Direwolves (I have 20-30 more to paint, but since I will be running them as Battleline for an ethereal army, they will get the ethereal paint scheme)

Black Knights (I probably have 40-50 of these guys left to do, as badly as they sucked in 2016 I just never got around to them, with changes in LoN they will definitely get some love soon)

Grave Guard, like many other models these received color schemes based on Mortarch they served. As you can tell most of the main line I modeled for Neferata and Mannfred, I have TK that I painted for Arkhan (they will just use rules from LoN for their mirrors)

Good to see you back! We can certainly use someone with your 'processing power' here xD Those red-armored grave guards are so much cool!

One thing though - can you resize your pics somehow? They are so big, they load very long and are not very comfortable to look at too, with all the scrolling.

Other than that, really nice to have you here :) Also, looking forward to that black coach ;)

Haha, for sure I can. It's the problem when you go from using a phone to an actual DSLR, I can size them down when I upload them to the site.

I paused on the BC while I think about color schemes, I have started doing another 5 BK's, this time trying my hand with cloaks.

I used Chaos Knights, stripped all the iconography down, stripped down the spikey bits/chains etc (unlike some in the past where I left them), and then added Empire heads, and Sanguinius' shoulder pads along with cloaks. I am pretty happy with how it is turning out, the cloaks could be better for sure (I used a base of Empire cloaks or banners with some GS conversion). Hopefully will get a pic posted of them soon.

Did I just read that right ... 40-50 more knights?

Great work recently mate. I second @Borgnine , great to see someone here knocking minis out left right & centre! I like what you've done with your wight kings - the first & third ones look totally different thanks to a nice conversion and a bit of paint :)

Haha, when I got started I raided eBay hard.... I picked up full armies of sprues/unpainted (and even some painted) from the first round of people being sickened by Sigmar/End Times on the cheap.

Which meant I had TONS of things to work with.

I probably have 20-25k points of Death and 5-10k points of Chaos (Khorne/Daemons/SoD)

And I spent less than $1500 total... Piecemeal I probably have $5,000-$8,000 worth of models

Well, finished the next 5 Blood Knights. Fairly pleased. Then while doing their bases I decided I needed more necros. But I don't have necros. What I do have is a ton of Slaughter Priests from when they were in WD for $4 a pop or w/e... we'll see what I come up with. Until then, here are the BKs.

Crazy awesome idea on that Strigoi, he even looks like a rock singer with that bone in his hand ;) And that black coach looks plenty opulent, very promising.

Thanks, I have painted my first Mourngul, Knight of Shrouds and another 5 Blood Knights. I'll throw some pics up soon. I am toying with the idea of making a 2 headed Zombie Dragon, converting the throne from the black dragon, and figuring out the mini to use for Prince V. I really want him to stand out from the other VLoZDs

Actually, first I will share my other army...

The one that isn't really getting worked on, but during Skirmish events and when Death was getting kicked, it rocked it.

That's a lot of Khorne forces! That angry red fits them so well :) That bloodthirster looks especially glorious, great job! Are you using your Black Knights as Chaos Knights sometimes? ;)

I haven't really done much with Mortal Khorne. I am building up the Daemon forces so I can have a force to roll with my brother for 40k, and as a second army for sigmar. I have a couple 1/2's of the start collecting box that I picked up dirt cheap, they are mostly assembled but never had the motivation to paint them.

I also have a couple more Bloodthirsters and Skarbrand waiting to be built/painted (been in the box about a year now) lol

Wow... Going to have to go back and re-read how I did some of the paint schemes... Cancer and two cross country (US) moves = I haven't touched a mini in almost 3 years. Looking forward to dusting off.
