So it is written it the great scripts of Guinopolis, "And thou shalt enjoy a refreshing stout from irish hopps this day". Or in regular speak, the Patron God of Ireland and Master of the potato, Arthur Guiness, or that is to say his brewery is 250 years old now! He even poured his first pint at 17:59 (Or as we call it the moment of salvation)

I hope you'll join in the celebrations world wide - and down a pint to this king amongst men!

To Arthur!

No alcohol at all? I'm sure my liver is very envious of you sir ;) Ya know what, I'm gonna post up a picture later of my Pint! Because I'm sure a lot of you have no Idea what guiness is ;)

The Dark Lord Mr Fluffy, why are you mirrored? Are you from a parallel dimension? :|

Too bad I saw this at 12 minutes to midnight, a bit late for a beer here. :(

I'm with TDS on this one, although I've tried several times to enjoy it, I just haven't found it to be in my taste. Apparently I make a really funny face whenever I drink alcohol, which has lead to everybody glancing over at me when its time for the compulsory glass of champagne during festivities.

Nonetheless, anniversaries such as this one is never a bad thing. Skål! :D

Guinness is lovely, though I've never had the pleasure of a genuine hand-pulled cask pint, they only do the gassy keg stuff in english pubs. There are, however, many and varied Stout & Porter ales that are always my tipple of choice when they're on offer, which is to say not in any of the carling-peddling commercial boozers, whcih are a plague, and thus to be avoided.

DaY 12 of ARthurs day... MuZT keEp SelEbRatTing! SeeMz i"ve loost my cemera, mHY cOucH 8 it :D
Heh, that was a fun Arthur's day :) As an Irish person, I've got about 20% Guiness flowing through my veins as is. If there were alcoholic vampires, I'd be so dead by now...

I'm not much of a Guy for Beers, myself....Beer just doesn't agree with me. Nor does Ale, or any other kind of Hops/Grain induced alcohol.

I like Wines and Rum. So I'll belatedly lift a glass for this occasion. Never too late to join in, eh?

I have to thank ye, Mr Fluffy, for had I not read this post last Saturday, whilst preparing to go on a pub crawl with several hundred rowdy punks, I would have had no idea what one random punk meant when he came up and wished me a 'happy Arthur's day'. Although, I must admit, neither of us drank a Guiness at all that day........ [/shame]
