Crypt Ghoul heads? Wow, I never would've thought of that! Awesome idea, and great looking bats. Mr. Saturday is totally right about the wing membranes, the color is really well done, and it's a really nice contrast for the darker bat-bodies.

Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone! Regarding the bases, they are very plain looking I admit and I would have liked to have done more with them in terms of dynamic scenery; but due to a time crunch(tournie on the 22nd) I just kept it simple with the sand/flocking. Here's the list of components if anyone else wants to have a go at them - they are pretty easy to do:

Next up 50 Skellie w/ Spears, vampire on foot and that Black Coach conversion - this will finish up my list for the tounie next week. Down to the wire:slapface:

so far I've played two games against DE's in preparation with this army(1st two games in 8th ed. to boot) and came out with a win and a draw. During the second match though I was teaching a new player the game with my army and letting him make most of the decisions - so technically that match/draw doesn't count

My apologies to all for the silence on the forum and this painting log for the past few months. Many circumstances(mostly all good) have kept me from updating this with pics and/or working on the rest of my army. Things should be slowing down a bit here in the next month or so for me to get back to painting - I still have quite a horde of models waiting on deck to be brought to unlife.
