Sire: N/A
Place of Birth: The Pale tower

Description
About 5"6-5"7 and thin with only a small amount of athletic muscle. She has dark brown hair and very pale skin. Whilst beautiful her hair is uncared for and cut roughly but she is still incredibly clean. She wears a plain black uniform which is cared for and kept clean to a high degree.

Equipment
Unknown

Brief History
Created in experiments by V'azrin she is technically alive yet possess the blood of V'azrin. She is quite young but her upbringing has been rather odd leading her to be a very strange being.

Pro's
Magic-Holding the blood of the Necrarchs she is far stronger than the average human, but not as strong as the true vampires.
Strong-Stronger than you're average human she could match the strength of the youngest vampires of the lowest generations to some degree but is no match for those with any true vampiric power.
Fighting-She fights in an hand-to-hand fighting style incorporating great mobility and quick-fire spells.
Lore of Life-She has learnt this lore were her father failed.

Con's
Poor upbringing-She has been treated harshly and as such has a very quiet and submissive nature.
Loyalty-She is blind to her "fathers" true personality and has complete loyalty and even love towards him.
Odd-Being raised by a Necrarch has caused her to lack many of the base human emotions, she as such can not function properly amongst humans.

Geralt of Rivia

Full Name: Geralt
Associated Names: The White Wolf(not to be confused with the Knightly Order of the same name), The Gray Wolf
Age: 100+
Bloodline: -NA-
Sire: -NA-

Description
He has the physical profile of a soldier in his late twenties. He has an oddly pale complexion, grey-white hair, eyes the color of flint, and a long scar running down one side of his face.

Equipment
Witcher armour: an exotic form of composite armor intended to provide as much protection as possible while not limiting the wearer's mobility. The armor does not protect the lower arms, legs and head, however. His personal set has magical dampening capabilities
Moonfang: a magical sword of Elf origin made entirely out of silver. It is finely balanced, unnaturally keen, and burns with the power of the goddess Lileath. This power grows especially strong at night and moonlight causes the sword itself to emanate pale eldritch flames. Those it strikes are smote by its divine power, which amongst other things stop the remarkable regenerative capabilities of Trolls and other such monsters. It is particularly effective at slaying the undead and those bearing the touch of Chaos(like Beastmen, Daemons, and Skaven), but loses much of its killing power against ordinary mortals.
Mahamakan Rune Sihill: It is a powerful runeblade made by the Dwarves and a relic of the early days of the Empire. It carves through flesh and armor like a hot knife through butter and is brutally effective at slaying ordinary flesh and blood creatures. Against those of supernatural origin or powers however, it loses its effectiveness.
Geralt also carries various witcher potions about himself. These are used to enhance his capabilities, but only a few can be consumed in a short span of time or he will die of poisoning, due to their high toxicity. They have also never been tested on anyone else other than the witchers, so are not guranteed to work with them.

History
The order of Witchers were created by a splinter faction of Imperial Witch Hunters, who saw the clear superiority in individual combat prowess of the Warriors of Chaos as compared to their Old World counterparts, and wished to turn that kind of strength for the cause of good. In collusion with renegade Elf sages and alchemists, the radicals eventually suceeded in creating a new breed of warrior, though the process was not without inadvertently creating dangerous monstrosities as well.
These warriors are possessed of unusually long life spans, more than double that of a normal man(though they are still not as long lived as an Elf or Dwarf), have combat prowess well beyond that of even the most experienced Greatswords, are given specialist training in hunting down and slaying monsters, and even possess limited spellcraft. They are called 'witchers' or 'hexers' to differentiate between the ordinary Witch Hunters sent by the various churches of the Empire, and these unusual sellswords. The witchers roam the lands, ridding the countryside of monsters in exchange for payment, although folk whisper behind their back that the witchers themselves are not quite human. To become one is no mean feat, as not only do the witchers only accept those with few worldly ties, the induction trials(which involves quantities of wyrdroot, warpstone and various reagents) kills off all but the toughest and most compatible.
Geralt of Rivia is perhaps the most famous of the witchers. He started off as an ordinary child in Ostland, but survived the harrowing initiation of the witchers to join their ranks. Honing his trade on killing the abominations that his own order created during their experiments, he wound up carving a reputation for himself and his order over the years, and is known throughout several states of the Empire. While witchers can be considered to be tainted by Chaos, and those who helped create them to be dangerous heretics, the Churches, as well as the higher government and the Knightly Orders turn a blind eye to their existence and deeds. This is due in no small part to Geralt's contributions. Considering some of his equipment it is likely he even has the tacit goodwill of the High Elves.

Pros
Slayer - Witchers are specialists at slaying monsters like Trolls, Wyverns, Ogres and even lesser Vampires. Typical threats can be taken down by a group of novice witchers working in unison, or a single master witcher like Geralt. The White Wolf is a veteran of his profession, and has survived numerous attempts by his erstwhile employers to kill him(and hence not need to pay), so his experience also extends to dealing with and killing mortals.
Battle Mage - All Witchers use 'Signs', a form of safe, fairly low-powered magic that are very quick to use. Because each spell will only take a few moments at most they are very difficult to dispel(surprise factor). Geralt uses this to complement his blades and can use his Signs even between individual blows.
Sixth Sense - Geralt seems to have developed a finely tuned sixth sense which makes him extremely hard to blindside. He can parry surprise attacks from behind simply because 'I had a bad feeling about this'.
Field Alchemist - Geralt is practiced at creating his potions without needing any alchemical equipment. Just a fireplace would do(which conveniently provides him somewhere warm to rest as well).
Witcher potions - An assortment of potions that are mostly highly toxic, but are used to boost his fighting capabilities in various ways. They can temporarily grant, amongst other things, superhuman reflexes, the keen senses of a Vampire, and the resilience and magic resistance of a Stone Troll. A wise witcher will brew and drink the right mix of potions before combat, allowing him to defeat foes previously beyond his ken.
Not A Vampire - Geralt does not have any of the classic weaknesses of Vampires, and will probably laugh in the face of anyone trying to use holy water on him.
Essence of the Wolverine - Geralt becomes stronger, faster and tougher when fighting at night in the moonlight. His face(particularly his jaw) will also begin to take on a wolf-like aspect. This effect(including the change in appearance) is especially strong in the presence of a full moon.
Hunter - Geralt's job scope includes finding, tracking down and getting to his prey(preferably undetected to make the job easier). While not an assassin or stealth specialist, he is adept at tracking foes through practically any kind of terrain as well as moving about unseen and unnoticed. Essentially, he has had a lot of practice to hone his huntsman's skills.

Cons
Young One(relatively speaking) - While Geralt's enhanced physique gives him physical capabilities on par with battle-hardened Chaos Warriors and lesser vampires he is nowhere near as old and experienced as the elder vampires, and cannot match their speed, strength, skill, magic abilities, etc without using his potions.
Ladies' Man - Geralt has said tendencies. He is also reckless when it comes to bedding the ladies, because all witchers are infertile.
Tainted - The assertion of commoners that witchers are 'unwholesome', 'tainted' etc are in fact true. Witchers are actually mutants created through a crude form of genetic engineering and tampering with the forces of raw magic. This brings him closer to the forces of Chaos than anyone (including Geralt himself) would like.
Not A General - Geralt has neither the experience nor the knowledge in leading an army. He is used to working either alone or with a band of capable allies.

RE: TVC - Character Bios

Dragos

Full Name: Dragos Von Schatten
Associated Names: The Black
Age: 1085
Bloodline: Blood Dragon
Sire: The Red Duke
Place of Birth: Bretonnia

Description
Height: 6'4
Build: Slender but muscular
Eyes: Red
Hair: Long and white
His is the visage of a bloody and brutal death. He stands, shod in the blackest of armor, drinking in the silver luster of the moon and reflecting naught but a foreboding resonance of bitter hatred. The trim of his hauberk, while once may have been luminous and alive with the argent, iridescent smile of mithril, now grins maliciously, encrusted with rust and old blood. Crooked beneath a plated left arm rests his helm, the sinister countenance of an ebony wrought skull, fibred with steepled, skeletal finger bones hewn of the darkest iron, seethes with a lust to taste the ebbing pulses of countless, chilling corpses. His face, a stark contrast to his maleficent armor, is wreathed in long, sallow, spindly locks that hang lifelessly from his pallid scalp. His sharp, gaunt features seem eternally contorted in the hatred he so willingly shares with his victims and his burning, red eyes gleam with a life as cursed as those unfortunate enough to see them.

Equipment
Heavily ornamented plate mail
Wraithtear - Wraithtear was the greatsword of a Slaaneshi Champion under the banner of Vardek Crom that Dragos bested in single combat during the recent Chaos incursion into Sylvania. After the battle's conclusion, both body and blade were pulled into the chambers of Dragos' necromancers, where they used the soul of the north man to bind the daemon weapon to the vampire's will. Wraithtear is a bastard sword that, when used by Dragos, makes him a faster and more deadly opponent. The blade will supplement the already deadly warrior's skill with its own foul magic, seeking the most painful places to inflict injury, that it might sing with the pleasure of its victim's agony.
When not training or in battle, which tends to be very rarely, Dragos lets his anger abate to enjoy his immortality. He has been known to be well versed in the history of the world and enjoys reading of places he has not had the chance to travel. He has a particular affinity for young, red haired women and will not harm them, for some unknown reason.

Brief History
Once an avid pupil of The Red Duke, Dragos lived the hard life of a soldier, pushing, in the name of honor, from battle to battle, holding tight the reigns of his hunger to maintain his claim at glory. In life, he was Bretonnian nobility, a Questing Knight in search of his fortune. He rode with the Duke of Aquitaine during the crusades that turned the lord into a vampire and swore his fealty to the creature when he turned. Believed slain with his lord at Aquitaine, Dragos slept for centuries. When the Red Duke returned, however, Dragos rode at his right hand.
The second defeat of his lord both enraged and destroyed Dragos. He broke his oaths of allegiance, believing his master to be a fraud and a weakling. Upon escaping that final battle, Dragos swore to serve only himself and the pursuit of strength and power. He threw himself into the study of the Blood Dragon line and that of their founder, Abhorash. Valuing martial prowess above all things, he came to venerate Abhorash as a messiah of blood and war, the pinnacle of vampiric accomplishment. He began to train, obsessively, for the day when he might rival the legend of the first Blood Dragon, retreating into seclusion deep within the Hunger Wood of Sylvania. There, he built himself a lair beneath the twisted trees, a labyrinth, riddled with pitfalls, traps, and all manner of summoned beasts and daemons upon which he could practice his skill in battle. When Vlad Von Carstein made war with the Empire, Dragos joined him. When Konrad raged across Sylvania, so too did Dragos ride, and when Mannfred failed, Dragos endured. He is a warrior without peer and a necromancer of no limited skill. He keeps his lair peopled with any number of vicious daemons and barbarous beasts, summoned forth or captured by his servants. His reputation has been earned in centuries of warfare, where his bloodlust dances unbridled with his fathomless rage and few are the battles where his pale flesh and dark armor are not bathed in the hot blood of his enemies.

The Labyrinth Sanguinary:
Set below the gnarled trees of the Hunger Wood, the Labyrinth Sanguinary covers an unknown span of subterranean acreage, though some say there is an exit buried somewhere within the ruins of Dread Mordheim and another somewhere in the Vale of Darkness. Those that find themselves within generally belong to one of two demographics, servants and training meat, the latter ranging from scores of bloodletters to huddled hordes of frightened villagers, with little more than sticks and rocks to use as makeshift weaponry. The labyrinth itself is rife with explosives, pitfalls, pendulum traps, hidden crossbows, acid flasks, spinning blades, and a menagerie of other, stranger death traps; and while the original maze was planned and constructed by Dragos and his slaves, the myriad enchantments and hexes on the passageways have left it an ever changing, blood drenched complex of insanity and peril.

Pro's
Warrior of Ages - Dragos knows how to kill and how to survive the tumultuous maelstrom of combat. He trains incessantly and to him, every battle is a training exercise as he awaits the day when he will fight his own dragon, wrestle it to the ground, and drain it dry. He spits at those still loyal to the Red Duke and chuckles at the self important Blood Dragons, confident in his own abilities. Abhorash forged his own way and so will Dragos.

Con's
Rage: Centuries of defeat and straining under the yoke of the incompetent have made Dragos is dangerously easy to anger. He views most with an arrogant disdain and revels in his power. Anything that would dare threaten that power is received with brutal hostility. He will not foolishly jump into combat against an impossible opponent, but once one has made an enemy of Dragos the Black, he is an enemy unto death.
Lady in Red: There is a popular ghost story in Bretonia regarding a young Lord of the Manor on his wedding day. He ruled over a small hamlet on the coast. Legend has it that his mentor, an accomplished Bretonian Knight, gave the Lord his daughter's hand in marriage, only to betray they both for his hidden masters, the Ruinous Powers, killing the Lord after selling his own daughter to the Druuchi flesh market. It is said that the Lord returned from the grave and enacted a terrible vengeance on his former mentor. No one knows the truth of any of it, but the tale coincides, loosely, with the time when young Lord Dragos Von Schatten left to crusade alongside the Duke of Aquitaine. The knight's daughter was said to have fiery red hair and to this day, Dragos the Black will not so much as scratch a red haired woman.
Mediocre Necromancer - Dragos has studied the gift of Vampirism for centuries, honing his knowledge as well as his fighting skill, though his necromantic wisdom is dwarfed by his martial prowess and easily outmatched by more reclusive and studious vampires, which is something he seeks to remedy. (The focus has always been more on combat than spell casting, though he does study Necromancy when allowing himself respite from his training.)

Christophé von Carstein

Full Name: Christophé von Carstein
Associated Names: N/A
Age: 390
Bloodline: von Carstein
Sire: Mannfred von Carstein
Place of Birth: Praag

Description
Christophé was at a mortal age of 30 when sired into vampirism by Mannfred von Carstein. So Christophe still has many features of a young man, (Picture Richard Roxburgh who plays Dracula in Van Helsing) Cunning, Short Temper, can only be calmed down by Leonora, 6ft tall, Excellent Swordman, Necromancer and Tactician.

Equipment
Black Skull Staff: This was forged for him by the Sorceresses of Naggorath, it has the magic ability that starts to take over his enemies thoughts driving them slowly insane before they finally burn into little more than a pile of black ash with a Blackened Skull remaining.
Chillblade: Also of Dark Elf origin however has a very different power to that of his staff as it Freezes and paralyzes his enemies so that he may deliver the final killing blow.
Armour:When he rides into battle atop his barded warhorse he wears black and red armour tainted in the powers of Khorne God of Chaos as his family is infamous for their Chaos Worshipping ways. However he always carries a shield as protection as a vampire can never tell when an enemy might strike.

Brief History
He was originally a Minor Noble from Praag in Kislev. His family is infamous for worshipping the Chaos god of war Khorne and bears a small tattoo of the mark on the back of his neck making him have to cover it every time he wishes to venture into the heart of the Empire. Sired into Vampirism for his Military Genius and for his ability to learn magic one of the few Khorne followers who dare experiment with it. When Mannfred was slain he feld to Naggorath as he felt Slyvania would not be safe enough for long. There he fell in love with Leonora a Dark Elf Sorceress with beauty to rival Neferata and a blood lust to rival Konrad. When rumours grew of a vampire claiming himself Count of Slyvania. Christophe and Leonra returned to Slyvania to claim what he believed should now be rightfully his. However upon Christophes return to Drakenhof Castle when he came face to face with this new Count it was no new count at all. Christophe bowed down before the count swearing his allegiance. Swearing is allegiance to Mannfred.

Pro's
Military Tactical Genius.
Experienced Fighter during Mannfred’s Winter Campaign against the Empire and on raids with the Dark Elves to the land of Ulthuan.
Master Necromancer

Con's
Confident and Arrogant.
Love and passion for Leonora proves a distraction and he is willing to die if it means saving her

Leonora

Full Name: Leonora von Carstein
Associated Names: Druchii Vampire, The Elven One, Dark Elf
Age: 150 Years
Bloodline: Von Carstein
Sire: Christophe von Carstein
Place of Birth: Karond Kar

Description
A stunningly beautiful Dark Elf, long lush black hair. Slim, big breasted (but not ridiculously big). Darker skin colour to other Vampires (tint of grey rather than pale white). She is very cunning, and has the capability to deceive anyone or anything. Passionate, full of lust, seductive, loyal to Christophe until death.

Equipment
Hydra Staff: A magical artefact that is capable of taping into all winds of magic to give her extra power.
Silver Sword: It burns the wound of all those wounded by it.
Baby Black Dragon named Shadow – fire attacks, sharp claws, scaly skin

Brief History
One of Malekiths top Sorceresses, and considered to be very cold hearted even amongst Dark Elf society. When Christophe arrived in Naggaroth she became very intrigued by him and his kind and lusted for his power of strength and magic capability. Seeing this opportunity to increase her power and control over others she stuck by Christophe and taught him necromancy and sorceries darkest secrets. Although slowly over time and much pillow talk she fell for Christophe for who he was and not what he was. She begged and pleaded for Christophe to turn her despite the risks involved and eventually 240 years ago he succumbed to her wishes and shared the blood kiss and she remains the only creature to ever be sired by Christophe von Carstein into Vampirism. When the rumour grew of a new Vampire Count ruling over Slyvania she went with Christophe as she now did not wish to leave his side and to this day remains loyal to Christophe and so in turn to Mannfred.

Pros
One of the most powerful sorceresses to come from the land of Naggorath.
Seductive.

Cons
Her loyalty to Christophe sometimes clouds her judgement.
Power hungry.
Deceiving.

Bio 4

Right, here's my attempt at creating a character. Now I'm not much for mindbreaking originality, so it'll simply be the one that I keep raving on and on about, heheh.

Lady Helena [Hellenna]
Age: 11 as a human, about 300 as a vampire, approximately 70-80 years as a spirit-anomaly. (Which basically means that she is a ghost with an independent mind and the ability to act upon her own will, instead of being bound to the world through some unfinished deed or traumatic memory)
Sire: Unknown rogue vampire.
Height: About 4'6.
Appearance: Helena have the general shape and appearance of a female child, resembling herself from before she was turned into a vampire, as her memory of herself would make the drain on her attention lighter. Long hair, wearing a typical civilian dress. I'll just link you to This Picture instead, as that is how I want her to look like. The picture doesn't show her vibrant yellow-green Eyes. As befitting her ghostly nature she emits a illuminatingly bright white sheen when she's in corporeal form. She carries no equipment other than various items of energy focus.

History: Helena lived her vampiric unlife as a recluse in one of the major towns of the Empire, keeping to herself inside her dark abode, a tall house invisible to the eyes of the city's inhabitants. There she lived a passive life in the shadows, remaining out of the conflicts that arose every now and then around her until one fateful night when her presence was detected by a fellow vampire bent on total destruction. Following a brief but violent struggle against this bestial intruder, Helena was destroyed and her house burnt to the ground. Through some unknown and unnatural means however, the house simply reappeared one moonlit night with its mistress stirring inside of it once more, though this time in an ethereal state. Despite having only little memory of her former (un)life, Helena could clearly remember the eve of her destruction and decided to play a more active role in the outside world to make sure that her peace would not be so brutally disturbed again.

Personality: Reserved and level headed. Becomes a bit more talkative around allies. Wary of rushing into disadvantageous situations, she is the kind to think carefully before acting in any substantial way. Responds to threats and intimidation with coldly indifferent replies. Dislikes physical conflict, usually resorting to magic as her way of combat.

Strengths:Helena is ethereal and as such quite difficult to cause any real harm to. Spells and magical weapons can still hurt her but her own magical powers give her some resistance to this. When outside of her home, she usually keeps a few assorted items from her house with her, often concealed. These items radiate the mysterious energy that keeps her body and spirit to the material world and allows her to travel to far and distant lands if she needs to. For as long as the energy from these items are present she is very hard to get rid off or away from. She may also travel quickly over long distances as she is able to dissolve her corporeal body into a mist-like state.

Helena is also attuned to the existence of fellow ghosts and spirits in the world, able to commune with these with great ease compared to the conventional wizard. Her piercing eyes are also capable of sucking the essence out of a victim, much like the screams and wailing of a tomb banshee.

Weaknesses: Since her transformation from vampire to a spirit-being, she has lost many of the abilities and powers that are bestowed upon the lords of the dead. She has lost the physical power and natural affinity for magic that other vampires hold but thanks her centuries spent as one, her magical powers and knowledge are still considerable. Also, if the personal items from her house are destroyed or otherwise removed, the energy holding her to the material plane will quickly dissipate. She will then simply fade from existence and reappear in her house some time later.
---------------------

Wow, that became a bit longer than I had anticipated.. sorry!

I'm not quite sure of her possible motives for this storyline. I/we should be able to come up with something. I hope she's not too strange and/or boring to fit in.

Again, sorry for the lengthy introduction. I really couldn't help myself, heheh.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Alright! here he is. I decided to scrap the "Skaven Vampire" idea. One skaven vampire is a novelty. two is a cliche. At least IMO.

((edit: Sorry for the double post))

Momus: The bastard, “the luckiest damn vampire”

Age: 215

Sire: Maatmeses

Appearance: Momus does not possess a particularly striking appearance. His hair is dull brown. He is average height, average build, in fact, the only thing not average about him are his eyes which are a striking light blue, bordering on gray.

Bloodline: unknown minor.

Height: 5’6
Weight: 253 lbs.

Equipment: Momus usually carries a pair of swords. He also always carries a pair of dice on his person, which he regards as a good luck charm.

Brief history:
Although Momus was not his true name, he no longer uses it. Indeed, it is said that he no longer remembers it.
Momus was once the bastard son of a wealthy Tilean noble. At the age of 19, he was bundled off on one of the many merchant caravans to cathay. It was something that Tilean nobles usually did with their bastards. He, along with the caravan, disappeared somewhere along the dangerous route, nothing out of the ordinary, the road east was dangerous. Many caravans fell prey to some hobgoblin khan, or went afoul of an ogre tyrant. It was not a great tragedy, nor even cause for sadness for his family, as he was just bastard-born, nothing more.
Ordinarily this is where his tale would have ended, one more faceless, nameless casualty in the name of wealth. However, this is not where it ended.
His caravan had been attacked by hobgoblin raiders, and, as usual when this happened, had been destroyed. Momus was able to escape, just barely.
For several days he stumbled across the desolate steppes. He had no water, no food, and had been wounded during the ambush.
It is not known why the vampire that had found him decided to give him the blood kiss. Perhaps it was sheer luck, perhaps merely on the whim of his sire. Whatever the case, Momus woke into undeath alone, with only the name of his sire to remember Maatmeses. Unfortunately, only shattered remnant of his memories remained.
For the past two centuries, he has been trying to piece together exactly who he was, and who his sire was. It has become something of an obsession for him. He has had little success with the latter.
Pros: Resilient, determined, fast and damned lucky. Momus possesses an almost abnormal humanity.

Cons: sometimes too determined, almost to the point of idiocy. More than a little deranged at times. In recent decades he has begun to lose touch with the part of him that is still human.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Hello :) I know I'm a...well, VERY new member, but I am very interested in this RP and I would like to join. I have RP in several other RPs before now and I hope that I will have fun with this one.
Here is my character:

Count Erich Von Strauss

Full Name: Erick Von Strauss
Associated Names: The Blue Prince
Age: 207
Bloodline: Necrarch
Sire: Gregori Voda
Place of Birth: Toravon, Wallachia, Boarder Princes

Description: Count Erick normally appears as a pale, thin 14 year old boy with brown hair that is usually shoulder length and brown eyes. However, when his bloodlust or his temper gets the better of him, the Count's false veneer of humanity drops and he becomes a tall, disheveled corpse.

Equipment:
The Soul Stealer: Erich found this sword in a crypt near the Empire. The sword has the disturbing ability to drain the life force of its victims which can be used to heal Von Strauss are any one close to him.
The Amulet of Morrslieb: this amulet shaped like the chaos moon glows in a similar fashion. It is a potent ward against harm and provides a well of energy that can be used to speed Count Von Strauss's movements temporarily.

Brief History: Erich Von Stauss was the son of the Count of Wallachia, an area of the boarder princes that had been controlled by his family since the time of his great grandfather, a rumored cousin of the famous Walach Harkon (though no evidence exists to prove this claim). Erich was the only child of the then Count and was set to inherit Wallachia, however, the machinations of a vampire named Gregori Voda almost deprived the young heir of his inheritance.
Several weeks after Von Strauss's 14th birthday, he started to grow very pale and sickly. His father was greatly concerned over his sons health, for if he should die then he would have no one it take his place. Then, one dark night, a stranger named Gregori Voda came to the Count and said claimed he could heal his son, however, the stranger would only do this if the Count made him regint of all his lands. Desperate for any help that could be had, the count agreed.
That night, Erich Von Strauss was indeed cured of his ailment, and all others of mortal flesh. Incidentally, his parents where found dead that very night, apparently struck down by some unforeseen malady. Gregori Voda was now legally the ruler of Wallachia, at least until Erick Von Strauss was old enough to inherit the title of Count, something that would never happen thanks to his transformation into one of the undead.
It did not take much effort for Von Strauss to reason that Gregori was had killed his parents to steal his inheritance, but Erick did not strike him down while he slept, instead he held his temper and learned from the vampire about Necromancy and the ways to summon creatures of the night. Likewise, it did not take long for the people of Wallachia to realise that Gregori was a vampire when people where found dead, their throats ripped open, or worse...
Finally, after two years of Gregori's rule, Erick acted against his master and took revenge for his parents death. He told the peasants where Gregori slept during the day and left them the key to his crypt. During the day, the peasants dragged Gregori's coffin outside where they destroyed him.
Erick was finally Count Erick Von Strauss, and the peasants, gratefull to him for having given them their revenge, decided to over look the fact their Count was not technically alive. Count Von Strauss continues to rule Wallachia in the Boarder Princes almost 200 years after his birth.

Pro's: Count Von Strauss is a balanced vampire, able to hold his own in a duel and cast some magic when he needs to and can be usefull in almost any situation.
There is one area that the Count has a great deal of experience in and that is Politics. The Count is a cunning opponent in any political arena and knows how to manipulate people.

Con's: Count Von Strauss considers himself a gentlemen, therefore he considers surprise attacks, back stabbing and cheating to be beneath him. (unless of course it has to do with politics!) Also, the Count has problems with hurting women and will usually refrain from physical conflict with a female.
Also, while the Count is a balanced fighter, he is not spectacular at any one area. A Blood Dragon vampire will most likely kill him a duel while a Vampire that has spent its entire unlife learning necromancy will best him at magic. This means the Count will not be able to face these opponents alone, or at least on their own terms.

Thanks :)

Full Name: Akarin Von Carstein
Associated Names: The Shadowed Advisor. Counts Assassin. The trickster.
Age: 613 (Sired in 1909)
Bloodline: Von Carstein
Sire: Fitz Von Carstein
Place of Birth: Sylvania

Description
Standing at about 5”10 foot and with a slim build Akarin is not the most frightening figure in the ranks of the von Carsteins. A pretty, perhaps even handsome man, he has long black hair which is spiked slightly and the fringe hangs over his left eye. He is often garbed in the nobleman’s guise of the empire or in plain black hooded garments. He looks to be about twenty five or twenty six years of age and when he speaks the slightly cultured accent of a Sylvania nobleman can be heard. One odd feature of his appearance is his eyes, the left one being as black as his hair whilst the right is eternally crimson.
In battle he will often try to get the jump on his enemies and kill them as quickly and silently as possible. When a fight on more equal terms is required the vampire often fights with two short swords, moving at supernatural speeds even beyond most vampires. He is also quite capable of using magic if the situation requires it-A medium to short range fighter.
However his most unique ability is his vampiric hypnosis, which is quite useful against mortal and immortal alike. It requires eye contact and differs dependant on the sitation, his left eye alone is potent enough but when the strongest of illusions must be used he is required to get eye contact with both eyes.
Personality wise the vampire is quite laid back in general and is usually friendly towards others whilst acting playful however in less friendly situations the duality of his personality becomes evident and he acts very cold and even arrogant.

Equipment
The blades of Day and Night-Each blade bears a different blessing, the blade of day is potent against the undead whilst the blade of night inflicts greater damage on the living. However even without their enchantments both swords are well crafted.
Drakenhof’s Shadow- A Cloak that makes moving quietly all the more easier for the wearer.
Throwing Knives and other tools of his shadowy trade.

Brief History
Akarin Von Carstein was born Akarin Von Haulf, a minor noble of Sylvania. He was the second son of his family and as such was never expected to inherit much, instead his father raised him for a specific purpose-To Kill His Political Enemies. For many years Akarin did this and grew better as he did, he had no wish for the responsibilities of being a noble and was happy in his place. At the age of 22 he killed a nobleman who possessed tomes of forbidden knowledge. Without telling anyone he took these texts and studied them in secret. For the next few years he learnt some basic Necromancy and continued to increase his killing skills. At the age of 26, in 1909, his father set him another target, a powerful noble by the name of Vlad Von Carstein.
For the first time Akarin failed in his mission, he was caught by a man called Fritz Von Carstein. However this was a lucky turn, impressed by the mortal assassin and made him into one of the living dead.
Over his many years Akarin has achieved many things, one of the greatest of which is training and leading small groups of vampiric assassins out against the counts enemies. He has always served the Counts of Sylvannia, although the time of Konrad was turbelent.

Pro's
Stealth is Akarins greatest asset as he can move silently in almost any situation.
Akkarins speed is greater than even many Lahmians which makes him perhaps the quickest of all the living Von Carsteins.
A great fighter that relies on tricks makes Akarin quiet dangerous.
Trained in magic that will help him in his duty as an assassin.
Trained in unarmed combat.
Underestimated-Due to his light and laid back personality he is often overlooked as being a fool.
He is also skilled in the arts of deception.
Master of Illusions- Although not true magic his vampiric hypnosis is quite potent and can trap the victims in their own mind.

Con's
Lacks the true versatility of a real wizard.
Physically weaker than most other vampiric fighters, such as blood knights or even other fighter-trained Von Carsteins.
Doesn’t wear armour which leaves him very unprotected.
Not Ambitious-As a high assassin to the count of Sylvania, Akarin is quiet happy with his lot in life and is very unlikely to ever try and rebel against his masters.
High Birth-Despite his training Akarin is a noble, and never forgets this. As such he is prideful, naturally arrogant and believes himself better than those of peasant origins.
Whilst he is trained in management and tactics he lacks any real experience in leading large armed forces.

Full Name: Silibar
Associated Names: Fox, The Grinning Shadow, Assassins Lieutenant.
Age: Unknown
Bloodline: Von Carstein
Sire: Unknown
Place of Birth: Sylvania (Presumed)

Description
Silibar is about 6"1 feet in height and is extremly thin giving him an almost skeletal appearance, he looks about thirty years old perhaps abit older. His facial expression is most odd, he wears a contant grin and his eyes are narrowed to slits, one the rare occassions when his eyes are open it is said they are blood red in colour. His hair is slightly shorter than shoulder length and is silver. He often wears a strange white robe (believed to be from Cathay), he usually has his hands pulled up under the sleeves.

Personality:
A constantly smiling figure few feel comfortable around Silibar, he speaks in a polite fashion but usually with tones of mocking and sarcasm. He acts almost foolish at times even when faced with his powerful masters. He usually appears quite kind although anyone who listens to him for long knows this is an act of some sort.

Equipment
Shadows Slip-A short, slightly curved blade. Despite being quite thin it is rather strong, believed to be of Cathay Origins.

Brief History
Very little is known of Silibar, he appeared out of nowhere during the reign of Vlad and was constantly under the control of Akarin. He seems to have something to do with the assassins that Akarin trained, most likely his second in command.
Due to the items he possesses it is believed he, at one stage, visited Cathay.

Abilities
His fighting strength is generally unknown, the only time he has been seen in combat was when Konrad attacked him for being "mocking". Konrad however was unable to land a single blow on the silver haired vampire, who used strange acrobatics and his speed to avoid being struck, when he withdrew his own sword Akarin stepped out to stop the combat. One fact Akarin released about him is that hes never failed a mission.

Pro's
As stealthy as Akarin he has an annoying habit of showing up when people least expect him.
Silibar's speed is rumored to be similar of Akarin's.
He often intergrates acrobatics into his fighting style.
Silibar is very proficent with his short blade.
Trained in magic that will help him in his duty as an assassin.
Deceptive-Due to his nature it is very hard to guess what hes thinking.
Generally Unknown- His abilities are for the most part unknown although it can be guessed that he is quite powerful.

Con's
Untrustworthy-Sadly his nature leaves him hard to be trusted and most people are creeped out by his oddness.
Apparently Loyal-Despite serving all the counts loyally with no ambitions for his own none have deemed him very trustworthy.
Alone- Apart from Akarin Silibar has no real allies, only masters and subordinates.
Sadistic- Despite his personality hes a very sadistic person and often gets carried away.
A Loner not a leader-Despite being high in the assassins of the counts Silibar shows no real leadership abilities.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Lord Andreasse, personal champion of Helena
Age: Lived for approximately 25 years as a human, has existed for roughly 75 years as a ghost/spectre/what-have-you.
Loyalty: He is loyal to Helena alone.
Height: Roughly 6 feet tall.
Appearance
The spectral image of Andreasse is, when neutral or benevolent, always clad in a suit of finely crafted plate armour, his handsome and youthful face visible when the visor of his helmet is raised. On his hip rests a scabbard with an elegant sword sheathed in it and to his back he has strapped his ornate shield. His appearance alters dramatically when he enters combat however, as his essence is overcome by powerful emotions of anger and vengeance: great, vicious spikes protrude from his armour, leering faces appear across the polished surfaces and his features turns feral.

Brief history
Andreasse was once a youth noble of Bretonnia, skilled in the arts of war and horsemanship as is customary for those of high birth. Sadly, he met an early demise at the hands of Chaos during the battle of Couronne, when an enormous horde of the Dark Four invaded the nation. The Chaos hordes were ultimately routed and as the victorious began to collect the remains of those who had fallen to burn or otherwise send them off to the afterlife, Andreasse's spirit screamed in frustration, for he was not yet ready to leave the material plane behind him. Appearing before him, Helena offered him the chance to serve along side her as a keeper of peace and justice, a chance to again influence the world and to fight for that which is right. Eager to escape the clutches of Morr and his netherworld, Andreasse accepted without hesitation and has served his mistress with unwavering loyalty ever since, becoming her most proficient warrior and most trusted officer. Wherever the Ghost Princess treads, her devoted champion will not be far away.

Personality
Andreasse has shed nearly all vestiges of his mortal personality, dedicating himself fully to the servitude of his mistress, his gratitude for being allowed to continue his existence in the world knowing no bounds.

Strengths
Like Helena, Andreasse is an ethereal being and therefore he can be quite hard to harm. While relatively inexperienced in the arts of swordsmanship compared to many vampires, Helena often imparts some of her own magical essence into Andreasse's, empowering him and guiding him in his efforts. The influx of power causes Andreasse to shine brightly like an evening star, increasing his speed, strength and skill to much higher levels.

Weaknesses
In his "regular", non-empowered state, Andreasse is not much more powerful than what he was when alive and as such can usually not threaten the more supernatural adversaries in any decisive way. When empowered, his weakness lies in the fact that Helena herself needs to focus strongly on the act, leaving her more open to attack. If Helena is forced to withdraw due to losing too much magical energy, Andreasse too will be forced to retreat.

I hope he looks all right, heheh.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Name - Dythor Magnus Venal
Associated Names - The Beast, The Wolverine
Age - Unknown
Bloodline - Unknown
Sire - Unknown
Place of Birth - Bretonnia

Description
Dythor is a strange Vampire. Quite often, he wears little but a greying pair of ruined and tattered breeches held up by a cloth belt, only when he is required will he don any armour or clothing that makes him in the least presentable. His body is muscular and hairy, and upon his left side of his belt there's a number of scabbards, one for a rapier, one for a broadsword and a final scabbard for a sabre, all of these weapons being unique and the only things that Dythor actually seems to care about.
His dark head hair reaches down to about his waist, all tied back again and again to keep it from getting in his way. The only skin that he has is on the palms of his hands and his face, the rest being covered in short, fine black hair. His hands and feet have long, sharp claws, reaching nearly ten inches in length for his feet, but only a modest three inches for his hands, which are filed down.
Dythor could really best be described as Schizophrenic. He has no real personality and keeps shifting between referring to himself in first and third person, as well as others by their names or by just referring to them, or he could refer to himself or others as inanimate objects. His speech is generally broken and full of riddles and ideas that make it nearly impossible to have a conversation with him unless he becomes stable.
In combat it again depends on his style of choice, often going from a finite duelling style with his rapier to a brawling style with his broadsword, and sometimes altogether skipping weapons and going into a near berserker rage that rivals some Strigoi.

Equipment
Exce - Exce is Dythor's Rapier. It's light and while wielding it Dythor actually feels at peace, his combat style more complete than his others, but overall Exce has only a name to it, the only remarkable thing about it being that it "calms" Dythor down.
Evis - Evis is Dythor's broadsword, a weapon designed to tear limbs off and cause as much damage as possible, a weapon that enhances Dythor's rage and animalistic fighting styles, and heightens Dythor's strength, but also crudens any fighting ability that he has.
Equi - Equi is Dythor's final weapon, his sabre, which is balanced and a near perfect weapon, and Dythor's fighting style with it is much too vicious, but at the same time this weapon seems to have an aimed stroke regardless of how Dythor swings it.
In the hands of any other, these weapons seem to do nothing, but it may just be that Dythor's psychology makes them effect him in the ways that they do.
If Dythor wishes he can use any two of his weapons, sometimes with unexpected results to his psyche.

Brief History
Dythor was born in Bretonnia as a peasant, which is all he knows about his former life before he became a Vampire, and even during his time as a Vampire his memory is sporadic. The clear memories that he has are few, such as during a siege in the Empire before Karl Franz was made the Emperor, but after Magnus Pious, where he helped the Empire for his own goal. He remembers a dungeon where he was in chains before he was enraged and broke out, and this seems to be his most recent memory. He remembers a battle in Troll Country against the biggest Troll he'd ever encountered, and thought that perhaps he died during that battle. He remembers parts of shifting blue and red sand, where the women were a hideous form of woman and scorpion, and men were both man and devil. He remembers living with wolves for a time, although where he isn't quite sure. His most foggy memory is that of his actual siring, where he was told that he'd be the greatest of all Vampires, although at this point in time this may just be a boast from the person who had sired him, thinking he had potential. As it is, Dythor has no potential as a Vampire, save as a weapon.

Pros
Schizophrenic combat - Dythor's combat style is unpredictable and often changes during a fight, making him an unpredictable opponent and one that is risky to fight against.
Beastial - Dythor has a beastial strength worthy of the Strigoi
Dexterity - Dythor has the natural dexterity of a Druchii Witch Elf
Ally of Wolves - Dythor is able to befriend a wolf with ease, and can call on them in battle, usually unintentionally by howling like a wolf during combat. It's with wolves that he can converse freely without suffering any effect of Schizophrenia.

Cons
Schizoprenic combat - Dythor's combat style is unpredictable, and thus he can't really control it no matter how much he wants it to be.
Beastial - Dythor, when his mind is stable, has the thought processes of a beast. At other times, he could be considered an animal and is easily controlled by others, and even when in a more intelligable state he still takes suggestion readily.
Schizoprenic - Because of Dythor's schizophrenia, it makes it hard for him to remember anything or consider tactics. He is unreliable because of this.
Lack of Magical Talant - Dythor is unable to use Magic of any kind; his thought processes aren't advanced enough to grasp any of the logic behind it.
Tool of others - Dythor is commonly used as a tool of others because he's easily controlled or open to suggestion.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

This is someone I plan on introduceing later on. I use the profile of Isabela von Carstien to represent her on the table.

Countess Laura Von Strauss

Full Name: Laura Von Strauss
Associated Names: The Black Rose of Wallachia
Age: -unkown-
Bloodline: -unkown-
Sire: -unkown-
Place of Birth: -unkown-

Description: Countess Laura has a type of beauty that makes it imposible to tell how old she was when she became a vampire, though her short hight, the same as her husband, Erick von Strauss, sugestes that it is around the same age. Laura has pale skin and red eyes that seem to glow in the dark as if they drain the very light from a room. She sometimes changes the color of her hair to match her mood at the time, sometimes black, sometimes blond, sometimes red or a mixture.

Equipment:
Laura typicaly carries a sword and sometimes wears armour, but she has no magical equipment.

Brief History: Laura von Strauss remembers very little before she met her future husband Erick von Strauss. The few things she can remember are breaf flashbacks of pain and mental suffering, and perhaps it is better that she does not remember her previus life.
Laura has perhaps suffered the abuses of humanity more than any other vampire. Due to the peculuar qualities of Laura's blood it is extreemly hard to kill her, but humans seem to have been very inventive in their attempts to do so, such as crusifieing her to 9 foot tall silver Hammer of Sigmar. Laura despises all humans, and considers them no better than animals.
Laura considers her life, and memeries to have begon when she was found, starving and near death, by Erick von Strauss, Count of Wallachia. Erick was the only person capable of rehabilitating Laura and bringing her back from the brink of insanity. The two Vampires where maried a year and a half after Erick had rescued her. Laura has a strong, but often morbid and depressing personality, often slipping into long periods of melencholy, which only her husband can bring her out of.

Pro's: The blood of Laura von Strauss has a curiuse effect on undead creatures. For unknown reasons her blood is able to rapidly heal the wounds of anyone who drinks it. Thus she serves as a kind of perverse vampire medic, her blood healing even the most gruesom wounds almost instantly. Laura herself benefits from this effect, and wounds inflected on her heal extreemly fast.

Con's: Laura has little skill with a sword and almost no aptitude for magic, and would present little challenge for most Vampires to defeat.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

I've wanted to get in on this for a while, so here's my 2-week magnum opus.

Full Name: Quezalat Ghorqalamor
Associated Names: Thalak Rei
Age: Original life: 1761, Semi-life: 2058, Vampirism: 1593
Bloodline: Blood Dragon (Large amounts of Strigoi)
Sire: Luthor Harkon
Place of Birth: Original: Temple-City of Xhotl, Semi-Life: Albion, Vampirism: Eastern jungles of Lustria

Description: Heavy scaly hide covers tarnished white bones in the few places where blades or age have worn through. Traces of his Stegadon-hide armour can be seen with an observant eye. His hide is black as night on the scales of his back, and brightens to the grey of worn steel in his underbelly. Bone claws extrude from his hands and a bone blade is strapped to his back at all times. He often rides Larekoth, his Cold One. Coloured a dark mottled green, bones sometimes show through his gromril-armoured hide. His fore-claws have been reinforced with the plundered metal, and his teeth strengthened with age. Such is Larekoth's size that he is often mistaken for a small Carnosaur.

Equipment: Bone claws
Vengeance of the Blasted Heart: A Stegadon crest-bone sharpened on the inner curve and spiked on the outer, augmented to bite deeply against any enemy
Magic-warding Stegadon-hide armour that has sunk beneath his scaly hide throughout the ages
Larekoth (Bloodscour): His giant Cold One, armoured with pitted and cracked plundered gromril with mail-shod claws and sharp fangs.

History: Quezalat was one of the original Saurus created by the Old Ones, a crop that included the great leader Kroq-Gar as well as many other mighty Scar-Leaders. Throughout his career as a powerful Oldblood, he was always drawn to the Slann out of reverence for his existence. He always pleaded for assignment to command the Temple Guard, and during the Great Sundering he guarded a trio of Slann known as Tlamanti, Adaha-Quel and Quazlatl, who were helping Caledor and his mages to close the Vortex. Midway through the ritual, they were assaulted by Druchii and Daemons led by Khelthrai, a vengeful Druchii spirit known as a Rephallim, who battered down the defenses of the helpless Slann while Quezalat butchered attackers, trying to make his way to stop the shade. He was ultimately unsuccessful, and the consequences of his failure were immediate as the breaking of the ritual released a wave of energy that shattered the body of the Scar-Leader and his faithful Cold One Larekoth. Their broken bodies lay on the shores of the warpstone lode of Albion until the Great Sorceror Nagash attempted his Ritual of Waking, when Quezalat and Larekoths' spirits returned to their bodies in a strange form of half-life. Suddenly sentient, the Saurus and his mount returned to the jungles of Lustria, draining victims' life force to regain their full lives. Near the completion of this monumental effort, Luthor Harkon's Zombie Pirates began their raids of the Lustrian Coast, eventually driving deeper and capturing both part-living creatures. In his madness, Luthor attempted to make the mostly-alive Saurus into a vampire like himself, and nearly succeeded. The insane semi-vampiric Oldblood tore away from his captors with one word imprinted in his torn mind by his mad sire: Strigoi. Somehow he managed to cross the ocean to make it to the Old World, where he hunted and drained every corpse-drinker he could find. After his largest kill, Quezalat curled up in the most remote cave he could find, and slowly regained his sanity and sense of self. But, buried in his thoughts was the mind of his victim, the vampire Makat Heartfang. For years he struggled against the vicious consciousness of the Strigoi, and finally mastered the presence, pinning him to a tiny corner of his mind, from which Makat would occasionally emerge, forcing the Saurus into a battle for his own half-life. His mind and body mastered, he made the journey through the World's Edge Mountains back to Lustria, where he revived and claimed the partially alive Larekoth. This done, he traveled to the Chaos Wastes, where he searched for the bounds of his bleak existence. Something not known to even himself, has called him back to the Old World. He hopes this sending will be a chance for him to achieve something in this material world, or else rid himself of this bleak existence trying.

Advantages:
Warrior's Heart: Having lived more than five thousand years in different states, Quezalat is one of the most experienced warriors to ever have existed, making sure that he is never surprised. He may not be the fastest warrior, or the most devious, but his experience carries him through.
Force of the Scaled One: Due to Quezalat's history as an Oldblood of the first spawning as well as his vampirism, his strength is immense, allowing him to use his blade to cut through almost anything. In the same manner, due to the blessing of the Old One Quetzl and the stegadon-skin armour that is now part of his own hide, his scales can repel blades and most human-sized ranged attacks.
Blessing of Itzl: While Larekoth is definitely not the most intelligent Cold One to ever exist, the blessing of the Old Ones has created an empathic bond between them, through which feelings and images can be transported.
Devoted Guardian: If a being manages to gain Quezalat's undoubted trust, he will protect them with every fiber of his being, having been created for this very purpose.

Weaknesses:
Blunt as a Cold One's Scale: Quezalat, while being reasonably intelligent and a good strategist, does not have the devious mind for intrigue sported by the majority of other vampires. While it would be an overstatement to call him naive, he is easily manipulated.
Unsubtle: Outside of their jungle environment of Lustria, Quezalat and Larekoth are easily tracked, spied upon, heard, or found, being unused to the Old World and its environs.
Vengeful Fury: In the full flow of battle, Quezalat is implacable, ignoring shouts, pleas, and physical restraint. Additionally, if one of the few he truly trusts are injured, his fury will be boundless, inextinguishable except for calming or sharp words from his Devoted Ones. Additionally, since he blames the Druchii and the minions of Slaanesh for his unique condition, his rage against these creatures is immeasurable.
Spirit of Makat: In the Saurus' worst times of anguish and stress, the mind of Makat Heartfang will often emerge and war with the Oldblood for control over his body. During these (generally brief) relapses, he rants and raves uncontrollably and will not respond to any outward stimulus.
Untouched by the Winds: Even with his vampiric state, Quezalat has almost no contact with the Winds of Magic. His magical abilities are just sufficient to bind the part-wight Larekoth to his will, and he cannot exert his will outside of that bond.

So, what do all of you (sometimes very freaky) people think?

~EDIT~ Fixed some stuff from the first draft.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Ima decided to finally flesh out the two lesser supporting characters of the 4-man group I string around in TVC. Mrs. Lovette's first, Toby will be done later(on duty tomorrow so wouldn't be around to post at night):

Mrs. Lovette

Full Name: Unknown
Associated Names: None
Age: 500 - 600 years (estimated)
Bloodline: Strigoi
Sire: Sweeney Todd

Description
Similar in appearance and physical profile to the average human woman you can find on any street in any major city of the Empire. She is almost always seen with an overdose of eyeshadow. Her dark hair(almost but not quite raven black) falls down to her shoulder level in semi-unruly locks.

She is not strikingly beautiful like Lahmians tend to be, but she makes up for it by being well endowed in the chest area. The effect is enhanced by the frilly bustier dresses she always seems to be wearing.

Her strength is magic rather than close combat like her sire Todd. While she is a master necromancer she is not as powerful as Lesa or V'azrin. She also has a mastery of the Lores of Magic that the Imperial Colleges of Magic teach, having studied there in disguise. Also, unlike the vast majority of her peers, she has a decent grasp of the Wind of Ghyran. She is by no means a master of the Lore of Life though, being handicapped by her vampiric nature.

Having pioneered the use of warpstone in baking pies this inadvertently makes her an alchemist and a master poisoner. She also is a specialist at killing Skaven(especially when using magic), and has developed a branch of necromancy that affects solely Skaven and no other creature.

Equipment

The Rolling Pin of Doom(AKA Skavenbeater) - This is her trusty baking tool which she also uses to smite vermin. This impromptu weapon has taken the lives of countless Skaven over the centuries. As a result of the above and its constant exposure to necromantic energies its mere touch is lethal to the ratmen. It constantly exudes the musk of fear and the trapped souls of the vermin it has slain are bound to it, creating a tiny but constant shrilling in the background as the tormented Skaven squeal in eternal damnation. This combines to create an aura that paralyses Skaven with sheer terror and saps their will to fight.

Warpstone meatpies - For some strange reason she always carries a few about her person. Some of them(it must be the meat) have a strangely restorative and energizing effect on most vampires, though the side effects later are extreme. They also provide a small magical boost, giving wizards some extra energies to channel their magic with. To all others though it is poison, and highly toxic.

Cookbook(with notations) - This is actually more of a grimoire than anything else and most of its contents similar to what can be found in a wizard's library. Some of the attached scrolls contain incantations that can be used to dissipate the effects of an enemy wizard's spell.

Lead apron and lead dress - While not literally made of lead her apron and the dresses she usually wear have an uncanny ability to absorb and dampen magic, helping her in her work. The stored energies also help to protect her.

The Black Albatross - This is a unique undead bird-construct that resembles a crow or raven and is powered by a combination of necromancy and clockwork mechanisms. Despite the magicks about it the Albatross is strangely inconspicuous and is in fact indistinguishable from normal birds when viewed from the ground. It is capable of storing and transmitting messages telepathically, as well as relaying what it sees through its dead eyes to its controller. Mrs. Lovette is the only one who knows the full intricacies of the Black Albatross and uses it as her main means of long-range communication between her and Todd.

Brief History
Originally the spinster baker who had moved in below Benjamin Barker's old barber shop, she fell for Sweeney Todd and got sucked into his grand scheme for revenge. Whether the former caused the latter or merely happened simultaneously, none can say. But either way, Todd allowed her to continue helping him and granted her the Blood Kiss.

Whilst Todd departed to the Far East, she reluctantly remained in the Old World to hone her grasp of the arcane arts. They were reunited more than a century later when Todd made the return journey and finally began his vendetta.

Pros
Skavenslayer - Mrs. Lovette has a pathological hatred of all vermin and this extends to Skaven. She is experienced with dealing with(mostly putting down) their kind and has pioneered the development of necromantic spells that work solely on Skaven.

Versatile spellcaster - As the title would suggest she is a powerful wizard and necromancer, though not as powerful as the eldest of the Council her sorcery far exceeds those not as trained or experienced like Mircea. She also has mastered the 8 Lores of Magic and unlike practically all other vampire wizards she can use the Lore of Life decently enough though she is not very good at it.

Dread Chef - She is a master of lacing pies(or other food if need be) with warpstone and has studied its effects on those who consume it. This makes her a master poisoner and warpstone alchemist.

Cons
No combat training - Whilst she has the intrinsic strength and speed of all vampires she is no warrior and is no match for any of the more warlike vampires.

Obsessive compulsive - Self explanatory. She has several of these, an overwhelming urge to keep hers and Todd's living and work areas clean being one

Pent-up jealousy - Mrs. Lovette's unrequitted love for Sweeney Todd can make her a very cranky woman. She does not suffer other women getting too friendly with Todd and will not hesitate to use lethal force to express her displeasure. Ironically her constant failure to get Todd to reciprocate her feelings over the centuries means that she shares some of the bottled-up bitter frustration that drives her sire

Jeremiah

Full Name: Jeremiah
Associated Names: The Daemonkin, the Daemonhost, the Possessed One, the Thrice Cursed
Species: Human
Age: 22 years old

Desciption
He a young man possessed of a height of slightly under 2 meters, his eyes deep brown, his hair jet black. His skin is of a dusted bronze complexion. He is lithe, tone yet not heavily muscled.

Brief History
Jeremiah was born in far off Lashiek and has traveled to the distant shores of the empire and deep into the mainland to the blighted heart of Sylvannia. When he was young he was nothing more than simply another peasant, father unknown, mother caring for five children of three sons and two daughters. By the age of his two brothers and one of his sisters had died, succumbing to the omnipresent pall of sickness and disease that threatened one and all. His sister was married off at the young age of thirteen, her marriage bringing much needed money to her mother. At the age of fourteen, Jeremiah had begun working to support his lone mother and himself. It was at the age of seventeen, having long worked to make the necessary payments and arrangements to attain the hand of a woman of seventeen years, they had both been fond of each other for some time and loved each other dearly. On his way back from his day’s labors he was attacked by a cadre of armed thugs, severely beaten, and left to bleed his life out upon the deserted streets of the poorer district of Lashiek. He awoke, surprised, out upon the desert sands, parched, famished, and astounded that he still lived. He found an array of strange marking marring his torso, intricately wrought tattoos of unknown design and import. After wandering the desert scavenging as best he could, he acquired passage on a merchant convoy towards the distant east working as a hired hand. He has since made his way to the empire and has been driven to Sylvannia in pursuit of the answer to an enigma that has increasingly troubled him. The answer to the riddle of the tattoos.

Equipment
A cloak, travel worn garments, a blade, and a seemingly ancient grimoire. The grimoire is completely blank.

Pro’s
Daemonologist: Due to his predicament, Jeremiah has scourged the Empire and the lands from Araby to Sylvannia in search of any deamonic lore. Although he does not actively collect the tomes he gleans knowledge from, he has become quite the daemon expert.

Supernaturally Gifted: He has a heightened sensitivity to spirits and daemons in so much as being quite keen in sensing them.

Daemonic Possession: The intricate tattoos which adorn his torso are arcane binding sigils which fasten many daemonic entities and lesser ethereal beings to him. Although their origins are unknown, these bindings were very well made and a specific influence or ritual must be undergone to unlock the binding and unleash the bound entity. Jeremiah has no idea what all these rituals are and no hedge witch, daemonologist, necromancer, or other magically gifted being has succeeded in deciphering the bindings and gleaning the secret of their undoing.

Con’s
Human: He is only human, he does not have regenerative capabilities, nor magical aptitude (except in rituals he has learned regarding daemons), nor any martial prowess of a sufficient measure. He is able to wield a blade and has learned to survive off of the land.

Daemonic Possession: The daemons bound to him have their own goals, schemes, and designs. They care not for his survival or well being unless it suits their purposes, and they do not take well to being bound to any being let alone a mortal of such a standing.

Bio2

Revised Character Bio, in proper format, changed a few things:

Little is known of Draithon Thornhearts ‘life’. That which is known generally agrees that he was an exceptionally talented dark elven warrior, of what type is unknown. He was captured during a raid on the Empire, just 50 years before our current time . The raiding party was massacred and the survivors taken captive. The defense of the small town is believed to have been headed by the Lahmian Sisterhood, the reasons why were never discovered. There are rumors he was involved in the utter destruction of the Khainite rebellion of the Northern sea but also the covert undermining of Malekieths rule.

From records of the Sisterhoods destroyed keep on the Sea of Claws, it seems that Draithon and his fellow captives were transported to the aforementioned fortress and tested upon. The goal was to create elven vampires, using a modified elixir of life to the one held by Neferata, to further the Sisterhoods web of influence: into the elven civilisations. They were by no means the first group of captives, hundreds had died in there. But they were the last. The Lahmians succeeded in their goal to an extent, as you can see with Draithon today, yet he doesn't have quite the same strength gains, toughness, magic ability or natural control over the undead. But it was then that everything went wrong for the accursed vampires, a large Darkelven army had discovered the keep and laid it under siege, as the witchking wanted the vampires under his control They took the keep with ease, taking all the elven vampires, but they underestimated the power and determination of a small group of vampires. Especially after many of the vampires were tortured and beaten, to try and force them to swear a magical binding oath to the witchking. Draithon was among these. Once the male vampires were discovered to have magic, they were periodically tortured to death, Draithon wasn't, but he was close to death. None helped the Raiders and all were tortured further, some just for fun. Desperation led to desperate measures. Even in the dungeons of the Malekieths citadel, some of their strength remained. The remaining vampires slowly destroyed the cage, as no steel and mortar can hold for long from a crazed vampire, which some eventually degenerated to. They slaughtered the cage guards and escaped off into the night.

Thornheart currently reigns over a small Duchy near Marienberg, given to him by King Leoncour for his efforts in both great Arabian wars, in the second as Lord-Strategist of The Araby Recliamation Pact. It is a small place, no more than two small towns and a castle town. It relies on trade up its wide river, as it is situated in mountains and agricultural land is sparse. The people are happy and the towns prosperous. The capital is castle Icekeel. The other Brettonian Lords seem incapable of seeeing him as anything but his assumed human role, perhaps this is a small scale visual deception, certainly unexpected, which is why it has not been picked up on yet.

Physical Description: Like most darkelves, Thornheart has high and noble features. He has chin length silver hair, which he sometimes changes back to black with magic, he still hasn't decided which looks better, though black is his natural colour. Unusual among his kind, he has almost glowing green eyes. His skin is even paler than normal because of his vampirism. On his left ear he wears a peculiar earring, a small Sapphire held in a net of silver with small dragon designs. The sign of a Lord in the Black Crown. He is tall and thin with long, seemingly over long (by about 1cm) fingers. On his right ring finger he wears an elegant silver and amethyst ring. In battle he wears a full body suit of dull grey, purple and black armour, built to accentuate fear and martial supremacy, with bulked out shoulders, highly detailed armour, small spikes in strategic places and threatening armour plate looks, with the described black robes. ]. His travelling garb consists of leather arm guards, and silk clothing with raised ithilmar pauldrons. Shaped almost like splaying scimitars, yet slightly raised into a triangle, with the points pointing forwards. And a long, thin, sometimes softly fluttering to an invisible wind black robe with a cut along the middle and collared with a deep hood. His preferred weapon is a sword, Cerillye. It is as long as a human and thin, a cross between a rapier and a Draich, similar in shape to the latter, with a faint glow of light blue/grey . In his hands it seems to move faster then quicksilver, and is very effective at slicing through thick armour, disabling magical wards and shimmering through steel. His other blade is thin and rectangular with a slight curve outwards on both sides towards the end, it's edge is made of obsidian, making it extremely effective against undead and deamons, and with a few molecule thick razor edge. As an assassin he believes in being prepared for every opportunity. To this end he has two silver knives in his boots, two poison powder packets sewn into the lining of his cuffs, tools of his trade he carries in a box with his weapons (ie, on his back) except for a small amount of lockpicks and a small shard of null stone. For quiet work he carries a curved dagger with glowing purple runes and a menacing black longbow.

Personality Description: Thornheart is introspective, cold, and almost always calm unless his vampirisim exerts a hold or someone has truly roused his anger. This is not to say he doesn’t show emotion, as emotion can be used the empower words. He is intelligent and practical yet slightly vain. Generally remorseless, a faint glimmer of concience sometimes influences his actions and sometimes black humor will come unbidden. He is also extremely determined in his goals, sometimes single minded to the exclusion of all else. Rarely does he drink blood, as he regards it as uncouth and primitive. Under almost no compulsion will he enter a torture chamber, the entrance of one will send him into a series of unmanning flashbacks.

Revealed Drives:
His overriding drive is to kill The Witch King, no matter how long it takes, no matter what it entails, the witch king has had him betrayed, tortured, killed, humiliated and has killed many of his companions and is hunting him. Therefore he will die. He also wants the dark throne, because he is frustrated by the what he regards as an inefficient rule by Malekieth.
Innocence has horribly burned his arm, therefore he has gained his enmity. Draithon also is interested in collecting knowledge, as something of a scholar, he dredges up all the knowledge possible about his condition, trying to work out what he is.

Known Associates:
Elliana Thornheart- his lover, one of the remaining elven vampires.

Reyasaltien – a dragon that Draithon Thornheart befriended and saved from death in exchange for friendship and a great ally.

Thorgrim GrudgeBeard, Captain in the Dwarven Royal Navy- a loyal friend, they met eachother during the first great Arabian war, and have remained allies ever since.

Captain Darkwater: Thornhearts Lieutenant, an darkelven raider captain that Draithon gave the Bloodkiss. He is utterly loyal to Thornheart, a Dark Sentinel.

Followers
Draithon is followed everywhere by six Dark Sentinels, extremely well trained darkelven assassins and soldiers, loyal to the core. Much like a varient of the Black Guard. They are dressed in long black cloaks with armour similar to Draithon's underneath. Armed with a repeater crossbow, a Draich and numerous knives. His armies consist of a Black Ark, housing just over 3 banners of darkelves (600) as well as 7 banners of undead (1400). As a count of brettonia he can call on up to 50 knights and 200 peasant infantry.

Quotes: “Honour is a shield that can only be used against another with the same shield” On the field of battle, to an enemy commander.

“I’ve died once, it wasn’t a pleasant experience, and I do not wish to repeat it, goodbye.' To an assassin, also sent in a message to the assassins contractor, both deceased.

Current Location: Castle Icekeel.

Statistics:

Vampire Lord:
RedFury (blade skill)
Walking Death (a command Aura e.g Brilliant General)
Supernatural Horror (his reputation precedes him)
Walach’s Bloody Hauberk ( The Icekeel Cuirass)
Book of Arkhan ( again, Brilliant general)
Sword of Battle (The Moonlight Blade)

Pros:

Dark Inquisitor:
As a member of the Black Crown Draithon has trained for just over 150 years, under expert tutelage. His already entirely abnormal reflexes were enchanced by both this and vampirism. He is an extremely skilled blademaster (but not overwhelmingly so, he prefers assassination), as well as a fairly good shot. He knows how to use most weapons of the world, from an empire duelling pistol, to a seaguard ballistae. As it was a primarily assassination organisation, he is also well trained in the diplomacy of the knife, and sneaking and assorted lockpicking and diversionary skills. His natural intelligence and strategical ability has been nutured.

Cerillye:
A long bladed draich. Magically sharpened so that it seems to cut even air. Armour is no obstacle, and it is enchanted enough to be able to damage most magically armours quite severely. In short, the blade regards defense as foolish, swords are cut in half, and armour is cleaved through as though it is air.

Versidian (Obsidian blade): A thin longsword created with a blade created almost entirely on obsidian, in the basic Darkelven sword shape with some slight embellishments. It is strengthened to more than that is required for a sword. The nature of the blade is that it is an anathema to magic. Ethereal creatures fear its touch, magic shies away from it, directed spells can be deflected and magic summoning interrupted. Created specifically for use against undead.

More, look at bio.

Cons:
-Not particularly strong compared to other vampires.
-Not the most adept with magic (Lvl 1.5-2 mage)
- Not a very fast runner
- Not particularly tough (He is an elf...)
-Can be unmaned by some flashbacks
-Suffers from infrequent seizures set off by injuries.
-He will do anything, ANYTHING for his revenge.

Bio 3

All right, so here's a character that I'm planning on introducing to the TVC in the near future.

-----------------------------------------------------
Ashlotte, The Iron Maiden

Ashlotte is a mechanical creation, an artificial human deviced through engineering and animated by magic.

Approximations
Age - 4 years
Height - 5'2'' / 165 cm
Weight - 460 lbs / 208 kg

Brief History
Ashlotte was first born into the world through the deluded machinations and evil magicks of an underground cult of followers dedicated to the Chaos god Tzeentch. She was the prototype for a type of superior soldiers that her father hoped to market to the imperial states in return for vast amounts of gold. The cult was discovered just as Ashlotte was given consciousness and after taking interest in the mechanical creation and its plight, the watching ghost princess Helena decided to recover the artificial human before the imperials could destroy it. After making sure that the chaotic magic used to animate the machine had dissipated entirely, Helena imparted some of her own arcane essence into Ashlotte, binding the Iron Maiden to her service for all time. Ever since, Ashlotte have acted as a type of scout and errand runner for Helena, able to traverse enormous distances atop her mechanical steed in a short space of time.

Physical Appearance

In General
Ashlotte is pretty much made entirely out of iron and other metals. She wears clothing like a regular person, even though her attire has a rather outlandish appearance. She has a thin physique but this is made up for by her artificial constitution.

Head
  • She wears a white, odd-looking bonnet held in place with a scarlet headstrap. She also has a scarlet bow ontop of her head.
  • Her hair is a pale violet colour, long and curly.
  • Her face is unnaturally pale (almost a brilliant white) with yellow-ish eyes. Her features rarely show any emotion which can be unsettling depending on the situation at hand, despite her doll-like attributes.
Upper Body
  • Ashlotte wears a typical white maids blouse. On top of this she wears a black skirt-like dress made out of overlapping thin plates of metal which extends down below her knees. This metal skirt is held together with many small rivets. It also has an opening to the front and back to allow Ashlotte to be seated atop a mount. The inside of this skirt is of a vibrant red colour, a stark contrast to the white and black which makes up the rest of her appearance.
  • Right below her chest there is a heart-shaped window into her interior which reveals several active brass gears and cogs.
  • She wears two raised white shoulder pieces. Her arms are of metal painted white and two vicious spikes adorn the couters / elbow pieces that protects the complex mechanics of her elbow joints. Her hands are gauntlet-clad.
  • Metal wire run across her body here and there to ensure that the various pieces of metal clothing is held together and functions properly.
Lower Body
  • Ashlotte wears a pair of typical imperial puffy slacks, colour white.
  • She also wears a pair of steel boots / greaves, again of a white colour.
Equipment
  • Ashlotte is armed with the Krnielk, a large and heavy weapon with a broad spearhead on one side and a lance-like tip on the other. She found this artefact after stumbling upon the desolate remains of a battlefield between two warring chaos factions. The weapon has an elegant appearance to it, despite its threatening dimensions.
  • She is also equipped with a repeater pistol.
  • Ashlotte often travels atop a mechanical mount which she managed to steal from the local engineer's workshop. She prefers this steed to a regular horse due to the relatively low maintenance required and increased stamina.
Personality
Unless threatened or given orders to confront someone, Ashlotte is typically a friendly being, almost impossible to effectively insult. She can also be a bit dim-witted when it comes to humor and manners. Despite this she is still an intelligent creature and is stubbornly loyal.

Major Strengths
  • Resistant to injury and most forms of magic.
  • Her appearance can be deceiving, she is quite strong and weighs alot more than the size and dimensions of her body would suggest.
  • While not sensationally skilled in the arts of combat, her wide sweeps with the Krnielk is usually enough to ensure that the target is struck with supremely crushing force.
  • Her aim with the repeater pistol is close to expert, on the other hand.
  • Completely unflinchable.
Major Weaknesses
  • The vampiric essence within her makes her vulnerable to anti-undead treatments.
  • She lacks agility which will give her a hard time against any of the more supernatural opponents.
  • Complete lack of magical affinity.

I hope it looks all right, heheh. :)

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Ok here is my newly sired vampire:
Viktor, The Marquis of Kislev

Full Name: Viktor Kovách
Associated Names: Father of the Howling Wolves
Age: 27
Bloodline: Blood Dragon
Sire: a Knight of Blood Keep
Place of Birth: A now destroyed village at the foot of Silver Pinnacle

Description
At a height of 5ft 10, and with a slim but toned body, this man certainly does not fit the description of "a wild beast with evil in his eyes" on the contrary his mesmerising blue eyes captured the hearts of many of the fair maidens of Kislev but if he was ever aware of it, he chose not to show this.
He has an aura of command about him developed in his small career as a Captain of the warriors of Kislev and this aura was magnified upon the battlefield as he lead his men to where the fighting is thickest.
Now having been bestowed with vampirism, his strength has magnified but his brave and giving personality has remained unchanged as seen by the care held within his eyes and in the way he behaves and treats others.

(How Viktor's look works in the TVC
Viktor may be a newly blooded vampire, but his almost majestic aura of command belies his lack of powers thus far. He has entranced many a fair maiden in his time but refuses to let this control him as he has never supped the blood of a woman and intends to keep it that way. As he puts it "My honour is my life." and as such he would rather lose his life than his honour.)

Equipment (Nothing special)
Elaborate Heavy Armour
A Tasselled Full Helmet
a Long Gold-Trimmed Blue Cape (Happens to match his eyes)
Two Well-Crafted and finely balanced Swords

Brief History
Viktor, The Marquis of Kislev, Father of the Howling Wolves has wandered the Old World seeking vengeance upon an unforgiving nation for barely a year now ever since he was bestowed the Blood Kiss by one of the Order of the Blood Dragon. In a chance encounter, the two fought like men possessed but after hours of battle the Marquis was finally bested.
This young vampire's ability to tame the Wolves of Kislev has garnered him packs of these vicious beasts that serve their new master in hunting and slaying the mightiest of foes.
In battle this warrior is unyielding as shwon by his failed attempt to defeat the Blood Knight, after this event he resisted the blood thirst for ages as a war raged within him. He met a beautiful young maiden whom he rescued from a marauding bandit but refused to go within arms reach of her as he would have gave in to weakness which would have resulted in him bedding and possibly killing her. Instead he located the bandit and slew him, feeding until a dry carcass was left.
He then left and travelled through the Empire when his people discovered what he had become and is now attempting to locate others of his kin to learn the dark secrets of what he has become and what he must do to battle the thirst that constantly rages within him.

Pro's
A skilled swordsman for his age and is strengthening because of his vampiric powers.
Able to control Dire Wolves to do his bidding (only magic he has but he cannot raise/ressurect wolves).
Able to mesmerise his allies and enemies, entrancing them with either his honourable behaviour or his aura of majesty.
His foes may hate him but they grudgingly respect both his skill at arms, his implacable honour and his magnificence in battle tactics.

Con's
Still young, he has learnt little of vampiric ways in terms of magic and his little experience in battle in comparison with most vampires but is still easily capable of besting most others.
Hates magic, he grudgingly accepts the use of magic by others but refuses to use magic himself (his control of wolves is more of an innate ability) as he sees it as dishonourable.
Honourable, his focus on honour means he will not flee and will fight any who challenge him. He will seek out those who dishonour him and is likely to disagree with underhanded tactics and the behaviour of those with differing views to him.

That's about it, hope you like it and if you have any queries or want me to change anything please feel free to mention it.

RE: TVC - Character Bios

Full Name: Zosz
Associated Names: The Forsaken
Age: Unknown
Bloodline: N/A
Sire: N/A
Place of Birth: Unknown

Description
Zosz appears as an aged Necromancer, no face is visible behind his black hood and dark robes cover every inch of skin that would be showing. He appeared hunched, like some cripple, but in truth he is a creature not wholly of this world, but the next. Beneath his garments is seemingly empty air, but beyond them he cannot hope to manipulate the physical world.

Equipment
The Staff of Darkbane: An ancient, runed staff that Zosz carries with him at all times, leaning on it like an old man does on a walking stick. All Zosz will say of the staff was that it was bestowed to the Necromancer by his first master as a gift, and it greatly enhances the Necromancer's magical power.
Spitefang: When Zosz escaped his master's grasp, he took with him several magical artifacts; Spitefang is one of them, and one of the most potent. It is a masterfully crafted sword that hungers for blood, and when given it the weapon shrieks with joy, bursting into a radiant blue flame.

Brief History
Zosz' origin is a closely guarded secret, one that he keeps to himself as if recounting it will earn him some divine retribution. All he will say is that he was the student of a powerful necromancer, perhaps some reclusive Necrarch, and that he was betrayed by another pupil. His master, in a rage tore apart Zosz' body and soul, hurling it into the realm of Morr where forever it would suffer. But Zosz would not stay dead. Whether through his own will, determination, cunning or with outside aid, Zosz escaped Morr's underworld. The journey to the corporeal world cost him dearly however, and he exists only as a spirit. He animates the garments that mark out his form, and they are his only connection with the real world.
After his escape, Zosz wandered the world for many decades. He did little, for his kind had no place in the realms of the living. He learned what he could about what had transpired between the time of his death and subsequent rebirth and tried to increase his powers yet more. Fortune, it seems, led him to the realm of Sylvania and the Vampire Counts, perhaps the Dark Magic pooling there before the Vampire Wars or the promise of dark powers drew him to this place; or perhaps mere chance. Within the treacherous peaks of the Sylvanian mountains, Zosz stumbled across the lone spire of the Violet Citadel. Offering Zosz a respite from his eternal wandering and access to his Necromancer cabal, libraries and undead legions, Vekarin Banespike took the ancient being under his wing, recognizing the necromancer's power. From there, Zosz quickly became one of Vekarin's most trusted lieutenants, installing new defenses on his citadel and forging magical weapons for his forces. With Vekarin's death, Zosz' ties to the Lord of the Scarred Rose were severed, and his oaths to Vekarin undone. He is now again, his own property.

Pros
Forbidden Teachings - Zosz is incredibly adept at the manipulation of magic. Although not even close to the level of V'azrin or Lesa, there are precious few mortals that can best him in it's use.
Incorporeal - Zosz' has no real physical body, and so cannot feel pain as mortals do. Often he can shed the trappings of reality he surrounds himself with and exist solely as a spirit, a ghost of what he once was. In this form he cannot be touched or harmed, but also cannot touch or manipulate matter either; be it a sword or spear or the winds of magic themselves.

Cons
Blast From the Past - Zosz is incredibly old; with no real body he does not age as mortals do. His powers however, have been diminished by this span of time and his lack of a body. He is not a powerful as he should be.
Arrogant - Zosz likes to believe that his escape from Morr's realm and his inherent power make him invulnerable, and acts as such. He can be haughty, arrogant and annoying at times, and has been forced to perfect the art of single-person teleportation to escape those whom he offends with his antics.

Bio 1

Cool. I'll post my character here.

It occurs to me that the summary only goes to Chapter 19. Could someone either give me another summary or update that one?

Zaak the Uncanny, Lord and Master of the Rolling Legions

Name: Zaak the Uncanny
Age: 150ish
Bloodline: Uncertain.
Sire: Berek the Bloody - permanently deceased
Location of Siring: Some small town in Sylvania, now gone.
Location of Resurrection: A crypt, buried beneath the same non-existant town.

Appearance:
Tall, dark and handsome (or at least he thinks so). He stands at about 5'10". He is slight of build but surprisingly strong (he is a vampire after all). His countenance is near always contorted into a mad grin, his turquoise eyes bright and piercing. When saddened, his eyes dim to a slate grey, and when angered they slide towards green. His skin is pallid, his eyes sunken, and his fangs sharp. His hair is black and short-cropped. He wears the Osamatura, described below, and bears the Osgladius. He has an aura of authority, and strides with purpose. He is always attended by servants and at least two members of the Coven, and as such is never alone.

Abilities:
Beyond the standard strength, speed, endurance, magical prowess and awesomeness attributed to all Vampires, Zaak has additional abilities. He is not the greatest warrior in the land, but is as good as any mortal hero. Similarly, he cannot wield most magics as some specialist vampires, but he could match some of the greatest mortal wizards. In essence, he could out-do a magic-heavy vampire in combat, or blast a combat-heavy vampire with magic. He does have two specialties however. The first of these is summoning basic undead - he's fantastic at it. With a simple gesture of a hand he can pull fifteen skeletons out of the ground. In a cemetery, with a few minutes of invocation, he could call forth a hundred zombies. Of course, these servants could be fairly easily blasted to smithereens by a Necrarch or simply hacked through by a Blood Knight, but it will buy him precious time, and is hardly taxing on him.

His second area of focus is in magical crafting. Not only can he summon the dead with ease, he can also create magical weapons and armour, construct Blood Golems or even, with plenty of time and materials, create a huge battle-suit of mass destruction. His primary and favorite medium for crafting is bone, and as such he bears the Osamatura and Osgladius. He has been known to combine his specialties to summon skeletons and then smash them together into a spiky, lumbering Bone Golem. Of course, bone is not the strongest of building materials but the in-woven magic re-enforces it.

Equipment:
Osamatura: One of his first works as a vampire, but constantly being upgraded, osamatura translates loosely into "bone armour". It comprises of many sliding plates, covering all the way from gauntlets, up his arms, the entire torso, all the way down his legs and finishing with boots. There is no ornamentation, however the lower edge of every plate curves down from both sides to a point, creating a distinctive vampiric look. It is made entirely of bone, making it very light, and the sliding plates enable him to move easily.

The Osamatura has been enhanced over many years to the point that it is near impossible to pierce. Arrows, thrown knives, spears or stabbing swords will either break or simply bounce off. Likewise, slashing attacks such as a sword slash or with claws will likely scar the armor but will not penetrate it. However, with a crushing attack such as a mace, hammer, powerful fists or really strong axe, (or possibly sword) swing will smash the armor wherever it hits and hurt Zaak. A lance hit, or super-strong sword stab, would likely break the armor also, but only if it hit dead on or else it will simply glance off to the side. However, this is where the second ability of the armor comes into play - if someone feeds more energy into it it will repair itself. This does not mean that it will absorb an enemy fireball and fix itself, but if someone, including Zaak, siphons power into it it will bind itself together once more. This can be quite draining however, and should not be used too many times. The Osamatura also provides some magical resistance, but not much.

Osgladius: Loosely translating to "Bone Sword", this is Zaak's main weapon. It is a bastard sword, also known as a hand-and-a-half sword. It can be used with two hands for extra power or only one hand, allowing the other to cast a spell or pick something up. Created from bone, it has been empowered with immense strength; it wouldn't even dent if it were swung with full strength into another weapon - in fact, most metal blades would dent if met Osgladius' edge. As it is made of bone it is very light, and very fast, but still delivers powerful blow.

History:
In a village so small that it wouldn't appear on any maps, when beasts of the darkness and creatures of the night attacked, who did they turn to? The local hero, Zaak the Uncanny. A bold, courageous spell-sword, he cleft werewolves, swamp monsters and hundreds of zombies in his time, protecting the town from the perils of Sylvania. A dashing if slightly zany hero, he had a beautiful wife and a beautiful daughter Cassandra, and the adoration of the town. Everyone knew of his deeds, and rightfully praised him for them. Even Cassandra benefited - everyone loved the sweet girl, daughter of the hero with flowers in her hair.

However, whilst away questing after Necromancer with a horde of ghouls, disaster struck. His wife was slaughtered in her home, two puncture marks in her neck and her blood drained. Upon his victorious return, Zaak found his wife dead, and a message written in her blood upon his wall - "COME FIGHT ME, BEREK THE BLOODY!". Blinded by rage, he ran from the town even whilst the body was being buried, leaving his daughter in the care of the village midwife. He searched the mires surrounding the village, following the trail of slaughtered beasts with drained blood. Eventually he found him in a dark cave, feasting on a large deer. The ensuing battle was bloody indeed, with both sides taking grave injuries. However, at the last, Berek managed to sink his fangs into Zaak's neck. Appreciating a good fight and a fan of poetic irony, he sired the hero that once killed creatures of the night.

Upon returning to the village, fueled by the red thirst, he ran into the midwife's house and drank her dry. Unfortunately, his sweet daughter Cassandra came down and saw him reveling in his feast. The red thirst took over, and he began to walk towards her, blood dripping from his maw. In fear, she backed away, and turned to look over her shoulder. Alas, in doing so she exposed her neck, and her father ran forth and drank her. As she fell unconscious, she let out a soft sigh. That one tiny noise was enough to bring Zaak back to his senses. He knew then that the only way to save her was to sire her, which he did.

Before long, the town found out. Finding the dead midwife and the unconscious daughter, they knew what had happened. The man they had once adored they now hated, and chased him down. Many were butchered, but eventually he was burnt. However, they still respected his actions somewhat, and as such they kept his ashes in the town crypt.

When the daughter awoke, they noticed a distinct change in her. They assumed that the horrible things she had seen her father doing had simply broken her mind, but the truth was far worse. She stayed in during the day and roamed the streets at night, preying upon the town and messing with their pitiful little minds. Eventually, she too was caught. They burnt her also, but it was a windy night and only half of the ashes could be taken. Those that were connected were placed in another urn, in the same crypt.

Many, many years later, a coven arose. Seven necromancers combined their magical powers, and reigned a minor empire of a few tiny villages. They yearned for power, and were corrupt and feeble of mind. In their search for power they thought that they could master a vampire, and bend it to their will. They found an ancient reference to a hero, turned vampire, who's ashes were kept in a crypt. They found two urns, one much larger. They combined their powers, and created a dark ritual to resurrect him. Surely enough, Zaak rose, but he would not bend to the will of mere mortals. His mind sharpened by the resurrection, his face twisted into an insane grin. With a sweep of his hand, all seven necromancers (weakened by their efforts) were slaughtered, but their souls lived on. Seven dark wraiths rose from the seven dead bodies, cloaked in darkness and their own malicious intent. Their power was now unhindered by their mortal bodies, and they pulsed with pure dark power. This was what they had always yearned for. However, where they searched to be the master, they became the servants. Eternally bound to the will of Zaak the Uncanny, they serve him in death.

The very first thing he did with his new, awesome power was attempt to resurrect his daughter also. Calling the power of his coven, he summoned forth her body from her ashes. However, they were not enough. Her body wavered, and then collapsed once more into ashes. He tried again and a gain, and all he ever achieved was to bring her to unlife for a few seconds, see her plaintive face and then lose her again. Finally, he tried a new spell - rather than bringing her back whole, he would create for her a receptacle, laced with magic, that would preserve her consciousness as her strength grew. He created a coffin made of glass, and poured in her ashes. Casting his spells, an ethereal, translucent frame of his daughter swum into view. She smiled weakly, and closed her eyes.

He summoned for her a Black Coach, that she may aid him in her incorporeal state. This became the epicenter of the legions to come. Finding summoning legions to his side greatly enjoyable, he began learning more and more secrets to summoning true legions of the undead. Aided by the Coven, he traveled from cemetery to cemetery, calling forth more and more zombies. Eventually, he was beset by armies, but whenever a foe fell, it rose up once more to join Zaak's side. Ever moving, constantly losing old and gaining new troops, this bloody crusade swept a morbid swathe of destruction.

But it plagued Zaak that he still could not restore his beloved Cassandra to unlife. He yearned to see her whole once more. Finally, in a bid to call her forth he sucked all the magic from every zombie and skeleton in the entire army at once, and funneled it into the coffin. Corpses fell to the ground, and yet more and more dark power swirled into the Black Coach. The timbers themselves blew apart, and the glass coffin was left hovering in mid-air, Cassandra a sleeping beauty waiting for the kiss of life. With all the power of a thousand zombies funneled into the one body, surely she could return to the mortal realm?

No. It was not enough. She took it all, and needed still more. When no more did come, the coffin fell out of the air. Landing solidly on the earth softened by the blood of many, she fell dormant once more. Zaak wept for her sake, crying out to the heavens, where there was no response.

Zaak began pursuing his daughter's resurrection with renewed vigor. He began researching into ways to bring her back. One topic that particularly stood out to him was the crafting of magical artifacts. Perhaps he could create a frame for her to exist in. He continued his research, learning skills from masters long dead. He crafted his own armour and weapon, and many other things besides. But no matter what he tried, he could not bring his daughter to the realm of mortals.

Eventually, he left that topic as useless. There was nothing he could do. He decided to find more of his blighted brethren, other vampires, to see if they could assist him. With his new-found skill, he created a greater, more potent coach for her - a Black Carriage. Riding forth on this new construction with Cassandra and the Coven, spurring on the Hellsteeds he set to pull it into the skies, he journeys to find a way to bring his daughter to himself once more.

Strengths:
- Brilliant Summoner
- Crafting Skills
- Reasonably skilled at both magic and combat
- Osamature and Osgladius

Weaknesses:
- Not a master of magic or combat
- Slightly Insane, unpredictable
- Cares for his daughter immensely
- Inexperienced compared to other vampires.

NOTE: The Black Carriage Cassandra rides in is more powerful than normal Black Coaches. Assume that it has all the abilities that a normal Coach can get by absorbing magic, as well as +1 to all stats.

RE: TVC - Character Bios

Mrs.

Equipment

The Rolling Pin of Doom(AKA Skavenbeater/Skavensmiter) - This is her trusty baking tool which she also uses to smite vermin. This combines to create an aura that paralyzes Skaven with sheer terror and saps their will to fight.

Warpstone meatpies - For some strange reason she always carries a few about her person. There are various different types all with different effects. Some provide regenerative and restorative effects, some are laden with magical power for the person who eats it to use, and others are pure poison to all creatures undead or alive. In essence they are much like wizards' potions though they are different in appearance
(OOC: Basically I didn't want to limit my creativity.)

Evasion - Todd has taught her quite a few tricks for avoiding blows, making her more annoyingly difficult to hit than one might expect initially.

Cons
No combat training - Whilst she has the intrinsic strength and speed of all vampires she is no warrior and cannot stand up to the more warlike vampires in hand to hand.

Obsessive compulsive - Self explanatory. She has several of these, an overwhelming urge to keep hers and Todd's living and work areas clean being one

Pent-up jealousy - Mrs. Lovette's unrequited love for Sweeney Todd can make her a very cranky woman. She does not suffer other women getting too friendly with Todd and will not hesitate to use lethal force to express her displeasure. Ironically her constant failure to get Todd to reciprocate her feelings over the centuries means that she shares some of the bottled-up bitter frustration that drives her sire
