Hi,

Here's a vintage Arkhan The Black on Undead Chariot.

The chariot has 2 options - Fly mode and Attack mode.
Miniature hinge allows you to raise and lower the carriage.

Citadel plastic horses had been replaced with metal Iron Claw steeds.

I'm a big fun of Dark Omen PC game so I tried to draw banner similar to "Hand of Nagash" chariot banner with some modifications

When you finish him you can put him next to your new one as Nagash's Mini Me.

Actually I'm working on 4th edition Undeads and going to complete all pre-slotta undead I have, so the new Nagash and the other plastic VCs will probably stay boxed for years.

Arkhan the Black on Flying Chariot. Arkhan is the current model's top half, with the cape trimmed a bit, the reigns removed, and new green stuff tassles hanging from his hat, stuck on top of the lower body of Settra. The proportions aren't quite right - current arkhan is in a noticeably larger scale than old school Settra, but the chariot obscures that and if I had kept the whole body in arkhan's proportions it would have looked wrong sized for the chariot.

The chariot itself is Settras, with black knight steeds for the horses and trimmed down vargheist wings stuck on the side w/ some greenstuff connecters. The whole thing is stuck on top of the bottom spirit bits from the Mortis Engine, with extra wire and greenstuff support to connect them up to the horses in front.

I'm pretty happy with the paint job, though the varnish frosted on the first attempt forcing me to repaint parts. Arkhan's face, unfortunately, suffered the worst of it, and the paint is visibly too thick as is. I have arkhan spare on sprues somewhere, one day I might try to go back and replace the head at least. But it's good enough as is, and I have way too many completely unpainted models lying around, and I really don't want to risk messing this model up, so it'll stay as is for now.
