Tazmek escaped with Abhorash from the burning city of Lahmia taking with him his treasured Sword of Life and Death, later called sword of bone then the tomb blade. Distraught with the defeat Tazmek became obsessed with tactical plans and that with the right plan and strategy they could have won at the temple of Blood. His ideas became crazed and fanatical thinking that the undead would have made a better soldier choice, The living were weak and even as far as the extermination of the human race. Training in the arts of Necromancy Tazmek became stronger. Abhorash took the remaining vampires still following him including Walach and the Red Duke up North. It was there that was the founding of the blood dragons.
Tazmek knew that to succeed in his plans of destroying all living things he needed to become as strong as his master and be chosen to fight the great dragons. although on his travels he found dragon himself. But unlike the Royal Red dragon Abhorash fought this one was Jet Black with horns like a rams. Tazmek battled the beast and in the end retreated, he was defeated but now he found a purpose to his existence. He called this dragon Xeron the doomed. His goal was now to train and wage war till he was strong enough to defeat the dragon drain it of its blood and take on the Empire.

1 bound spell.

The Lord is good in combat and a still ok at magic. Im not sure weather I should take walking death on him or dread knight to increase his armour save. This is a fairly flexible fluffy army that I think needs a few tune ups and advice.

thanks in advice.

Well, first of all, and assuming I read your list right, why are you putting the General with 10 skeletons while the much less important hero-level gets 20, and a warbanner? Unless you're looking for your opponent to wipe out your General early on, I'd swap those up.

You also over-pointed the Necromancer. Assuming you only gave him one spell, he should cost only 90 points. Remember, the first spell he knows is free!

Now, back to the first comment I made. You've got 20 Grave Guard, why don't you put your general in with them? That's what I do, every game, and he's died a grand total of once out of 13 games now, and that one was after a long, hard-fought battle and he didn't drop 'till the end of turn 6, after taking out a unit of Black Orcs, a Giant, and making a unit of Biggunz run away. Plus, it's more fluffy to have the Lord with the Grave Guard.

hmmm doing that I'll have to get rid of the Tomb blade. so any replacements? blood drinker?

what about the whole "shoot me" sign over the grave guard with a BSB and a Lord. I wanted all my units to have combat potenial and supporting units to help. skellies get vamp, GG get wight king, and the lord can easily raise the 10 skellies into 20.

I was think of replacing the spirit host with a varghulf, what do you think?

Well as far as I see it your lord is in need of some better protection because 4+ AS and 5+ ward just wont cut it if you plan to have him doing some fighting. What I suggest is to drop walking dead on your lord and give him dreadknight. It mounts him thus giving him 1+ AS plus it looks damn cool to have a mounted general. He can still join infantry units.

Well about the matter with the spirit host I would switch them any day for the varghulf. Its an exellent flanker and it can hold a unit on its own for a turn or two until backup arrives due to regen.

I would also strongly consider a dispelscroll as these are always handy even when you have 6 DD. I even take 2.

Drop the musician for the zombies it wont do you any good as the zombies aren´t going to win any combats.

Anotherwise it looks like a great list. Hope it helps

I'd even debate making the skeletons 15/15. I'm sure they'll be close enough for your lord to raise in either and you'll survive a round of concentrated shooting this way (hopefully, 4 HE repeating bolt throwers are nasty).

Agreed your lord should have more protection. Dread Knight would be an excellent way to do this.

Unsure about the Tomb Blade. I've never thought it was that great... but people around here love hero hammer, so most lords are tooled up for character killing. So I pretty much have to do the same with a Vampire general.

I was thinking of Making a Lord on Zombie Dragon?

I would cut the varghulf and wight king for it and have the set up something like this?:

Tazmek, Black Dragon Lord 755
Lvl 3
Zombie Dragon
Dark Acolyte
Avatar of Death
Red Fury
Dread Lance
Crown of the Damned

he flys around with a 3+ armour save 4+ ward and 4(8) auto hit strength 7 attacks and 5 strength 6 attacks.

Tazmek, Black Dragon Lord 730
Lvl 3
Zombie Dragon
Red Fury
Inifinite Hatred
Walking Death
Balefire Spike
Walach's Bloody Hauberk
Black Periapt

or

Tazmek 605
Level 3
Abyssal Terror (dragon model)
Dark Acolyte
Avatar of Death
Red Fury
Dread Lance
Crown of the Damned
