Ok, heres mine. Already posted elsewhere, but why not? I like the newer models and they fit in with my old army quite well - which is more than can be said for the 5th edition gigantic skeletons.

I'm curious though, with a glow-y effect like that, do you paint the surfaces that have the glow on them completely like normal, then go back over and carefully apply the glow-gradient? Or do you skip a bit of highlight/detail work when you know you're going to be covering an area with the glow?

Loads of great work here. I raelly like Grave Guards, but are the old ones really that despicable that you throw them away? :zombie:

I certainly do not despise the old stuff, here they are

I wanted a banner that towered high and looked out of the ordinary, and wasn't metal. Turned out very handsome and almost 4 inch tall!

Somehow I think these almost look more evil and menacing than the new ones, but I like it all! These are what I have, and they certainly portrait Grave Guards well enough if you ask me. Espcially the champion. That's a sword of badassery.

The Seneschal dragon adornation will probably be repainted anything but gold, if not I'll add corrosion like all other areas. Perhaps pure white or screaming in your face green, or bloody red.

All 25 I have are painted like these, just not their bases yet. In due time though!
I really hope you liked seeing old ones, I haven't before on this forum.

Logan, as Grrremlin said..one of the greatest (or maybe THE greatest) GG I ever saw. The idea is just so simple genius, that I am happy not to have any great weapon GG's yet, so I can build them inspired by yours. Shame I have to ask, but are these chaos warrior bodys?

Thanks for the comments about my grave guard, when I get some time I will post how to do the glow effect.

Theerteen, well, if you want a unit like that you need to search ebay for the model, they ae limited edition Empire models, Teutogen Guard, I've seen them go for £60+ a box of 10, if your lucky you might be able to find some recast ones done in china or something.
