I really wanna paint my Space Wolves as 13th Comapny. There's just so little fluff on 13th Company though, that i've no idea what to really 'aim for' in terms of an army.

Take they colors it is befoer Heresy Grey and Red and they make spare parts from CSM because they live in Eye of the Terror and hunt them (CSM) there :devil2:

Ok, I may be a bit biased against Space Wolves , but in all honestly as an unbiased bystander, I can't see anything successfully skipping around in the Eye of Terror hunting down Chaos like nothing. And for how long? :swear:

Even if I'm not the greatest SW fan, I enjoy seeing the darker/grittier paint jobs that people often create. As opposed to the brighter and "happier" wolves.

yeah i liked 13th company when i started playing space wolves but i didnt see the point it was a period army. only going to be avalible for a short amount of time... so i went for the normal SW which i loved playing. plan on re painting them some day so they arnt massive men in dry brushed armour lol with big bushy beards

I really have to say, Chunky von Waffles (that sounds derogatory, but it isn't, it's your name... ), that I respectfully disagree with you. I think the 13th Company are a very important component of the Space Wolves fluff and one of the parts that I find the most attractive. I mean, what says Space Wolf more than an elite group of fighters trapped in the most hostile of enemy territory, fighting for their lives and very souls, forced to scavenge the very wargear from their dead comrades and enemies? Maybe I just have a soft spot for the fanged buggers.

Anyways, excellent paint job on that model, Kirgan. That vibrant blue tatoo on his head really stands out and makes him look really unique to a lot other models that you see kicking around.

Sure! They might have spent a bit of time having a jolly time in there. But after over 10,000 years, It becomes a tight spot for them and before they realize it, they are fighting to the last man on their final last stand. Which, in all respects, would be a glorious battle report
I truly acknowledge their fighting prowess, but I myself like to think of them as a "Historical" company to be played/collected.
Similar to Vlad von Carstein, Isabella, etc.
