Pretty cool though; I really do like the effect when the 'Ethereal' scheme of paint is like.. not a focus, but rather a blend into it from the normal paint job? You know, instead of just being a solid.. two colour blend lol.

Because if you apply logic to ethereals, a lapse in concentration/effort could see them sinking through the ground until all of a sudden your unit of wraiths has dissapeared into the planets crust...

My friend just gave me his old Black Coach (yes, he just gave it to me...) I had one already, but two is nice too. I think I'll redo the paintwork a bit and post it here, when I'm finished. I'll use the old chassis as bits for some monstrosity. I must say I lolled for the Monster Coach Madness. Grave Digger FTW!

I also really like those ones that are displayed in the process of going ethereal. That's what I was thinking too.

Isn't the Black Coach intended as a revival tool for the vampire, I believe those enhancements will speed up the recovery process nicely.

I modeled my coach to match the Blood Dragon theme of my army. And since I use a flaming skull motif (inspired by Ghost Rider), of course it needed flaming wheels!

Seeing these coaches makes me want to watch Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust again. If you haven't seen it, the movie opens with a black coach riding through town. Not many good shots of the coach's details, but it's effect is chilling– crosses on rooftops twist as it passes, lights burn out, and the water in the fountain freezes in its presence.

When i swapped from Empire to VC, i just couldn't let that tank go, so i turned it into BC.

My Black Coach finally finished. I had trouble with pics but it includes a vamp (lord) on roof, his vamp brides/minions x3, a lady vamp in a coffin, the original driver/cairn wraith is sitting on the bar between the horses. Also bits from the mortis engine, corpse cart, and some misc zombie horses. Designed with the philosophy that less isn't more, more is more
