Eggspr: how did you get the snow on the varghulf to be like that? I was trying to do a similar thing for my men at arms.

Just basically sloppily drybrush the thing in PVA glue, then just throw bicarbonate of soda all over it.

Since the act of something rolling around in the snow is random, the act of throwing the soda on it should be the same, as well as the PVA application :)

egg, that application of snow to your models looks ace.. I would only say make sure it is "art directed peoperly" even if it would really be all over... artisitcally... it might not be good to do so.

having said that I LOVE how brave youve been with the idea.

Im blown away by how everyone treats the same model.

it keeps me coming back and back to the site!!

Just recently finished my Varghulf:

Those are Balrog wings, tattered up and puttied to meet the body. More detail shots and WIPs can be seen on my blog (in the signature link).

That is one mighty fine conversion you have the Infernal, Just wait a minute while i go melt down my unmodified vargulf.

That Varghulf is amazing Infernal.
He really looks like he can fly, or at least he's having a good shot at it!

The wings look more like Fell Beast ones to my untrained eye, have you done anything to 'em?

P.S. I may have to pinch your idea when I get round to doing one, if that's all right with you of course...

Cool forum guys! Was looking for a place to show off my new paintings.

Couple mods on this one... Dripping blood... Top three spines on the back were breaking off so I built new, bigger ones out of green stuff.
