Hahaha, I had trouble seeing what everything was after priming black so I looked at what others had painted for reference.

I assumed her back was covered in the same cloth as the dress but you might be right...
It will look kinda weird once the arms are attached though if the dress is backless but has those huge sleeves.

I like the tone of blue you have achieved. Care to share the recipe?

Sure it's nothing fancy though =)
I just used somewhat thinned regal blue over the black coat. I then added some black to the blue and thinned it down a bit more and applied it to where I wanted shadow. Then added some more black so it was almost completely black and painted the deepest parts of the cloth. The highlight is just thinned down enchanted blue that I applied in layers.

I have been lazy lately so not much done but I have cleaned, assembled and based a few zombies. Amazing how much work it is before you can even start painting these guys.

I have tried painting some of the zombies and while I realize I might have gone a bit over the top with the gore I kinda think that zombies should have alot of blood and gore on them. That said I will most likely tone it down for most of the zombies maybe just add blod.

I used glue and tamyia clear red. The process is described in this tutorial:

It won't work with just any glue though so if you can't find one like they use in the tutorial you'll have to find an equivalent.

Thanks for the tutorial. I dont think we have that glue where I live though, so I will have to try some different types of glues.

Another "glue" you could try is Decopage glue...found at arts and crafts stores...

hey, this gore thing looks awesome... i dont think its over the topat all..and completely in keeping with the theme for the unit.

watch any half decent zombie film for the amount of gore associated with these chaps.

Thank you. The green on the GG weapons is just very thinned down scorpion green that I applied over the metal color. Just have to make sure it doesn't pool.

Woo! Love the zombies. Nothing like bloody and gory zombies! One tip would be to add a little bit of purple to the clear red; it makes it look like the blood is coagulating and such!

Other than that, way to go champ.

I will try that purple but I don't have any purple ink and I'm afraid adding a regular color to the mix might remove the gloss.
