Long story short...

Started by the Pilgrims who traveled over here on the Mayflower.
Greeted by native americans who taught them how to harvest the land, hunt, fish, and help them on their feet.
Big party and they all ate together to celebrate.
As the name states, it is to "give thanks" and be thankful for what you have.

As the name states, it is to "give thanks" and be thankful for what you have.

that was awesome lol...but yea its just another way to get the family together and spend money to help the economy

Yeah, it's like that, but we do get to eat alot of food and I for one, and not complaining one bit.
