one of the 20 i forgot to remove the modlines ,

Overall think really good tabletop level, but if there are any other cool ideas i am all up for it on my 60 others :P

I've started repainting my VC army, here's one test Ghoul. I think it's better than my older ones but I'm still not sure about the theme... I'm either going with this new winter theme or I'm going to start it all up and make the classic graveyard theme. Anyway, painting VC is stuck again.

Just finished this ghast/Ghoul King and figured I'd toss a pic up here of him, made him entirely of spare terrorgheist bits. Simple model but the effect he has on the field is astounding.

Time to show you my Ghouls, which I just finished last night. I'm quite pleased to be honest.

A nice tidy tabletop job I hope! The army painter quick shade varnish really does a great job of adding depth quickly to large amounts of models.

Did some ghouls as a present for a friend. Most of his ghouls will be from mantic so these GW ones will be interspersed. Wanted the ghast to stand out so I did an elevated scenic base for him

to differentiate them from the zombies in his force (Under-painted black) I used red oxide car primer so there would be a reddish undertone to them all
Used a few old metal ghouls as well. The naked woman ghoul is an old Chainmail figure from Wizards of the Coasts D&D figures

And finally the expensive ghouls from GW!

Arrrg! It's killing me now! I thought you had the Ghouls with the super-glow eyes. But I can only think that maybe it was Fallen Angel instead? I swear there were some with like, maybe a stone-y look, and amaaazzinnngg glow-y teal eyes.

Also I appreciate that you post the way you painted your models, I had not noticed the slight purple in the recesses before you mentioned it. They look pretty sweet, I like the more 'Flesh' tone-y kind of ghouls, although I probably won't go with that plan myself.
btw did you go Scorched> Bestial> Snakebite Leather> Vomit for the hair parts? Or perhaps skipped the Scorched?

Here's my Village Militia counts-as Ghouls, I suppose both their hygiene standards, mental health and nutrient intake are about the same as their role models...:
