Warhammer Fantasy Black Coach. I decided to just pin the roof and walls to make it a convertable so i could get some good pics of the coffin with the vampire. UNfortunately when i bought the model it was missing a couple of pieces. I was hoping to make new candlebras out of green stuff but ran out of time. Will add later.

Very nice and scary pool. I have worked on something similar as a large unit filler for my zombies. Also, the Black Coach... I am curently assembeling my own fine cast one. I have never been so frustrated with how contorted and with no other word how fucked up the mold is on the one I got. It is a nightmare to put together and I have been forced to make several modifications to it just to get all the pieces together. I almost wished I never bought it and just made one from scaratch with plassticards or something. :P

Thanks for the comments and compliments.
Summerfield - Thats really too bad about the finecast black coach. I have 2 pewter ones and assembly wasnt bad at all....nothing like getting that vintage Egrimm von Horstmann riding baudros assembled...soooooo frustrating!! Got pics of your similar scenery?
I currently have a cliffside crypt almost done for my VC army(and a bunch of non VC figs like the Keeper of Secrets almost done)

I once tried to put together the metal forest dragon, did not work at all, so I can imagen the paint of putting together Horstmann and Baudros :(. The zombie pool I have done is not with Envirotex though so it is not as awsome looking as yours. It is simply done on thin wood with some greenstuffing for boarders and a mix of red colors and thick glue. The transparancy you have is really cool. I am going to try and get my hands on some of that Envirotex stuff and experiment myself. :)

I cant say enough about envirotex lite. It is truely awesome. Hard as a rock and crazy durable. I have poured over 1/2" deep at one time and had no curing problems. I use windsor and newton inks for tinting and have had no problems. Ive made a few different projects using envirotec and its great....anyways gone fishing for a few days. Thanks again for the comments and i look forward to more when i get home!

Truth be told the BC is quite good and I like the blood lake as well, one thing I would say though is that it is a bit pale so it may need to be darkened down if you ever do it again even for just small puddles.
Either way mate keep up the good work.

Hey Duke
Thanks for the comments...so you figure the running blood down the pillars and pools should have been darker? I was really looking for the running blood to stand out alot from the rock pillars and to stand out from the colour of the water...in hindsight looking at it again i do feel it should have been darker especially in the water. If i can figure it out i would love to make ink clouds in the resin, but not sure if its possible...

ZOmbie Filler...this was one of the most fun ive ever had re-assembling a mini!! I told my wife we need to mount it on the dash of the car. ;)

I attempted to try a freehand banner on a tiny bit(which bit? cant recall) on this zombie..also used a WHFB Ghoul and arm in this one as he rises from the ground.

Had one more zombie but the inkwash was too glossy for the pic to take well.
Skellleton UNit Fillers...tried my first attempt at rusty weapons:

Thanks mad...yeah the TK was a bit of fun i had with some extra parts...this batch of fillers i tried to portray there was was a small part of living brain left in their skulls.
I didnt end up seeing your undead fillers until after i had made these, but now i have so many ideas for interesting things to try.

It's all looking so great. I've been getting things together to do some scenery too. You have some great ideas going on here. The one thing I noticed that I'm sure was not meant is the strand of hair on the one tomb king rising from the ground. That really creates a nice effect. I also love the color choice on the dire wolves, gives a really rotting idea.

Thanks for the comments wolfrahm...yeah i know that frigging hair. Once i get some more dullcote(ran out so that fig is not coated) i will get a better pic of that and some brighter pics of the other skeleton base.
I was super happy how the dire woves turned out. I have another 30 to paint still. The rotting flesh highlight turned out exactly how i wanted it.

As far as the zombie pool being pale... as blood sits, the plasma separates and sets on top so it would be much darker on the bottom than on the top. For me, it looks perfect.
I did not know that! I wish i could have gotten a cloudy effect where the blood rivers run in...i have a couple of ideas that might work. Pour a thin layer of and then a layer of resin half mixed with ink over the bloodlines then let cure(this is why i say might work...envirotec is self leveling so it might not work). Then the final pour and done...see what happens the next time i have it out.
