Of course I meant grey knights, the second worst army in 40k and also one of the coolest because of their awesome shiny armor and halberds.

Actually...Grey Knight Terminators, a Grand Master with mastercrafted forceweapon and psycannon, WITH a landraider. Can do some serious damage.
Put that on top of several squads of grey knights who pelt you with storm bolter..bolts. In addition, if they get in close combat with you then their nemesis weapons give them strength 6.
I'll tell you, it wasn't pretty to fight these guys.

Aye, they CAN do some damage, but in certain games, and especially against guard, they NEED normal transports like rhinos. Desperately. Not to mention they each cost an arm and a leg.

Enlighten me here as I never really explore the fluff of space marines (Hate them) but you have me intrigued ...Who are the Damned? Part of the Imperium?
I would think that to the Inquisition their very name would be a bright green glowing neon sign saying "TRAITORS! KILL US!". Blinking and flashing too..

They're the Legion of the Damned, once the...Fire Hawks chapter I believe. They were lost in the warp and now appear on battlefields at the last minute to save imperial forces when they thought they were doomed. The Inquisition would likely attempt to purge them if they could ever find out more about them, but even one of the most powerful psykers in the imperium (Tigurius) could not discern their nature before they disappeared right after saving him.
