Thought we should have on of these "shoe us your.." threads as well! I really like taking pictures while I play and perhaps some of you do as well? I for one would really love to see pictures of other peoples games with their vampires!

I'll start with a few, I had two games yesterday, one vs empire and one vs DE. I actually managed to win both games! Though it was really a failed fear test that won me the game vs DE (thank you fear incarnate + Aura of dark majesty + screaming banner combo)


Unfortunately, my opponent don't paint as fast as I do so my apologies on their behalf

over 100 zombies, led by a vampiress crash into the imperial defence line. In the background, my general leads 50 skeletons into the fray and a spirit host ties up some demigryphs.

After three failed fireballs, my wraiths has open season on the right flank, you can actually see the fear in the knights eyes

Cool! Great idea for a thread. The vamp and death hag showdown on the cauldron really captures the excitement, especially with so many units squared off like that.

Cool thread, I'll make sure to post here once my own VC army is battlefield ready.

Two comments on the battle above. The big zombie horde (with a literal "horde"), how does it fair? I always though they were cool in horde formation but always doubted the effectiveness. Also, the wraiths on the flank, I assume they are taken as a rare unit, if so you should note that they no longer have the skirmished special rule. So they should actually rank up, forming the cutest little unit ever. Just thought you might want to know.

Mad'At: I actually took them because of the cool Factor and for the undead horde look. But I was Lucky to roll speed of Light with my hero vamp and that really made them effective! Also, being led by a vampire helped a bit. They're VERY vulnerable to death spells such as purple sund or pit of shades But other than that they do very well. And they are really affordable as well!

As for the Wraiths, that is something I've completely missed! XD Thanks.

Wow Olethros70! Those are some huge battles!! How long does it take to finish a game around 5000 pts?

I never take pictures of my games truth be told and now looking at this I do regret it.
I do have a couple from throne though, nothing nearly as cool as that duel between the Vampire and Helbron, the stair way just makes it look so damn awesome!

Love all the pics, it really does make a difference from seeing "static" (for want of a better word ) shots, to the models actually being used in battle.

Makes me have itchy fingers about my unpainted models upstairs.

Nice thread, here are some of mine.

@ObliviJohn One of the pictures in particular gave me a thought.

"... and as the Wood Elves began to gain the upper hand, three mysterious objects fall from the sky and land not too far away from the battle. Both armies wonder what it could be. The vampires initial thought is warp stone, or perhaps Chaos beings from the warp; the elves suspect Chaos as well. Diverting their attention towards the greater perceived threat, the elves are promptly cut down amidst their distraction by the undead horde. A varghulf is seen rending a great eagle. The battle is over and the bloodshed is great, but vampires care not.

When suddenly, over the ridge, comes an unfamiliar force. The vampire musters his army for another battle and tries to depict his enemy. It is not chaos and most definitely not the hoped for warp stone, but SPACE MARINES..."

Hmm?! Maybe they did find a time portal in the eye and BAM, back in time. We have jokingly had strafing runs with our flyers with that idea in mind, just moving the model not actually firing it or bomb dropping (grumble).
