Probably gonna make a new thread on background with Counts, but Countess' have never been covered AFAIK. Anyway, onto it:

Name: Finelle.
Title: The Glutton.
Origin: A moderately large village near Ghost Wood, Sylvania.
Age: 2374.
Current Location: Petrified Forest, Naggaroth.
Count: Magneqrox, the Juggernaut.
Associates: Wight King Igor the Champion (BSB), Vampire Thraak'ann.

Physique: Extremely fat (but a balanced distribution on the body, no potbelly or anything) and large. Her tongue can be elongated, until it's about 3 metres in length. long, black hair held in a mane by a grey crown with a single, purple pearl at the front. She is almost constantly grinning, but her teeth are still human. Her skin is as white as milk.

She wears breast armour (forgive me those of you that are sensitive ), and long, black greaves at her legs and arms, and also a big yellow-black robe (Nightshroud), in addition to her grimacing, ghost-like Sceptre of the Queen (Sword of Kings). However, the armour is merely decorative, not real protection.

Mentality (also includes what she, or it, likes to do): Ranks among and above the Empire's Finest in terms of greed, and has an almost morbid interest in consumption. Will often send out Ghouls to capture bands of Dark Elves. What she does then is better left unspoken, but suffice to say that there is usually no meat left for the worms that she has let inhabit her parlour, and the victim's screams remind of Banshees, while the self-indulgent laughter that follows will put a moment of cowering in many.

She treats her slaves as objects rather than subjects. Her gluttony has earned the keep the name Taint River Keep, from the great amounts of blood that flow from her parlour at every meal (and the meals happen at every excuse). Strangely, flesh still tastes to her, but it has even more strangely had an enhanced flavour.

She's an expert at beguiling and captivating her enemies, which compliments her greed and self-indulgence, as there is much pleasure in tricking and devouring mortals. When in the mood to feast (the only time she isn't, is when she's currently feasting), her fury is of fearsome prowess.

In addition, she's fond of terrorising the population of Western Bretonnia, (where she's known as 'She Who Lusts') the times they travel abroad. Most notably when feasting upon entire villages.

- So there's mine! post yours, no matter how obscene, macabre, surrealistic or otherwise they are :)

RE: The background of your Countess?

Name: Sariah von Carstein.
Title: The Dark Duchess.
Origin: A small town in the southern provinces of the empire.
Age: 20 years mortal/595 years Vampire.
Current location: Nexeturnus in the Border Princes.
Count: Simon von Carstein. (Sire/Lover).
Associates: Aurelius (Brother in Death) Lucius, Marius and Maximilian (Gets).

Physique: Curvy and trim with shoulder length raven dark hair wears a crown of silver and a Dress and Nightshroud and carries a staff of damnation with a silver skull on the end.

Mentality: Insane and childlike most of the time has been known to have more lucid moments. She suffers from precognition and is skilled at hypnotising and beguiling her foes regards her gets as children and treats them as such. The vargulf she treats the same way a human would treat a small puppy and her mesmeric abilities enable her to control it without being ripped apart. She has a liking for bunny rabbits and Simon is always having to catch one for her to look after as a pet. It has to be said they don't last long.

Her favourite prey is children and this makes her hated by the living more than many of the other vampires.

RE: The background of your Countess?

Name: Lesa (surname long forgotten)
Title: Mistress. (Also know as the the Siren)
Origin: A small fortified village located at the base of Silver Pinnacle, was destroyed when she was kidnapped by Neferata
Age: 2612.
Current Location: Travelling - Sylvania
Count: Milosh Cromwell the vampire Wraithlord
Sire: Neferata
Associates: Rayla (Get) A female vampire she has taught the ways of magic and sometimes her lover. Rowhaine - A bestial vampire. Vankar - Pet necromancer

Physique: Stunningly beautiful she is said to be lovelier that Neferata, a slim perfectly formed body she normally wears extremely revealing clothes showing off her body and breasts though she normally wears a hood to give her an air of mystery. Her hair is black and red flowing over her shoulders. She has full lips that are normally painted purple or red of her victims.

Background: Born into a village at the bottom of Silver Pinnacle she soon stood out due to her unnatural beauty. She had no imperfections and was the desire of many men and surprisingly women seemed to be attracted to her too. The effect was not entirely due to her stunning looks, since birth an aura of magic had surrounded her adding to her looks until together they made her irresistable. Neferata heard the rumours of this young maiden and was intrigued. Sending her minions she captured her razing the village to the ground at the same time. Looking upon her Neferata agreed she was lovely indeed though no comparison to herself. Granting her the Blood Kiss she inducted her into her ranks of handmaidens, this proved to have unusual results. The dark magic of the Lahmian Blood Kiss reacted someway with her unnatural beauty amplifying tenfold. Her looks now surpassed that of Neferata which threw the Vampire Queen into an incandescent rage. Barely escaping with her new unlife Lesa escaped into the fledging empire. Throughout her many years she learned of the power of her looks and her sensuality using it to gain power where needed although she was never interested in keeping it.The darkness that was cultivated by the Blood Kiss came through in the sexually deviant acts she performed on her victims and allies alike, man, women or beast. She seduces where she needs and many a victim have meet a pleasurable end experiencing the ectasy her body can give before she rips thier throats out spraying blood over her naked body. During this time she has also expanded on her natural magic ability, expanding on her knowledge through subterfuge or seduction, only the Lore of Life eluded her due to her undead body.

Current Status
During one of her last undercover foray's into the college of magic she met her now husband Milosh, recognising a vampiric spirit as magically adept and sexually perverted as she it was love at first sight. When Milosh suffered the magical accident which blasted apart his coporeal body it was she that managed to keep his spirit in the world of the living. She now searches for a way to make him coporeal again, men and women across the empire whisper, half afraid / half hoping that Mistress Lesa, the Siren, will grant them pleasure beyond mortal comprehension.

RE: The background of your Countess?

Name: Angelica von Carstein
Title: Baroness
Origin: The Tilean town of Trantio.
Age: 421.
Current Location: Unnamed Castle, western Sylvania.
Count: Definately not.
Maker: Konrad von Carstein
Associates:
-Sengira Tristwood, paladin of the Silver Cross. The only vampire Angelica has sired. Vampirism is the deepest torture imaginable to her, and she hates her mistress with all of her soul.
-Vidomina the Witch, a macabre, mysterious and slightly insane vampire left to her disposal by her maker. A prominent magician and Necromancer. Angelica have no idea of her true purposes.
-Archibald the Festering, also known as Archibald the Necrophilia or Lil' Coughin' Ol' Archie. Prefers to be known as King Archibald the Magnificent. He's a little Necromancer Angelica found in a town outside her castle. Archibald has killed and zombified the village's population and proclaimed himself their King. Extremly insane, completely batshit but useful and amusing.
-Igor, the Captain over her servants. A human Gypsy who leads his band of armed villains in combat.

Physique:
A slim body, attracting with a bit larger breasts than most women. Long, deeply red hair often fashioned in obscure Imperial ways. Her face is beautiful, though a bit harsh due to her sharp nose. Her lips are lightly red compared to her otherwise albaster-pale skin. Her eyes are dark blue and often adorned with black or purple eyeshadow. She would be fairly beautiful, if it wasn't for the merciless ruthlessness in her gaze and the selfish, sadistic grin of her lips.

She prefers to wear dresses of Imperial fashion, though on the battlefield she uses more practical clothes. Her favourite outfit is an adorned corsett, revealing pants of short Tilean design and a pair of slim leather boots. All draped in a fashinable cloak and with a velvet scarf tied around her waist.

Mentality:
A conquest-minded and ruthless noblewoman who would sacrifice anything for power. The blood of her maker Konrad left her with an extremtly unbalanced mind and she is prone to berserk when in combat. She has a very, very bad temper and is easily angered and offended. She can restrain herself from slicing a rude person into strings of meat, but mostly feels no need to. As anyone born into a dome of corruption, politics and plotting she can be seductive and manipulative, though she's too impatient to maintain it for long. As a female vampire she's able to seduce people, but if she does it always involves the unfortunate victim being ripped apart. In contradiction to the Lahmian wenches she would never let a mortal touch her. In combat she has perfected the style of Tilean street fighting, favouring a sturdy rapier and a beautiful, master-crafted duelling pistol. Combined with her inner fury, this combination catch most opponets off-guard and her victories are often due to sheer brutality and an impenetrable willpower.

Background:
Angelica was the daughter to a Baron of Tilea, a minor nobleman with no real power. She accompanied a small cargo of spices to the village of Stoodhof at the most western parts of Sylvania, where she was taken away by Konrad von Carstein's servants. Slaving for him during three years, she was granted the Blood Kiss as a sadistic amusement to her master. Later that night she was saved and taken to her current Castle by a guest of Konrad's, a mysterious male vampire. She was left with a stab of slaves and servants including a vampiric Witch and a small army of the undead.

Current Occupation:
Angelica has started to infiltrate the Tilean market, sending her Gypsies into the land to buy gunpowder weapons and spread corruption. Her goal is to become the wealthiest and most powerful noblewoman in all of Tilea. Though since two-hundred years back, her efforts have been severly hindered by the zealous Griffon Kingdom. The Kingdom has invaded the lands west of her home, fiercly guarding the border and trying to abolish the undead threat that she posess. Religious fanatics to the bone, Angelica has been forced to defend her Castle from uncountable attacks and besieges. When the Kingdom first learned of the vampire's presence, they attacked her castle with an entire Order. The Order of the Silver Cross, led by Sengira Tristwood, was mercilessly slaughtered and later raised as minions.

The complete story of her Blood Kiss can be found in a thread named "Bad Blood: The tale of Baroness Angelica von Carstein".

RE: The background of your Countess?

Name: Emmanuelle von Carstein.
Title: Countess of Templehof.
Origin: Sylvanian.
Age: six hundred years at least. She's lost count.
Current Location: A Black Coach stalking the roads of south-western Sylvania.
Count: Formerly Pieter von Carstein, currently courted by Baron Havelock von Ruthven.
Sire: Pieter von Carstein. Or possibly Mannfred.
Associates:
- Baron Havelock von Ruthven, Regent of Templehof and Lord Commander of the Order of the Black Cross.
- by extension, Carmilla von Ruthven and Varnard von Wellmitz, Havelock's living get.
- one get of her own, Orlok the Summoner, whose current whereabouts are unknown.

An attractive 'woman of a certain age', though currently looking somewhat... dessicated. Flowing blonde hair and proportions best described as 'statuesque' - it's been put about that Pieter turned her for aesthetic reasons and continually underestimated her intellect and ambition.

Perceived by many as a trophy wife, Emmanuelle wasn't treated with particular respect by Konrad von Carstein's court when presented to them. Pieter's destruction by the witch hunter Helmut van Hal was very much a liberating factor for her; she's known to have abandoned the von Carstein court and withdrawn to her late husband and sire's lands in Templehof. Mannfred certainly didn't call on her to support his own invasion, lending support to the rumour that she may have been involved in removing Pieter as a competitor for rule of the County, sponsoring and guiding van Hal and his companions* - indeed, that she might even be Mannfred's own get, gifted to Pieter as a trophy and planted to bring about his destruction.

As Countess of Templehof, Emmanuelle was heavily involved with the nearby Order of the Black Cross, Sylvania's often-overlooked secular knights. It came as something of a shock to her to discover another vampire at the heart of the Order; one not answering to the Counts of Sylvania or the name von Carstein. Havelock von Ruthven had commanded the Order from the shadows since Vlad's rise to power; whether he came with Vlad or emerged from hiding in the first Count's wake is immaterial and largely forgotten.

Emmanuelle and Havelock struck up a relationship half rivalry and half romance, united in their desire to remain independent from Konrad and, later, Mannfred, both of whom Emmanuelle perceives as having fundementally misunderstood Vlad's dream of the Empire of the Dead. Perhaps Emmanuelle might have continued scheming and taken Mannfred's place after his death, but fate intervened in the form of several hundred malodorous alcoholics.

Martin of Stirland's dwarf allies marched back to their keeps through Templehof. They stopped long enough to lay the infamous Night Siege, the closing night of which saw Emmanuelle slain by an enchanted ballista and Havelock crippled in combat with the dwarf commander. It took over a century for her paramour to recover - Emmanuelle never did. She's spent over a hundred years in the Coach, rattling along the roads around Templehof, preying on anyone foolish enough to stand in her way and slowly regaining her strength.

Shortly after the events of the Storm of Chaos, a warpstone meteor came down somewhere in the region surrounding Templehof. Havelock has seized on this opportunity to resurrect his beloved Countess, and is even now working on refining the warpstone for a ritual to that effect.

What he doesn't know is that Emmanuelle's brilliant mind has shattered in the long centuries since her death. While granting her arcane power beyond anything she enjoyed before, the rite of resurrection is likely to finish the job, leaving her as likely to drift into a meditative fugue as she is to raise an army and set forth to conquer the Empire. Death in battle, confinement in the ruins of Castle Templehof and the Black Coach and the all-pervading power of warpstone will combine to produce someone still brilliant, but brilliant like a fractured mirror: full of light and colour and beauty all her own, but ultimately broken beyond complete repair.

RE: The background of your Countess?

Name: Cynthia Gladius

Known as: Cyn (pronounced Sin)

Age: 17, has been a vampire for two years

Associates: Drakki Gladius, her creator
Lucas Gladius, her brother in undeath
Fein, Doomwolf and leader of the packs of Dire wolves that run with the vampires
Stefan Du Cley, another vampire in Drakki's employ
Karrek, a wight king
Dayfed and Sunder, necromancers in Drakki's employ

Looks: has retained her youthful and pretty looks, her hair used to be black, but has turned blonde since being a vampire, wears a black hooded dress with sleeves far too long for her, the lower half of the dress is split to reveal a long, dark green skirt and the whole thing is belted by a blue sash.

Personality: still young and naieve, has abandonment issues and spends as much time as possible close to Drakki outside battle as possible, feels sorry for Lucas because the change to vamparism twisted him into something beastly, loves wolves and has a tendancy to ressurect them whenever and wherever she finds them, leading to dire wolves making up a large chunk of Drakki's army, still very childish in her ways and often spends her days with Fein curled up in her coffin with her.

History: Was born to necromancer parents and then abandoned with no knowledge of the fact. was raised by street urchins and other 'undesirable underpeople' as the town's mayor put it until they were pretty much killed off by the town militia. The night after the last of her friends was killed she was turned into a vampire by Drakki. This released a wave of necromatic magic that had been building in her her whole life that killed and ressurected the entire town. Ever since she has been second in command of Drakki's armies. Drakki sees her as a sort of daughter.

Ingrid von Carstein is highly enchanting and uses her beauty within the aristocracy of Sylvania to all her husband and herself prominent positions within the Vampire Council. Often described as sadist and insane, Ingrid is well known to bathing in the blood of the virgins of Templehof to keep her beauty which she is afraid, that as her years into undeath continue shall diminish.

Background:
Prior to her marriage and siring by Vyacheslav von Carstein in 2009, Ingrid von Carstein was the daughter of the previously ruler of the city of Templehof, located west of Drakenhof Keep in Sylvania. After Vyacheslav's successes within Mordheim, he returned to Sylvania a confident Vampire, and asked for Ingrid's hand in marraige. She accepted and shortly afterwards was sired into the von Carstein Bloodline, as Vyacheslav's wife in undeath.

During the first Vampire War, Ingrid traveled north with Vyacheslav and the armies of Sylvania similar to the way Isabella von Carstein, and Emmanuelle did. However, in the years of the campaign Ingrid became highly skilled in necromancy and assisted the Necromancers of Vladimir von Carstein in numerous occasions, which earned her reverance amongst other family members.

After the failure of the First Vampire War, Ingrid von Carstein remained with Vyacheslav and through his travels in the Empire, and the formation of a von Carstein coven inside the Stirland Capital of Wurtbad. Recently, Ingrid von Carstein has returned to Sylvania with Vyacheslav to find Mannfred von Carstein on the throne once again as Count of the Province. After discovering this Vyacheslav and Ingrid returned to her birth place of Templehof to govern the fledgling city.

Strengths and Powers:
- Ingrid von Carstein is naturally beautiful, and this beauty was further accentuated upon her siring. This is a valuable asset for Ingird as it fools her opponents to believe her to be weak and innocent, which is far from true.
- Ingrid von Carstein is a highly adept Necromancer, surpassing her husband Vyacheslav, and is known to be able to summon great hordes of Undead with little ease, assisting the von Carstien family further in their expansionist endeavors.
- Ingrid von Carstein can like a select few of the von Carstein line shapeshift into a wolf at will. This allows Ingrid to cover ground quickly when other forms of transportation are unavailable and also in this form Ingrid remains a consummate fighter. Whilst transformed Ingrid takes upon the form of a great white wolf.
- Ingrid von Carstein has an exceptional knack to recover from wounds incredibly quickly even for a Vampire which is further more amplified by the presence of his sword which when made wet by the blood of his enemies, rejuvenates Ingrid von Carstein to fight onwards.

Weakness:
- Ingrid von Carstein is highly vain and cares a great deal for her looks which have at many a time proved to be a pivotal weakness in her character.
- Ingrid von Carstein, is as such a small individual, even for a Vampire only a strong as a muscular mortal male when it comes to close combat, however this weakness is lessened by Ingrid's abilities as a Necromancer, and spell caster.

Associates:
- Vyacheslav von Carstein, Ingrid's sire and Husband.
- Andrea von Carstein, Vyacheslav’s Second Get, an individual with much prowess in combat.
- Vadim, a Necromancer of Vyacheslav.
- Klavdii, a Necromancer of Vyacheslav.
- Isabella von Carstein, Vyacheslav’s sire.
- Mannfred von Carstein, Current Count of Sylvania.

Name: Cassandra
Title: Countess of Hrafnhof Castle (Raven-tower), Border Princes
Age: Unknown
Maker: Neferata

Associates:

Khali - Her Handmaiden, was turned shortly after Cassandra arrived at Hrafnhof. It was believed that Cassandra enjoyed the young woman's company. She hardly ever leaves the side of her Mistress and plays the part of Informant and bodyguard.

Many are those that have underestimated the strength of Khali and fallen before her vengeance.

Origin:

Cassandra did not start her undeath within the confines of Hrafnhof, but came from the Land of the Dead. For many centuries, none heard of her... until one starlit night, she appeared at the gates of Hrafnhof, a maiden in tattered robes of Nehekharan Origin. When the Old Duke died, she took his place as the ruler of Hrafnhof.

Temperament:

Calm, controlled, composed and Regal. Cassandra is the epitomy of ancient customs and formalities, and has shared her bed-chambers with none. She can be cold when delivering justice, but towards her handmaiden... she is motherly and gracious.

Mentality:

Cassandra seems to hold a grudge against the Silver Pinnacle, and those few, privileged to speak with her in close communion, often learn that she carries scars that are far older than the foundations of Hrafnhof. She is patient, biding her time and gathering her power, whilst at the same time doing all within her abilities to defend her lands from the encroaching Orks, Goblins and Skaven.

Physique:

Slim, possessing a air of confidence that often entrances those nearby. Her skin is pale and her eyes burn with old regrets and past anger. Black hair hangs in elegant curling locks that contrast stunningly with her pale complexion.

Name: Erzsebet von Carstein (aka the Tigress of Cachtice, the Blood Countess)
Title: Countess Bathori
Origin: Batorpesht, Sylvania
Age: Born 1860; Died 1888
Current Location: Castle Cachtice, east of Waldenhof
Count: Independent
Sire: Mannfred von Carstein
Associates:
- The Black Bey (aka Count Ferenc, the Black Lord of Cachtice), a Wight King and Erzsebet's husband-in-life, also a former captain in the Sylvanian army.
- Dorka and Ficko, two necromancers in servitude to Erzsebet;
- Baron Thorgo, a Necrarch vampire and ally
- Louis du Bayard, a Blood Dragon and leader of Erzsebet’s Chalice Knights (Blood Knights)
- Katerina, Tomb Banshee and assassin of Count Ferenc

Physique: Long dark hair pinned up in a fashion popular in western courts in ages past, Erzsebet’s most striking feature is her alabaster white skin that appears to almost have a luminescent glow even in the darkest night. Erzsebet’s features, with the exception of her pale skin, are similar to the Strigany who roam Sylvania’s back roads. Dark eyes framing a slender pointed nose, the Countess’ lips are fully shaped and usually a vivid red. Erzsebet is approximately 5’7” tall and appears to be in the prime of her life.

Background: Born into the royal house of Bathori, Erzsebet is the daughter of George and Anna Bathori, the count and countess of Batorpesht. For centuries, the Bathori family provided protection to Sylvania’s northeastern territory. Other Sylvanian nobles, including the ruling von Drak family, sought to ally themselves with the Bathori family to improve their own family standing and benefit from the instant respect given to the name Bathori.

In 1875, rumors flowed from the court at Drakenhof that Vlad von Carstein intended to consolidate his power in Sylvania by ordering marriages of young Sylvanian nobles to his retinue of mysterious followers. Count Bathori watched the events unfolding in Sylvania and concluded that his daughter would have to be sent abroad for her own safety. The Countess Bathori had been a Lady-in-Waiting in the Bretonnian court as a youth; she quickly dispatched word to Bretonnia and received an invitation to the court for Erzsebet.

At the age of 15, Erzsebet entered the court of Bretonnia and began her education on the chivalric Bretonnian society. Five years passed and Erzsebet blossomed into womanhood, catching the eye of a charismatic young knight named Louis du Bayard. After a passionate courtship, Louis sent word to Erzsebet’s father asking for permission to marry. The response, signed by Count Bathori, was a refusal to allow the marriage and a demand that Erzsebet return to Sylvania with haste. Heartbroken at the denial, Louis took the vows of a questing knight and shed the thought of his former life with his beloved Erzsebet.

Erzsebet was equally devastated, not only losing her lover but also losing her friends and position in the Bretonnian court as she departed for Sylvania. Even more shocking upon her arrival a year later at her family home, she discovered that she had been deceived. Both the Count and Countess were dead, and all of the lands of the House of Bathori now belonged to one of Vlad von Carstein’s thralls – Mannfred von Carstein. Mannfred imprisoned Erzsebet, determined to learn from her the inner workings of the Bretonnian court.

Mannfred eventually gave Erzsebet a choice, accept a marriage to one of his vassals and return to Bretonnia as his spy or face a horrible, agonizing death and unlife. At first Erzsebet refused, but Mannfred knew how to press her into submission. Mannfred revealed to Erzsebet that her lover Louis du Bayard’s knightly quest had brought him to Sylvania and that Mannfred could easily hunt down her beloved. Struck numb by the choices she faced, Erzsebet agreed to the marriage with Mannfred’s captain, a man named Ferenc, and her role as spy in Bretonnia.

Ferenc and Erzsebet, now titled the Count and Countess of Bathori, returned to Bretonnia in 1884. At the news of her return, Louis du Bayard rushed to meet Erzsebet to proclaim his love again. After hearing that she was now Countess and married, Louis du Bayard was despondent. Eventually, Louis came to realize the marriage was a sham and that Erzsebet still loved him. Count Bathori took no notice of the relationship between Louis and his wife. Ferenc spent all of his time in Bretonnia secretly searching the countryside for tomb of the Red Duke, an ancient Bretonnian vampire, on orders from Mannfred.

In 1887, Mannfred received news that Ferenc, Count Bathori, had been killed by a prostitute during a quarrel over money. Suspecting more to the story then what was reported, Mannfred discovered that Erzsebet had hired an assassin to kill her husband. In a rage at the betrayal of his agent, Mannfred summoned Erzsebet to return to Sylvania to answer for her crime. But Erzsebet had been training for combat in secret and was prepared to make a desperate stand against Mannfred. Without a word of explanation, the Countess Bathori left Bretonnia and her lover, Louis, in the dead of night for one final journey to Sylvania.

Erzsebet’s confrontation with Mannfred in Sylvania six months later was short and brutal. The Countess was no match for the strength and skill of the vampire, although her will to challenge Mannfred impressed the vampire. Knowing that his time in Sylvania would be short and hoping to keep a thrall in control of the Bathori homelands, Mannfred forced the blood kiss on Erzsebet and brought her into unlife. The Countess embraced her new existence, suppressing whatever thoughts she had about her lover and the life that she had left behind in Bretonnia.

Mannfred did not forget about the knight Erzsebet left behind in Bretonnia or Ferenc’s failed mission to find the Red Duke’s tomb. Mannfred recruited a Blood Dragon, whom had been a Bretonnian paladin during his mortal life, to help tie up the loose ends of Erzsebet’s tragic story. In 1890, more than two years after Erzsebet’s departure, Louis du Bayard was killed during a challenge. Witnesses reported that Louis had fought a red armored knight claiming to be a champion from Blood Keep in Sylvania. Less than forty years later, the magical bonds of the Red Duke’s tomb were mysteriously breached and its fiendish prisoner was released.

Current Status: Erzsebet is obsessed with recreating Bretonnian society in Sylvania. To that end, she has established a knightly order, the Chalice Knights of Bathori, and has charged them with a quest to find the Blood Chalice of Bathori. Besides being a family heirloom lost after the death of Isabella von Carstein, Erzsebet believes the chalice will allow her to unite the other vampire counts under her leadership and usher in a golden age for Sylvania.

Erzsebet is surrounded by memories of her past: Louis du Bayard is her champion and leader of her Chalice Knights, Count Ferenc is a Wight King bound to her service as a bodyguard, and Ferenc’s murderer, an assassin named Katerina, is now a Tomb Banshee who haunts her mistress as much as she serves. Erzsebet is commonly seen with Baron Thorgo, a Necrarch vampire, who has been her necromantic tutor over the centuries.

Name: Baroness Emilie von Carstein

Berik Helft- Ademus's get, the vampire is still in the thrall stages and has little real power and acts as an assistant to Ademus’s experiments for the most part. She dotes on him like a child which he often complains about

Appearance:
Approximately 5”5, she appears to be 27 she has long black hair and is very pretty but due to her slightly hooked nose and harsh gaze she just misses out on beautiful, she is also lean rather than truly thin. Emilie usually wears aristocratic clothing whilst carrying a long thin blade and a chalice.

Mentality:
She shows complete companionship to Karl but will at times huff and complain like a child, she sometimes acts illogically although in most cases her actions are completely normal.
Karl fears for her mind, she has become less stable since he faked his death but for the most part seems ok although she will at times get ideas in her head and follow them, such as the killing of virgins to bath in their blood for eternal youth (which Karl promptly put an end to ensuring her that she wouldn’t age anyway).
She is often vain, petty and cruel to others whilst being utterly prideful and arrogant.
