as an (admittedly late) response to gree and disciple, im all for our boys meeting up. im planning on having my character go gallavanting around the western hemisphere on a wild goose chase for archeotech that doesnt really exist soon after the marine captain, the legendary warrior and the guv'nor have met up if ghouls ok with that? if not something suiably large will have to explode to distract me lol :P
 
Argh, I wanted to jump in thinking I would be the first to start a Tau character. Guess not. Never mind, a XV22 battlesuit character is acceptable Y/N?
 
unfortunatly ive rather underestimated the difficulty of the work im sposed to be doing for university, and its kinda taking up a lot of my thinking atm, so im not gonna be able to update my part as often as id hoped. will still try to get something regular done though.
 
Ok -well if you can reply back to my last post - Gree's character should have arrived by then, so we should be able to keep things going. If you have guidelines of thinks you would have your character do, we could post them when we do our posts, to keep your character involved as such, but not taking over him. Snake won't be hanging around the city for too long anyway.
 
I see nothing wrong with you using a Battlesuit charicter todd however the XV22 is still in testing and very rare only Shadowsun has one to my understanding
 
Alright, I intend to stage an uprising in one of the cities (once everyone has been introduced) before my characters begin their own push north. Is there anyone who would like to be involved in this rebellion?
 
In the meanwhile do we have anything on the PDF? I would like some more details on there appearance, training and look.

Also Azahul is the rebellion going to take place in the capital or another city?
 
Can everyone refrain from posting about the Necron structures (ie defences, number of troops, etc. So it may be best if no one ventured to the north until I make my post)? Tommorow I'll be making a post in regards to the Necrons as I seem to be the only Necron RPer :'(
 
Probably just a random city, unless we decide to call the capital by the name used in my character's speech (not sure if another name has been given for the capital yet). It's up to goulking I guess... if it's ok with him for it to be the capital then the capital it shall be :grin:

Edit: I'm happy with goulking's suggestion to have Van Dashtalt as the cultural centre of the planet, although not the actual capital (as Lenk's main base is there). Note that the Slaaneshi cultists will probably be successful in this attack (unless I can think of a really, really good way to enable my characters to move towards the pole despite losing. Running in terror towards Necrons not being a particularly smart thing to do, I've already discarded the option of fleeing north :P). I'll make a Supplementary thread in a few hours (so as not to clog up the main thread, which is basically turning into an Imperial Briefing room :D ) unless anyone has any objections.

Would you then like me to edit my latest post where I have my character moving in on a Necron outpost and instead have him be a bit further away still?

You could simply run towards the Necrons in hopes of getting revenge for a defeat. You could stage the rebellion as a mere distraction towards your true plans.

I personally like the last one, it fits Chaos well, sacfiricing it's pawns to conceal it's true plans.
