Cult Beef: Their continued survival means he cannot collect the paycheck promised him for eliminating the cult in the area.
Anecdote: There are very few problems, in Ghost's opinion, that cannot be solved with a sufficient quantity of bullets and high explosive. Sure, sometimes you need fancy bullets made out of silver or wood, or 12 gauge shotgun rounds packed with rock salt, or fragmentation grenades armed with a payload of silver or aerosolized holy water..... of course, these things cost extra, so Ghost's services don't come cheap.

This look about right? I like the idea of a well trained mortal using nothing but his wits, training and large quantities of firepower to pay the bills in a world full of supernatural/eldritch horrors. Of course, this doesn't mean supernatural stuff can't happen to him later XD.

Cool. Sanai, is your merc informed or un-informed? As in, does he know properly or does he just know there's weird stuff out there?

I was figuring that he has experience in the military, particularly in some of the shadier, off the books kind of stuff, and through that work gained his awareness of the supernatural nature of the world. (I am assuming that at least some branches of the military/various governments would be aware of the supernatural at some level, as it would be necessary to keep tabs on such things, heck, some of the shadier parts of the military/governments would likely have actively tried to take advantage of such things).

Now he works solo, either advising on matters of security against the various esoteric threats, or directly providing security or even carrying out offensive operations. I figure he doesn't really understand much of the how or why of the supernatural, instead focusing on the more practical aspects- e.g. what is out there and how do you kill it?
