50% done, the other half needs base-design, estimate to finish next week.

@graveguard:
will be done in a stone-look with ghostly-glowing weapons. I was inspirated by the undead graveguard of the darkblade-novel, when malus tried to steal the dagger of a dead prince out of his tomb. two will be done as half animated "living guards", the rest will be ivy-decorated stone :grave:.

@wraiths:

the first one you've seen: a Dryad from tales of war, I'm playing with the idea of doing the rest from witchelves.

I'm loving the ethereal colours on the skellies, I'd love to hear how you did it. It's just what I need for my spirit hosts.

(Note: I'm using Revell colours...they have more BANG!)

1. Undercoat with dark green
2. Drybrushing with a bright green
3. Drybrushing with a light green
4. Highlighting with both green colours as you like
5. Wash with Thraka Green

Superb work. The paintjobs are what are really making them stand out as undead, especially the GG. The detail on your characters are nicely done as well. Impressed so far

Cool that you used the old Black Guard models as GG. For old models they aren't that bad looking but I never use them anymore...maybe I should.

I really like some of the older stuff more than the new ones...because they are much more heavy-looking. Also they fit very well in a "dark" elfish theme.

Really nice. you really pulled off the ethereal effect on the skellies.

The characters look great, I especially like the face you've got going there. It looks menacing when you can only see the face in the helmet like that. Good work!

I liked the alternative for the lord better frankly, I think its because he's got a cooler pose. Love the pointing pose!
