...the problem with the blood keep banner is that it doesn't work in combat. This is the biggest use for Regen as it not only prevents wounds as you take them but means you lose the combat by less (or even win)...

I was playing againts HE and that tactless :swear: always casting irresistible force on doubles without misscasts was ripping my army to pieces while safely hiding in a position where i couldnt out flank him :mad2:
And with some banner and crown combo the HE always had lots of dice to throw about!

I would just like to note that referring to Teclis as "Tactless" is just plain awesome. You sir, are going to get some Zombies. Enjoy.

On Dire Wolves, right here.

They are quite valuable as redirectors. They're very fast and at only 40 points, they beat out even raised Zombies in throw-away value. I wouldn't completely dismiss Wolves as useless once you start the battle. Just don't expect that much out of them, and you won't be disappointed.

My friend who runs WoC uses his hounds in much the same way. He was once quoted as saying "hounds are the best unit I have so long as I dont ask them to kill something"
