I'm a little confused after reading the latest FAQ.

When the TG Screams can the target unit claim the buff from Inspiring Presence or can the target unit only count the highest leadership in the unit?

Well the latest FAQ just messes up unmodified Ld, the TG scream just uses regular Ld which in this instance includes what ever is the highest in the unit or IP.

What the newest FAQ does is taking unmodified Ld and throw it in the bin, as there is no difference anymore. You can basically use what ever Ld is highest no matter what it says... A rather stupid decision IMO but oh well..

Hope this helped.! :)

And as a reminder, Skaven Strength in Numbers will still not apply to screams. SiN is used only with Leadership Tests, which Ghostly Howl/Death Shriek aren't.

IP already annihilates the use of screams all too often, numerous are the battles where my Tbat had to scream on 10+ and thus effectively negating the impact of the scream, causing only minimal casualties or none at all... wasting 200+ points of rare choice, not to speak of the massive amount of shooting a Tbat has to endure before he can actually scream, often further decreasing its screamstrength...

Imo, the IP should never count for the screams/howls, only highest ld in the unit.

Assuming an average IP of 9 across most armies, that means a Terrorgheist scream does 4 wounds on a roll of 7. You should be doing plenty of wounds to high priority targets, even with IP.
