Small wip update of some dryads just because... :Vampire1:

Is that a black & white photograph, or is it taken in your spray-box? (Or both?)

And what's the thing in the middle? A Dryad, obviously, emerging from a tree, but is it a unit filler or Treeman?


Anyhoo, I really think the Dryad 'nerf' has been blown out of all proportion by the interwebs. Maybe I'm biassed since I never had any interest in them, but they still look entirely serviceable from where this man sits.

@Minty: Both black and white photo, and black and white primer, in a spray box. Will post some coloured and bigger pics once I finish the unit.

The thing in the middle will work as both a unit filler and also as a branchwraith when needed. I think it will look pretty cool once finished. Converted from the SMOG 1888 forest witch miniature.

The dryads are still okay/fine, just not as good as they were. I would say they are roughly on par with ghouls in a VC army.

Nice unit and sweet fillers Some closeups would be nice And as far as I remember, dryads weren't this curvy - what are these? Ragingheroes witches or something else? Looks awesome nevertheless

@Borgnine: Thanks Close, they are raging heroes Mantis Warriors with some dryad bits added. Sorry about the photos, I am just using a tablet to take and post photos, not great. Maybe some more detail in these though I can try get some better/closer shots if anyone is interested.

Those are quite some hips on them...

I continue to love your unit fillers, though how you plan to get them into an army case is a question I'm powerless to answer.
