Secret fears and superstitions

First and foremost...an early death...dying before I can grow old and live my life to its fullest. I'm sure everyone wants to die old, yet there are stories EVERY day of those who die early, and many of them unexpected and "not meant to be".
Getting hit by a car...be an unintended target in a shootout...
Then theres cancer,a long term coma, alzheimer's, paralyzation.

What else...hm...thousands of people freaking out during the countdown to 2012...riots...looting...maybe suicides...which could possibly affect me both mentally and physically.
In the highly unlikely event that something does happen that day, I will make these next years the best of my life so far, thank you for brightening these next years for me, Mayans!

I do believe in aliens, but rather than cower in fear of a "surrender or die" situation, you can gaurantee you'll see me making some of the first business negotiations with them
Alien Natural Resources anyone? Of course...if it's them searching for allies and also resources after depleting their own, then you'll see me emmigrating to their Empire with Stephen Hawking
Because we all know how the rest humanity is going to deal with that...

Yeah I mean, seriously, you never know what form those aliens might take or how they have sex. Heck, they could even not be able or willing to have sex but if they did and they have huge tentacles you go for it and I tape the hentai-like scenes

Aliens definitely do not freak me out. One of the things that doesn't scare me at all.

The main thing I'm really afraid of is the idea of looking back on my life whilst dying and thinking it wasn't worth it. The feeling I could have gotten so much more out of life than I did, but that it's too late to do anything about it now... That, and impotency.

I'm also terrified of the idea that other people will know what I'm afraid of!

The only phobia I have is one of axe weilding maniacs ....

The best way of not being afraid is to scare other people. At least, it works for me...

I hate it when people say you have to have a phobia . No you don't , a phobia is irrational a fear is rational .A fear of heights is a phobia but a fear of falling from heights is not .And the fear I mentioned has to be the most rational fear of all , that I stole from Dara O'Briain (an Irish comedian) .
