Been away from warhammer a while but with the release of "the end times" had to get back in. Here is what i had painted up. Working on a corpse cart now and hope to use this thread to keep me painting.

Nice stuff mate, I feel the bright yellow is a bit garish being there all on it's own, but I guess that will change when it's finished.

Looking sexy so far mate, must echo the above sentiment though, that yellow banner is a spot colour too far I reckon.

Thanks for the replies. By the way criticism is welcome as i am trying to improve the painting skills.
As for the banner i am not sure what i was thinking other then just getting some paint on it. What i think i will do is go for a yellow trim with dark purple skyline behind the sickly yellow moon. This should help theme the army in the long run.

Having seen your black knights too now, I think that the yellow is too clean. If you want to use yellow you might want to grunk it up a bit. It's very bright and happy and alive at the moment., and if there's one thing we hate it's things that are alive..

I think that tonight any painting wiil be testing how to dull down and dirty up my yellow. I would like to finish up the units this weekend minus the cart. I told my self no more models till they are done.

Agreed with the yellow colour, should be a great improval of your job, i would also dirty up the metal that is too clean! (specialy the zombies wich pop to my eyes!)

Yep.. That's it, that's the yellow that works.. I'd recommend the same technique on all the undead yellow bits in your force, except for the Countess Von Carstein.. She actually looks good with the cleaner yellow.

Well it's not exactly yellow now but it works damn it.
Looks sexy mate, and the lazy light purple highlights in the centre really help set it off.

Not much done since the banner other then a few more base coats on the corpse cart.

Still a long way to go, but at least moving in the right direction.

Wow Tj, great job.! That freehand on the banner looks very very cool.. Love the two shades of purple and the swirls / clouds of purple infront of the yellow moon.. Even though you killed the yellow on the banner it came out fantastic which is what matters in the end.!

And great progress your pushing models out fast, and they look very cool to boot.!!

Some really great details there, starting to look like one sexy cart.
Curious though are you going to darken it down a little once its close to finished?
The clothing though awesome strikes me more of living empire state troops over undead with how bright and clean it is.
