Just a quick question on what preferences anyone has for the new washes and skeletons. I've tried both the Devlan Mud and the Gryphonne Sepia washes.

Also, if anyone has any good tips for painting over the washes, I could use any help I can get lol. I've tried dry brushing with both bleached bone and skull white, and neither one seems to finish the model cleanly. Just about all of the guides for painting I have found use the old inks, and since it's hard to find the inks anymore, does anyone know of an updated painting guide for the washes? Thanks is advance

Well I used the drybrush tecnique, and I got good results (have a look at my plog). I think the trick is to use a completely dry brush (no overbrushing). Then brush over the basecoat with several successive, thin layers.
Also if your paint is too watery, you can put the open pot on your desk for some hours.

I wish I had the hang of taking pics and posting them so I could show off my new Skellies, which I'm really proud of.

Spray black. Paint bones with Foundation's Deneb Stone, metal Tin Bitz/Chaos Black (the horn + standard), and Boltgun Metal. Leather that new Foundation brown, don't remember. Cloth purple.

Then wash everything with a healthy dose of Foundation Badad Black, not dilluted. Then highlight everything.

I dont know about anyone elde around here, but I have tried using Devlan Mud , one of GW's new washes, and I personally dont care for it. I am actually painting a unit of skellies now and I prefer kust painting them Dheneb Storne, washing them with a mix of Scorched Brown and Black, doing a slightly wet/dry brush over them, then pick out highlights with a 50/50 mix of Stone and White. Works good for me and isnt an overly complicated method,
