Does anyone know to create the above "Rust&Grim&Filth" because I am really unsure to how to go about it on my miniatures and would like the make my empire convereted black knights appear more convincing....cheers in advance

1. Rust - I use on light armour:

Chainmail with a 50/50 water/chestnut ink wash.

Although another option is:

Chaos Black, Tin Bitz drybrush, Chainmail drybrush.

2. Grim and filth (that sounds like a punk band! ;) ) - I use this on heavy armour:

Chainmail followed by black ink wash followed by brown ink wash. Be fairly heavy handed with the ink. Don't worry, once it dries it'll look great.

Obviously try it out on a test model first to see which works best for you.

I have found the Ogre Kingdoms recipe for rust very good.

Start with a dark flesh base coat, stipple with vermin brown, then stipple with blazing orange. This will give you a solid rust colour. Then add patches of boltgun metal for where you want the metal showing through the rust.
