where they need to be. Where as your black knights hopefully have lances (Which they need) and you will only have to spend $33 to get them where they need to be at.

I would get/make another 2 spirit host bases. 3 is really good to have on your side.

No matter what you can't have enough zombies! I would say 60 is a good start but depending on how you want to run your list then you may need anywhere from 40 - 1,000,000,000 more.

Edit: Oh and the TG is bomb, I don't leave home without 2 on my side.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, from what I've seen here GG w/ GW are the way to go. What I have now are revenants from mantic but sadly they come with sword and shield only. I just purchased the TG based on how much love I see it gets from people here. :lol:
I made the spirit host with Reaper bones so I can make more on the cheap and I can buy mantic zombies (look great and cheap) Any suggestions on how/where to get GG w/ GW without going broke?

That is a good question! I got mine in a bundle so I didn't need to worry about it much. Are the mantic ones plastic? Would the be easy to convert? Would you be willing to convert 40 of them if it will save you money?

I just ordered a couple boxes of GG, the mantic revenants are plastic so may be able to convert them to GW.

That'll do! You really do not ever need more than 40 in a list, like ever!

Got my First game (finaly) VS empire. We played 2500. Was fun. He won but it was close. TG ate a cannonball round one. Demigryphs! Ugh!
I was playing a list I found here (with a few modifications).

Yeah TG's sure do love them cannon balls! They eat 'em right up! Luckily the only time I had to fight Demigryphs I charged them with my Hexies and just sat their all day.

I held them up for a few rounds with a spirit host.

Yeah Hosts will do it to! I mean you'll be losing 1 wound a turn but that means 4 rounds that they're stuck (unless the charged, then it's only 3).
