It is Geheimnisnacht! -- The Night of Mysteries! Morrslieb and Mannslieb tower full and bloated in the night sky. Somewhere in the Old World, beneath an old hanging tree, a novice necromancer plies his foul trade, calling forth to the eager dead -- already restless from the pull of Morrslieb -- to rise once more and serve his Strigoi master as pawns in the endless ploys that haunt the labyrinthian mind of the savage ghoul king.

I'll be using this as zombie filler with the rank and file surrounding it still half rising from the mud. I'm not much of a painter (when compared to the members of this forum), but I like simple and gritty and (with another wash or two on my pumpkins) I'm pleased with how it came out.

Happy Halloween, you ghouls!
