Looking good so far mate, you going to give them any extras to tie into your force in regards to things like basing etc?

The bases are all done in a mix of black, grey and brown ballast for all my models in the VC. Grey paint around the edges that works well on my grey table top. I put some of the spirit host grave stone extras on my horror bases. Thanks for the replies. Now I have to just push myself into painting up some of my core units, sigh.

Wow your photos demonstrate one cool new side effect of the spirit host models; they're so busy compared to the previous models! From a player's angle it might not be so noticeable, but from almost-head-on as in the pics, it really does look like a huge horde, exact numbers unclear.

Thanks. It's a common theme I have running through my army. All my VC and TK models use that colour either on clothes, wings, etc, even the zombies. I find it ties the army together with a common thread, and makes for a more impressive sight wen they are all lined up.

The painting level of this forum made me register here You all paint so amazingly good! Here is my Vargheist, he's quite not on the same level as yours, but I'm happy with the result, the highlights are a bit rude I think, maybe I'll fix them later. Oh and btw, the blood for the blood god is amazing, bought it the other day thinking it was just dark red
