is the spear head worth it?..i see those ghouls and my thoughts on the spear head go down..and only 10 skeles...want opinions..

I agree w/ unholy on this one. The only way its not worth it is if you are absolutely sure of your army list and you dont need half the stuff in that box. I have no clue what i am going to do yet, so I am really considering getting one of these beauties.

Actually the new range of VC minis is nice but i prefer to collect my army from the rest of the warhammer race. haha! if i like that model/unit of the particular race... i would like to turn it undead. I'm a selective vampire lord... Hahaha!! In this way, i feel my army will be characterful.

I'm buying all my stuff seperatly I dont really whant vlad and the other vampire count and I worked out if you buy it seperatly without them it comes to £93 thats £12 pounds of another unit of skeltons for me.
If it came with bloodknights, it might be worth it, but I won't be using ghouls anymore, and would rather piecemeal what few things I need.

I think I'm going for it, since I can use a few extra of the plastic units and I was planning to buy the Warghulf and some characters too. The only problem is the price, so I guess I'll be saving for some time to get it!

I have just added up the total contents of the Spearhead, and it comes to £107.
I will not be getting this, since the new Skeletons, Dire Wolves and Ghouls, including Vlad Von Carstein and the Varghulf do not interest me.
I have also worked out that if you want a unit of 20 Skeletons, you would have to pay £24 for two boxes.

Wow... they are charging $300 over here in australia for the spearhead boxset.. which on the current exchange rate works out to be approx. 137 pounds... Blood Knights they are asking for $120 or 55 pounds for...

Perhaps "Excessive" would be a better word. While I dont generally buy that much as once either It´s just more comfartable... the fact I get delivered to my home also helps

Oh and I am starting out with... 0 zombies/skeletons etc so for me it's a good start.
No wait, have some skeletons to be made up, and some zombies my fiance converted from goblins a while back.

Well as of this morning the spearheads for those of us that live in the UK should have arrived, I'm enjoying putting together some GG as I type this =)
