Ok, I will shortly be putting together the new bio thread, make sure your bio's are upto date as I will be copying them out of here!

@Azahul, yes would be affected so I will PM the details.

Crimson, Darkmane, your characters look fine (although we now have enough attractive women for a beauty pageant), please discuss in the OOC thread the best way to intrduce your characters into the TVC.

Dar Archetype, I think your characters will mix in fine with what we have already.
Well to be fair Darkmanes characters are Dark elves so they would have to be good looking.

[/align]Full Name: Sammael
Associated Names: the Prince of Twilight
Age: Unknown
Bloodline: presumably Strigoi
Sire: Unknown
Place of Birth: Unknown

Description: Sammael is tall, grey skinned, and sports two large draconic wings. His head is topped with two curving horns and wreathed in flames. He has clawed feet, a barbed tail, and his hands end in talons.

Equipment: Sammael sports clear crystal armor, and on rare occasions is known to wield the Spear of Cocytus, an ornate spear which is claimed to bear the names of all its victims in writhing runes and subject their souls to eternal torment.

Brief History: None, save the Prince of Twilight himself, knows the exact origins of the being known as Sammael. He said to have been present in the deserts of Nahekhara when Nagash cast the Great Awakening, and subsequently imbibed vampiric blood. Due to these two circumstances he was mysteriously transformed into a being no less than a demigod. His magical prowess is second only to the Great God Tzeentch and the most powerful of his servants. Sammael rarely wields a weapon, and yet fights with a bestial fury which has led many to believe him to be of the Strigoi bloodline. However the most mysterious of Sammael's attributes is his dominion over the Realms of Twilight, as much a place as a repitoire of all the souls of Sammael's victims. His connection, which some believe goes so far as the manifestation of these energies, provides him with tremendous power.

Pro's: He has complete mastery over every major lore, and the lore of vampires. Sammael fights with tremendous strength and has a keen intellect. Lastly, Sammael has access and is the proclaimed manifestation of the energies within the Relams of Twilight. As such he is prescient, is capable of morphing his physical form, has high magical resistance, and is hidden from any magical visions, prescient visions, visions of the past and can not be sensed through any magical means.

Con's: Daeemons and Skaven have an inherent abhorence of Sammael, and even bound daemons will go against their master's will to strike out against him. Both the Greater Chaos Gods Tzeentch and Khorne bear a special interest for Sammael. Khorne wishes to claim Sammael as one of his champions and has expended a great deal of resources and energy in his quest. Tzeentch however, wishes to destroy Sammael, as he is the only being which is beyond Tzeentch and his minions ability to see, in the magical sense. Sammael is one of the few, if not the only, random card in Tzeentch's great game, and therefore a significant threat to the Changer of Ways.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Ahoy Nihilus, great to see another new guy here. You might want to tone your character down though. Being second in power to Tzeentch means that he is more powerful than the entire first generation of Slann put together. In other words, such power levels are quite simply unfeasible for roleplaying purposes. He wouldn't really have a need to fight as he could quite literally instantly obliterate entire civilizations, kill anyone he dislikes and make the sun die out just by twinkling his eyes :P

Otherwise you're good to go. You might want to expand a little on the Realm of Twilight and his personality though. It doesn't have to be very deep, just give some basic stuff.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Nihilus, thanks for your PM'd bio, however your character is far too powerful - a demigod second to magic to Tzeentch is far too overpowered. If you want to be a lesser daemon of some kind that will be fine, or a vampire possessed by a daemon etc is also fine.

In regards to magic new characters cannot be more powerful than Mistress Lesa or V'azrin - this is due to a future plot and also due to the fact that they are possibly too powerful as they are, with the power you are on about either the TVC or Nagash would be crushed with no effort. He also possibly needs some more con's - as well being magically powerful he seems to be a great fighter, immune to magical effects, visions etc.

By the way I'm not putting your idea's down, they are very imaginative and nicely thought out, the power levels just need tweaking.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

It was late and it was a haphazard attempt to recreate a character I have written about. I was also under the impression that my character had to be a vampire. In an effort to stay true to the character Sammael I'll post the history I have for him (my fluff). Although be forewarned it's not a short bio . By the way he is heavily connected to clan cocytus, and yes for those who know most of what follows was posted on the underempire, verbatum (sp?).

Part One: Origin

The origins of Clan Cocytus trace back to the original 12 Skaven bands with emigrated from the Skaven capital of Skavenblight. One of the twelve bands made it way into the desert of Nehekhara. Marauders and the harsh desert climate whittled down the Skaven force. AFter wandering the desert the Skaven settled on the northeastern border of the Southlands upon the edge of the desert. The Skaven's excavation plans were continuously thwarted by the desert whose sandstorms ravaged the Skaven settlement merely allowing them to create scantily protected ditches as a refuge. Starvation further diminished the Skaven population, and in desperation they raided nearby human settlements. However, the fate of this blighted Skaven population was to change. The crazed necromancer Nagash unleashed a devestating wave of dark magic across the lands of Nehekhara. Nagash's foul magic ravaged the Skaven band slaughtering all but a few, those that remained were irrevocably changed. Following Nagash's ritual, a massive sandstorm assaulted the Skaven encampment forcing the surviving Skaven to take refuge in their pits. Nagash's magic had lengthened the the lives of the Skaven immensely and unlocked some innate magical pitential within them. A single Skaven retrieved a hourglass plundered from the human settlements and exited the hastily created pit. As ferocious wind raked his skin, ripping flesh from his body, he focused his magical powers. Spreading his conciousness to encompass the entirety of the storm, he channeled his power and trapped the sandstorm with the hourglass. Emerging from their pits the few remaining Skaven had abandoned their treacherous nature, and accepted the necessity to assist one another, in order to ensure their survival. And so rallying around their new found leader they set about the restablishment of their clan.

Part Two: An Alliance for the Ages

Clan Cocytus would remain undisturbed until the arrival of a contingent of Settra's army. During their time of isolation they began to experiment with elixers brewed from the flora of the Southlands. Combining such draughts with magic they were able to achieve extraordinary results. Settra's forces had arrived during Settra's reconquest of Nehekhara and upon noticing their arrival, the Skaven leader, with a small group of bodyguards, marched out to meet them. The Skaven Lord requested an audience with the almighty Settra. For although they had secluded themselves the Skaven had established a network of spies allowing them to keep track of the happenings of Nehekhara. Agreeing to the Skaven Lord's request they escorted him and his bodyguard to Khemeri. The Skaven Lord met with mighty Settraand expressed his hatred of Nagash and his accursed generals, the Vampires. He then proposed a treaty so that their two forces may annihilate the remaining Vampires. The pompous Settra scoffed at such a proposal and ordered the execution of the pathetic Skaven. However they were not as weak as he had thought, for the Skaven Lord's bodyguard had drunk deeply of the elixers of their clan and now unleashed their transformative effects. They were warped into massive brutes, retaining their great intellect and yet attaining astounding strength, and so they began to lay waste to the warriors who threatened their lord. The Skaven Lord channeled his formidable powers and destroyed the remaining warriors. So impressed was Settra by their combat prowess that he accepted the Skaven Lord's proposal. And so began a formidable alliance.

To cut short the rest of the Clan's fluff (for now), I'll provide a brief summary of what occurs.....

They come in contact with the Lizardmen of the Southlands and form a tentative agreement, following the plundering of one of the Lizarmen's abandoned temple cities. Leaving a second in command to take charge the Skaven Lord traveledto the Lizarmen temple cities to further his studies of the arcane (as he had studied with and the Liche Priests of Nehekhara following the enactment of the treaty with Settra). Returning with some artifacts, including an ornate canon like device within which he had trapped a salamander's flaming breath, the Skaven Lord esablished a sect of skaven who desired to gain control over their innate magical abilities and sent them to study with both the Liche Priests and the Slann of the Southlands.

The Skaven of Clan Cocytus never esablish firm relations with the teeming Skaven masses, and there is great animosity between the two groups. For the Grey Seers have denounced the Skaven of Clan Cocytus as heretics, and truly they had long since given up the worship of the Horned Rat. Neither does the Clan heed the edicts of the Council of 13, and so a great number of Eshin adepts have been dispatched to Nehekhara to bring Clan Cocytus to heel, but none have returned. The great desert of Nehekhara and the fear of Clan Cocytus' exotic and formidable power have stopped the Council from unleasheing an entire army against Clan Cocytus....for the time being. And it is wise that they have not done so for through many experiments with the flora of the Southlands they have created a bewildering array of elixers allowing them to harness extraordinary powers. In addition their collaboration with the Liche Priests of the Mortuary Cult have led to the construction of potent weapons. Their weapons are on par with if not more powerful than those of Clan Skyre.

Short Story:

He scurried through the labyrinthine tunnels, scrambling over rocks slick with blood and grime. The messenger hastened his, wary lest war once again rear its gory head within these tunnels. He stumbled into the impromptu command center of clan Skiat. The stormvermin bodyguards rushed to intercept the intruder, halberds raised for the death stroke. Meeksqueek, the messenger, leapt back in alarm, screeching frantically.

“My lord it is Meeksqueek you humble-lowly servant.”
The stormvermin immediately halted their advance as a burly, black furred skaven, strode into view, his eyes gleaming malevolently.

“What news-word do you bring Meeksqueek?”

His master’s rage was palpable.

“Great-magnificent excellency, clan Morrs refuses to acknowledge-accept your enlightened demands”, Meeksqueek stammered. “They have threatened to bring the full-mighty force of the council to bear unless clan Skiat submits-surrenders”, he squeaked, cowering as he felt his master’s tumultuous rage build.

“Tell-tell clan Morrs that greeat clan Skiat will not-not accede to their outrageous-ridiculous demands”, warlord Morquell spat. He quickly turned and stalked away into his private chambers.
Meeksqueek exhaled, for how long could he skirt his master’s fury? He climbed back down into the tunnels leading to clan Morrs’ territory. Whjat madness had caught his master’s mind to lead them, a minor clan, against the ferocious might of the greater clan Morrs? If warlord Morquell did not relinquish this futile quest, clan Skiat would be slaughtered, their meager wealth and scant breeders ravaged by the greater clan. Meeksqueek scurried through a divergent tunnel and scampered over to a group of clan Morrs warriors on patrol. He mustered his courage and projected confidence into his voice.

“Take-take me to the leader of clan Morrs. I have a message from great-powerful warlord Morquell”, Meeksqueek proclaimed forcefully.

“Soon-soon deceased warlord”, snickered a clanrat warrior. “Come-follow.”

* * *

Warlord Morquell collapsed upon a fur covered chair in his private chambers. Soon clan Morrs would overrun clan Skiat’s battle lines, signaling the defeat of the lesser clan.

“My master grows weary of your incompetence, Morquell.” A figure detached itself from the shadows. Clad in a heavy dark cloak, only its red eyes were visible.

“We-we can not beat-defeat the great clan Morrs, they are too powerful”, sputtered Morquell.

“Your excuses are irritating and irrelevant. He will not tolerate your obvious ineptitude”, the being paused. “My master wishes to express his displeasure with you, personally”, the figure returned to the shadows.

“He-he is here?” Morquell squirted the musk of fear. The creatures eyes gleamed in amusement, before he disappeared from view. A ghostly specter appeared beside the warlord. It shimmered in the faint light of the of the chamber.

* * *

Meeksqueek was led into the chambers of clan Morrs chieftain, Riprack, who led the counterattack against clan Skiat.

“A messenger from clan Skiat, to discuss surrender-defeat terms?”, the chieftain smirked.

“Great-magnificent warlord Morquell relays-sends this message, clan Skiat will not submit to clan Morrs’ demands”, proclaimed Meeksqueek in a dignified manner.

The chieftain’s countenance darkened

“No-no more of this nonsense”, growled Riprack.

In but an instantMeeksqueek lay on the ground, pawing weakly at his throat, choking on his own blood, a blade piercing his throat. Riprack stood beside the dying Meeksqueek.

“Alcar “, he shouted.

The muscular stormvermin bodyguard shuffled into the chamber.

“Yes, great-great masterful one”, the stormvermin grumbled.

“Relay the signal, we march to eradicate-destroy the remnants of clan Skiat”, Riprack hissed.

* * *

“M-master?”, stammered Morquell.

“You disappoint me Morquell. Your obvious lack of tactical expertise is appalling. No matter, there is one function for which you will prove quite capable.” The ghostly being glided forth. Its incorporeal form passing into Morquell’s body.

* * *

Bleckar, chieftain of clan Skiat, stormed into warlord Morquell’s private chambers..

“Great-great masterful warlord, clan Morrs has begun their attack…”, Bleckar gasped in horror. His master’s bloodied body lay convulsing upon the ground, a soundless scream upon his lips, his face contorted in agony. Mass began to materialize, coalescing upon Morquell’s gory form.

Bleckar’s mangled corpse collapsed upon the chamber floor, ripped asunder by heinous magic. Morquell’s body was gone, a black clad figure remained in his place.

* * *

Chieftain Riprack grinned triumphantly. The pathetic warriors of clan Skiat had been routed, the clans meager holdings had been pillaged, their warrens ransacked.

A black clad figure gracefully strode into the chamber. Stormvermin bodyguards hastened to intercept the figure, halberds at the ready. As they neared, they exploded into pillars of withering flames.

Riprack leapt to his feet and reached for his blade. His paw froze, the intruder’s gaze holding him motionless in place. The creature cast off the heavy black cloak masking its form.

His torso and arms were grey skinned. Elegantly curving horns sprouted from his head. His face was masked in shadow, his head wreathed in unearthly flames, his eyes burning embers. Draconic wings arched from his back. A barbed tail curled around his clawed feet.

“I am the dark light, the prince of twilight, Samael. You shall bow to my will.”

I'll get to work on a major revision of my character sign-up form. And feel free to blame Jack of Blades for my long post, he asked for history with depth :P.

Species: Skaven
Clan: Cocytus
Place of Birth: Skavenblight
Description:"His torso and arms were grey skinned. Elegantly curving horns sprouted from his head. His face was masked in shadow, his head wreathed in unearthly flames, his eyes burning embers. Draconic wings arched from his back. A barbed tail curled around his clawed feet."
He is about 2 meters tall.
Equipment: Several elixers, and a heavy black cloak.

Brief History: (see previous post)

Pro's: He possesses a keen intellect, is magically adept sue to his tutelage under the Liche Priests and the Slaan of the Southlands, nand is quite capable in brewing the myriad elixers of his clan.
Due to the ingestion of several elixers his speed, strength and agility is on par with any "average" vampire.

Con's: Sammael honors his pact with Settra, and will therefore assisst in the defense of Nehekhara should it come under threat as well as seek to destroy both Nagash and his followers. In addition he is not well versed in combat, usually relying on his magical prowess, his innate strength, or his elixers to assure him victory.

Personality: Intelligent and composed, he will rarely submit to his emotions and appears apathetic to many. Often he will make use of manipulation rather than brute force.

Asscoiated with:
-The Nehekharans, specifically Settra.
-Clan Cocytus
-The Lizardmen of the Southlands

And a bit more background info.....(once again this was posted on the underempire, these were to be clan cocytus' equivalent of a "normal" skaven army's units)

"Due to the hostlie relations clan [cocytus'] has with the Council of 13 and the other Skaven clans, they obviously do not take contingents of Clan Skyre, Pestilence, and Moulder troops. However they do have equivalents to some of the unit choices which I will explain here.

Grey Seers:
Many perspective Skaven wizards have tutored under the Liche Priests of the Mortuary Cult, those who show aptitude and wish to continue upon the path of the arcane may journey to the temple cities of the Southlands to learn under the majestic Slann. Some gain complete mastery over there powers, these wizard lords are powerful enough to contest the greatest grey seers.

Warlock Engineers:
Although not as adept as the wizard lords, these pupils and apprentices to the Liche Priests are skilled enough to unleash devestating barrages of magical energy.

Rat Ogres:
Through the use of elixers, brewed from the flora of the Southlands with several incantations cast upon such draughts, the Skaven of Clan Cocytus are able to transfigure themselves into various forms. One such elixer transforms the Skaven into massive beasts capable of ripping through entire units, cleaving through sinew, bone and armor with equal ease.

Giant Rats:
A similar elixer transfigures the Skaven into agile, quadrapedal beasts. They quickly close in upon the flanks of the enemy, sending enemy infantry into disarray.

Ratling Gun:
Following the example of their leader, powerful skaven wizards of Clan Cocytus have traveled into vicious sandstorms and trapped them within hourglasses. In collaboration with the Liche Priests, Clan Cocytus has created devices embelished with the incantations of the Liche Priests to tap into the sandstorms trapped with the hourglasses and unleash their fury upon the enemy. Howling winds rip flesh from bone, scattering enemy troops, and burying soldiers under hundreds of pounds of sand. The wizards which tap into these sandstorms must be weary, for only the foolish would toy with the power of the desert without caution. Many are the stories in which an adept's attention strays and the raging desert winds consume those who unleash it.

Warp Fire Thrower:
The first of these devices was created when the Skaven Lord was attacked by a salamander on his voyage back to Clan Cocytus' settlement. With him was an ornate, cylindrical artifact which he had recieved as a gift from the Slann of the Southlands. As the beast unleashed a fiery inferno, the Skaven Lord redirected the conflaguration to this artifact. Rather than be destroyed the device absorbed the salamander' flaming breath, and the Skaven Lord was later able to unleash it from the device at his will. Following this event many of these devices were created. In battle a wizard may unleash the tempest within through incantations.

Warp Lightning Cannon:
Perhaps the greatest product of the union between the Mortuary Cult and the wizards of Clan Cocytus is the Obelisk of Ptra. These gleaming towers focus immense magical energy, and fire shafts of energy from their apex. These beams can rip through entire units destroying all in their path. However the ritual to evoke such power must be done with extreme precision, the incantations must be chanted exactly. For even the slightest discrepancy can prevent the fullest accumulation of power. The misprononcuation of the words of binding have caused the wizards to lose control over the beams of light they unleash, causing them to fire in an unpredictable direction. And woe betide those who utter the incorrect incantation , their fate is better off unsaid. "

By the way, Disciple do you still need another pm?

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Well to be fair Darkmanes characters are Dark elves so they would have to be good looking.

I thought being 'rather mean' was the only prerequisite for being a Dark Elf?

BTW DoN whatever happened to the PM i sent you?doesn't fit the format?or am i not accepted into TVC yet? Speaking of which i realised i didn't flesh out the strengths and weaknesses part so i just did, the most recent copy is on page 12 of this thread...assuming you're even going to put it in in the 1st place.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Extensive History:

There once was a youth possessed of wisdom and character befitting one of countless years. He was focused, disciplined, and engaged in his studies of with a controlled passion. His knowledge of the arcane grew at such a pace that he quickly outclassed his masters. No warrior from the land could best him in combat, for from each he learned from and subsequently defeated. His potential seemed boundless, his future, but alas the irony of the future would not allow such a fate.

For each of the greater chaos gods took intense interest in the youth. Slaanesh was determined to corrupt a being so pure. Nurgle sought to turn one who loved life and brought joy to one who harkened death and despair. Khorne demanded the youth as his foremost champion, to lead the blood god’s armies to victory evermore. Tzeentch connived to take the brilliant youth as his servant, his intellect slaved to further the Great Conspirator’s endless plots.

Of all his brethren Slaanesh was quickest to action. He drew the youth unto his Palace of Pleasure before the others could bring their plans to fruition. However the Dark Prince had underestimated the youth. In an extraordinary display of sheer willpower, the youth emerged from the Circles of Seduction, not once relenting to the heinous temptations arrayed before him.

Next the Plague Lord Nurgle captured the youth and infected him with all manner of diseases. Yet such was the magnitude of the his soul’s strength and his great sensitivity towards life that the youth did not succumb to any of Nurgle’s foul plagues, turning them to the creation of life rather than its destruction. He strode through the Garden of Decay, the voracious temper of the flora tempered by the aura of peace which radiated from the youth.

Subsequently Tzeentch trapped the youth within the Impossible Fortress, content to allow him to traverse its many halls slowly losing his sanity, and finally joining Tzeentch’s legion of servants. The youth’s keen intellect and adaptive mind guided him forth from the capricious fortress and the crystal labyrinthine.

As the youth emerged, once again triumphant, the blood god spirited him away to his red hued domain. Upon Khorne’s vast fields, the youth slaughtered bloodletters, juggernaughts, flesh hounds, and bloodthirsters. The blood god’s lands were strewn with the corpses of his failed champions, and yet not once did the youth fall into blind fury and rage. So great was Khorne’s rage that the youth did not succumb, that he roared a curse which reverberated through the Realms of Chaos. His indignation rent a tear through which the clever youth escaped, to return unto the mortal realm.

Alerted to the youth’s escape, enraged at their failures, and seeking to claim the youth as there own, each of the greater gods tasked a greater daemon to possess the youth. The likes of such daemons have never been seen since. Bloated upon the energies of their masters, they warped space to hasten their pursuit. As he youth exited the Realms of Chaos, the four greater daemons converged upon him, possessing his corporeal form. The daemons each fought for dominance over his being, as the gods sought to assert control over their prize.

The youth stumbled through the World’s Edge Mountains for countless centuries, energized by the daemons’ power he would be denied a natural death. Slowly he bent each of the daemons to his will, their energies coalescing with his soul. Long was the time he spent alone in the mountains, discovering and harnessing his new found abilities. During his self imposed exile, the youth donned the name Cerberus, in the ancient tongue it meant “demon of the pit”.

Of late Cerberus has traveled forth from his mountain abode. Above all other beings he knows the dangers of chaos best, and he refuses to allow the crazed necromancer Nagash to unleash sorcery of a magnitude shattering the boundaries between this world and the next.

Cerberus
Full Name: Cerberus
Associated Names: -NA-
Age: Ancient
Bloodline: -NA-
Sire: -NA-
Place of Birth: Unknown

Description
Cerberus appears to be a young man, in his mid twenties. He has short black hair, is about 6ft tall, has brown eyes and a lightly tanned complexion.

Equipment
None

Brief History
After undergoing many tribulations at the hands of the greater chaos gods, and prevailing, Cerberus was possessed by four greater daemons, one from each of the greater gods. Following his possession he exiled himself to the World’s Edge Mountains. There he bent the daemons to his will, merging them to his being, and harnessing his new found abilities. Many centuries after his possession he has ventured forth from the mountains to ensure that Nagash fails to rise to power once again.

Pro’s
Daemon of Slaanesh-Cerberus has a heightened speed and agility. He also has the uncanny ability to strike his opponents most vulnerable locations.
Daemon of Nurgle-He is immune to both poison and disease.
Daemon of Tzeentch-He has knowledge of the past, and extraordinary prescience.
Daemon of Khorne-Cerberus permeates with a magical null field. This grants him high magical resistance and nullifies the effects of magical weapons/items being used against him.
Master Warrior-Cerberus is a warrior beyond compare, as testified by the slaughter of several bloodthirsters.

Con’s
Self Denial-To prevent the decadence of Slaanesh overpowering his being, Cerberus denies himself most pleasure. When he rarely eats, as he is sustained by the daemons’ energies, it is the blandest of foods.
Skeins of the Future-Frequently when in times of relative calm, Cerberus will appear to “zone out” as he views and contemplates the twists, turns, and conundrums of fate and time.
Null Field-Although Cerberus is a spell cater of astounding skill, many times amplified by his possession by a Changer of Ways, and is privy to magic unknown by any mortal, he is unable to cast spells. So potent is the magical null field he generates, that Cerberus is unable to gather the winds of magic to cast a spell, nor may any other being within close proximity of him, friend or foe. In addition Cerberus is unable to make use of any magical items/artifacts as their energies are siphoned away.
Predations of Chaos-Should the attributes of any of the greater chaos gods be glorified to an extreme extent within a moderate proximity of Cerberus, the relevant greater daemon may gain complete dominance over Cerberus (For example: a massive plague, a great battle of a bloodthirsty nature, gluttonous acts, the casting of a potent spell). Cerberus will eventually reassert control, in most instances.

Associated Names: The Deathly Artist, The Mad Painter
Age: Only about 10 years younger than V'azrin
Bloodline: Necrarch
Sire: V'azrin
Place of Birth: Lahmia

Description
Almost completely like V'azrin, the only difference is his black robes are ripped and shredded, have no sleeves and are definitely ancient themselves, he also doesn't seem to carry around as many magical artifacts and he has a dagger sheathed hanging from his belt.

Equipment
A Paint Brush, scrolls and arcane inks for drawing out arcane glyphs if required.
V'azrins curse-A dagger which when it slays a living mortal doesn't allow their spirit to "pass on".

Brief History
A friend of V'azrin whilst mortal he was the first Necrarch of the third generation and sired by the strongest get of W'soran of the time. He is on par with the weakest of the second generation in pure magical strength but his studying is slightly less than the total obsession most Necrarchs have.
His own obsession is painting which he does with both amazing and terrifying skill, many who look up on his art go mad mortal and immortal alike. It is said in the millenia he has lived his art has only got more disturbing.
He can be found to be more "human" than V'azrin at times showing a strange amount of care for others.

Pro's
Very powerful wizard-His powers of magic are quite impressive even if he doesn't care for study as much as many other Necrarchs.
Ancient-His age and experience grant him much power and knowledge
Sanity-Whilst not as far gone as V'azrin his mind does tend to lose focus.
Appearance-Like all Necrarchs his mere appearance is enough to strike fear into the heart of mortals and even some immortals.

Con's
Physically Weak-A far worst fighter than even V'azrin himself, Reshorn attempts to hide from combat at all costs.
Forced Loyalty-Even if Reshorn wished to break free from V'azrins control it would be impossible due to the influence the sires blood has over Reshorn but also a arcane oath that he was forced to take.
Uncaring-At times Reshorn finds it hard to care wether he lives or dies and thus doesn't try as hard as he should.
Obsession-Reshorn finds himself being distracted at times by works of art or ideas for his own art work.

Cerberus
Full Name: Cerberus
Associated Names: -NA-

Place of Birth: Unknown

Description
Cerberus appears to be a young man, in his mid twenties. He has short black hair, is about 6ft tall, has brown eyes and a lightly tanned complexion.

Equipment
A sword and light armor.

Daemon of Nurgle-He has a high resistance to disease, and regenerative properties.

Since you guys seem to approve of my porting over a character from a PC RPG, here we go. I based this off the videogame, as though I would like to read the novels I have never had the chance

Geralt of Rivia

Full Name: Geralt
Associated Names: The White Wolf(not to be confused with the Knightly Order of the same name), The Gray Wolf
Age: 100+
Bloodline: -NA-
Sire: -NA-

Description
He has the physical profile of a soldier in his late twenties. He has an oddly pale complexion, grey-white hair, eyes the color of flint, and a long scar running down one side of his face.

Equipment
Witcher armor, an exotic form of composite armor intended to provide as much protection as possible while not limiting the wearer's mobility. The armor does not protect the lower arms, legs and head, however. His personal set has magical dampening capabilities

Moonfang, a magical sword of Elf origin made entirely out of silver. It is finely balanced, unnaturally keen, and burns with the power of the goddess Lileath. This power grows especially strong at night and moonlight causes the sword itself to emanate pale eldritch flames. Those it strikes are smote by its divine power, which amongst other things stop the remarkable regenerative capabilities of Trolls and other such monsters. It is particularly effective at slaying the undead and those bearing the touch of Chaos(like Beastmen, Daemons, and Skaven), but loses much of its killing power against ordinary mortals.

The Mahamakan Rune Sihill is a powerful runeblade made by the Dwarves and a relic of the early days of the Empire. It carves through flesh and armor like a hot knife through butter and is brutally effective at slaying ordinary flesh and blood creatures. Against those of supernatural origin or powers however, it loses its effectiveness.

Geralt also carries various witcher potions about himself. These are used to enhance his capabilities, but only a few can be consumed in a short span of time or he will die of poisoning, due to their high toxicity. They have also never been tested on anyone else other than the witchers, so are not guranteed to work with them.

History
The order of Witchers were created by a splinter faction of Imperial Witch Hunters, who saw the clear superiority in individual combat prowess of the Warriors of Chaos as compared to their Old World counterparts, and wished to turn that kind of strength for the cause of good. In collusion with renegade Elf sages and alchemists, the radicals eventually suceeded in creating a new breed of warrior, though the process was not without inadvertently creating dangerous monstrosities as well.

These warriors are possessed of unusually long life spans, more than double that of a normal man(though they are still not as long lived as an Elf or Dwarf), have combat prowess well beyond that of even the most experienced Greatswords, are given specialist training in hunting down and slaying monsters, and even possess limited spellcraft. They are called 'witchers' or 'hexers' to differentiate between the ordinary Witch Hunters sent by the various churches of the Empire, and these unusual sellswords. The witchers roam the lands, ridding the countryside of monsters in exchange for payment, although folk whisper behind their back that the witchers themselves are not quite human. To become one is no mean feat, as not only do the witchers only accept those with few worldly ties, the induction trials(which involves quantities of wyrdroot, warpstone and various reagents) kills off all but the toughest and most compatible.

Geralt of Rivia is perhaps the most famous of the witchers. He started off as an ordinary child in Ostland, but survived the harrowing initiation of the witchers to join their ranks. Honing his trade on killing the abominations that his own order created during their experiments, he wound up carving a reputation for himself and his order over the years, and is known throughout several states of the Empire. While witchers can be considered to be tainted by Chaos, and those who helped create them to be dangerous heretics, the Churches, as well as the higher government and the Knightly Orders turn a blind eye to their existence and deeds. This is due in no small part to Geralt's contributions. Considering some of his equipment it is likely he even has the tacit goodwill of the High Elves.

Pros
Slayer - Witchers are specialists at slaying monsters like Trolls, Wyverns, Ogres and even lesser Vampires. Typical threats can be taken down by a group of novice witchers working in unison, or a single master witcher like Geralt. The White Wolf is a veteran of his profession, and has survived numerous attempts by his erstwhile employers to kill him(and hence not need to pay), so his experience also extends to dealing with and killing mortals.

Battle Mage - All Witchers use 'Signs', a form of safe, fairly low-powered magic that are very quick to use. Because each spell will only take a few moments at most they are very difficult to dispel(surprise factor). Geralt uses this to complement his blades and can use his Signs even between individual blows.

Sixth Sense - Geralt seems to have developed a finely tuned sixth sense which makes him extremely hard to blindside. He can parry surprise attacks from behind simply because 'I had a bad feeling about this'.

Field Alchemist - Geralt is practiced at creating his potions without needing any alchemical equipment. Just a fireplace would do(which conveniently provides him somewhere warm to rest as well).

Witcher potions - An assortment of potions that are mostly highly toxic, but are used to boost his fighting capabilities in various ways. They can temporarily grant, amongst other things, superhuman reflexes, the keen senses of a Vampire, and the resilience and magic resistance of a Stone Troll. A wise witcher will brew and drink the right mix of potions before combat, allowing him to defeat foes previously beyond his ken.

Cons
Young One(relatively speaking) - Geralt is nowhere near as old and experienced as the elder vampires, and cannot match their speed, strength, skill, magic abilities, etc without using his potions.

Ladies' Man - Geralt has said tendencies. He is also reckless when it comes to bedding the ladies, because all witchers are infertile.

Tainted - The assertion of commoners that witchers are 'unwholesome', 'tainted' etc are in fact true. Witchers are actually mutants created through a crude form of genetic engineering and tampering with the forces of raw magic.

Not A General - Geralt has neither the experience nor the knowledge in leading an army. He is used to working either alone or with a band of capable allies.

name: Christophe von Carstein
sire: Mannfred von Carstein
age: 393 years in death

History
Christophe's life before siring into Vampirisim like many others has passed into myth and legend. But what is known is his life of undeath. sired in the Imperial Year 2130 by Count Mannfred von Carstein of Slyvania.
Christophe was from an ancient noble family from the north. He was trained in the art of necromancy by Mannfred which proved interesting to say the least due to the taint of chaos that flowed through his vains from generations past as his family was rumoured to have worshipped Khorne the Blood God.
After Mannfreds death at the Battle for Hel Fenn rather than fleeing back to Slyvania where he felt he would be hunted down he fled east to the land of Naggorath by capturing a ship and forming his Zombie crew that was to take him there. he sailed to Karond Kar as that is where Morathi and her sorceresses practice their foul spells. After much need of persuading the Dark Elves to aid him in mastering the winds of magic they helped him learn so that when the time was right Christophe would return to Slyvania and succed where so many others had failed. However there was one thing in the lands of Naggorath that Christophe believed he would never feel again and that was a love. To a Dark Elf Sorceress more beautiful than Neferata. Christophe had heard of how Vlad had fallen in Love with Isabella but he always believed it to be myth and that it was more likely lust then love but he never believed it until he felt it for himself. This Sorceress was powerful and had a lust for blood that only a vampire could match. So he sired her into Vampirism she would have died had it not been for there ties to the Winds of Magic and The Chaos Gods. Around 2520 During the great Storm of Chaos rumour grew of an vampire lord who claimed to be Von Carstein and claim himself Count of Slyvania. It was now that Christophe felt it was time to return to Slyvania and claim what he believed what was now rightfully his. So he and Leonora the Dark Elf Sorceress boarded a Corsair raiding fleet who dont take kindly to stowaways not to mention Vampire stowaways so Christophe and Leonora where forced to kill the fleet and make them there zombie crew. When they landed on the coast of Bretonnia they were most suprised by the Black Coach bearing the Von Carstein crest that awaited them to take them in safety to Slyvania. This worried Christophe as he realised that this new count must be very powerful to know they were coming. There arrival at Drakenhof certainly didnt go un-noticed as they had to fight there way through a zombie horde led by gets of this new count. They made the night seem like the middle of the day due to the light being created from there necromantic spells. After much of the night fighting Christophe and Leonora made there way into the Throne Room in Drakenhof Castle only for the fighting to stop when a bellowing voice commanded that his gets cease their attack upon Christophe and Leonora. Out of the Shadows stepped a tall figure. Christophe believed that some spell had been cast upon him as he was looking upon someone who he believed perished many centuries ago at Hel Fenn. Christophe bent his knee to the Count knowing that even with Leonora's help there was no certainty they could defeat him, he was staring at the count how emerged from the shadows. He was staring at Mannfred.

Although always out to further his own goals he remains loyal to Mannfred and has every intend at being at Mannfreds side when he crowns him self Emperor over the living. However Christophe is concerned over the possible return of Nagash and a world of the dead with no mortal cattle to pray upon

Leonora is a Dark Elf Sorceress in origin and was sired into vampirism in 2357 (Imperial Year) has a vast knowledge of Chaos and Dark Elf Magic and is Christophe's Vampire Love. Her undying loyalty to Christophe means she will support him until eternal death no matter what his decisions and would never betray him or those loyal to him or who he is loyal to.

Dragos The Black
Full Name: Dragos Von Schatten
Age: 1085
Associated Names: The Vermillion Rider

Wargear: Wraithtear, heavily ornamented plate mail

Description:
Height: 6'4
Build: Slender but muscular
Eyes: Red
Hair: Long and white

His is the visage of a bloody and brutal death. He stands, shod in the blackest of armor, drinking in the silver luster of the moon and reflecting naught but a foreboding resonance of bitter hatred. The trim of his hauberk, while once may have been luminous and alive with the argent, iridescent smile of mithril, now grins maliciously, encrusted with rust and old blood. Crooked beneath a plated left arm rests his helm, the sinister countenance of an ebony wrought skull, fibred with steepled, skeletal finger bones hewn of the darkest iron, seethes with a lust to taste the ebbing pulses of countless, chilling corpses. His face, a stark contrast to his maleficent armor, is wreathed in long, sallow, spindly locks that hang lifelessly from his pallid scalp. His sharp, gaunt features seem eternally contorted in the hatred he so willingly shares with his victims and his burning, red eyes gleam with a life as cursed as those unfortunate enough to see them.

History:

Once an avid pupil of The Red Duke, Dragos lived the hard life of a soldier, pushing, in the name of honor, from battle to battle, holding tight the reigns of his hunger to maintain his claim at glory. In life, he was Bretonnian nobility, a Questing Knight in search of his fortune. He rode with the Duke of Aquitaine during the crusades that turned the lord into a vampire and swore his fealty to the creature when he turned. Believed slain with his lord at Aquitaine, Dragos slept for centuries. When the Red Duke returned, however, Dragos rode at his right hand.

The second defeat of his lord both enraged and destroyed Dragos. He broke his oaths of allegiance, believing his master to be a fraud and a weakling. Upon escaping that final battle, Dragos swore to serve only himself and the pursuit of strength and power. He threw himself into the study of the Blood Dragon line and that of their founder, Abhorash. Valuing martial prowess above all things, he came to venerate Abhorash as a messiah of blood and war, the pinnacle of vampiric accomplishment. He began to train, obsessively, for the day when he might rival the legend of the first Blood Dragon, retreating into seclusion deep within the Hunger Wood of Sylvania. There, he built himself a lair beneath the twisted trees, a labyrinth, riddled with pitfalls, traps, and all manner of summoned beasts and daemons upon which he could practice his skill in battle. When Vlad Von Carstein made war with the Empire, Dragos joined him. When Konrad raged across Sylvania, so too did Dragos ride, and when Mannfred failed, Dragos endured. He is a warrior without peer and a necromancer of no limited skill. He keeps his lair peopled with any number of vicious daemons and barbarous beasts, summoned forth or captured by his servants. His reputation has been earned in centuries of warfare, where his bloodlust dances unbridled with his fathomless rage and few are the battles where his pale flesh and dark armor are not bathed in the hot blood of his enemies.

The Labyrinth Sanguinary:

Set below the gnarled trees of the Hunger Wood, the Labyrinth Sanguinary covers an unknown span of subterranean acreage, though some say there is an exit buried somewhere within the ruins of Dread Mordheim and another somewhere in the Vale of Darkness. Those that find themselves within generally belong to one of two demographics, servants and training meat, the latter ranging from scores of bloodletters to huddled hordes of frightened villagers, with little more than sticks and rocks to use as makeshift weaponry. The labyrinth itself is rife with explosives, pitfalls, pendulum traps, hidden crossbows, acid flasks, spinning blades, and a menagerie of other, stranger death traps; and while the original maze was planned and constructed by Dragos and his slaves, the myriad enchantments and hexes on the passageways have left it an ever changing, blood drenched complex of insanity and peril.

Quirks:

When not training or in battle, which tends to be very rarely, Dragos lets his anger abate to enjoy his immortality. He has been known to be well versed in the history of the world and enjoys reading of places he has not had the chance to travel. He has a particular affinity for young, red haired women and will not harm them, for some unknown reason.

Pros:

Warrior of Ages - Dragos knows how to kill and how to survive the tumultuous maelstrom of combat. He trains incessantly and to him, every battle is a training exercise as he awaits the day when he will fight his own dragon, wrestle it to the ground, and drain it dry. He spits at those still loyal to the Red Duke and chuckles at the self important Blood Dragons, confident in his own abilities. Abhorash forged his own way and so will Dragos.

Wraithtear - Wraithtear was the greatsword of a Slaaneshi Champion under the banner of Vardek Crom that Dragos bested in single combat during the recent Chaos incursion into Sylvania. After the battle's conclusion, both body and blade were pulled into the chambers of Dragos' necromancers, where they used the soul of the north man to bind the daemon weapon to the vampire's will. Wraithtear is a bastard sword that, when used by Dragos, makes him a faster and more deadly opponent. The blade will supplement the already deadly warrior's skill with its own foul magic, seeking the most painful places to inflict injury, that it might sing with the pleasure of its victim's agony.

Cons:

Rage: Centuries of defeat and straining under the yoke of the incompetent have made Dragos is dangerously easy to anger. He views most with an arrogant disdain and revels in his power. Anything that would dare threaten that power is received with brutal hostility. He will not foolishly jump into combat against an impossible opponent, but once one has made an enemy of Dragos the Black, he is an enemy unto death.

Lady in Red: There is a popular ghost story in Bretonia regarding a young Lord of the Manor on his wedding day. He ruled over a small hamlet on the coast. Legend has it that his mentor, an accomplished Bretonian Knight, gave the Lord his daughter's hand in marriage, only to betray they both for his hidden masters, the Ruinous Powers, killing the Lord after selling his own daughter to the Druuchi flesh market. It is said that the Lord returned from the grave and enacted a terrible vengeance on his former mentor. No one knows the truth of any of it, but the tale coincides, loosely, with the time when young Lord Dragos Von Schatten left to crusade alongside the Duke of Aquitaine. The knight's daughter was said to have fiery red hair and to this day, Dragos the Black will not so much as scratch a red haired woman.

Mediocre Necromancer - Dragos has studied the gift of Vampirism for centuries, honing his knowledge as well as his fighting skill, though his necromantic wisdom is dwarfed by his martial prowess and easily outmatched by more reclusive and studious vampires, which is something he seeks to remedy. (The focus has always been more on combat than spell casting, though he does study Necromancy when allowing himself respite from his training.)

This Post is so Disciple of Nagash can finialise my characters .

Full Name: Christophé von Carstein
Associated Names:
Age: Over 390 Years
Bloodline: Von Carstein
Sire: Mannfred von Carstein
Place of Birth: Praag

Description: Christophé was at a mortal age of 30 when sired into vampirism by Mannfred von Carstein. So Christophe still has many features of a young man, (Picture Richard Roxburgh who plays Dracula in Van Helsing) Cunning, Short Temper, can only be calmed down by Leonora, 6ft tall, Excellent Swordman, Necromancer and Tactician.

Equipment: Christophe carries a magic Black Skull Staff that was forged for him by the Sorceresses of Naggorath, it has the magic ability that starts to take over his enemies thoughts driving them slowly insane before they finally burn into little more than a pile of black ash with a Blackened Skull remaining. His magical sword Chillblade is also of Dark Elf origin however has a very different power to that of his staff as it Freezes and paralyzes his enemies so that he may deliver the final killing blow. When he rides into battle atop his barded warhorse he wears black and red armour tainted in the powers of Khorne God of Chaos as his family is infamous for their Chaos Worshipping ways. However he always carries a shield as protection as a vampire can never tell when an enemy might strike.

Brief History: He was originally a Minor Noble from Praag in Kislev. His family is infamous for worshipping the Chaos god of war Khorne and bears a small tattoo of the mark on the back of his neck making him have to cover it every time he wishes to venture into the heart of the Empire. When Mannfred was slain he feld to Naggorath as he felt Slyvania would not be safe enough for long. There he fell in love with Leonora a Dark Elf Sorceress with beauty to rival Neferata and a blood lust to rival Konrad. When rumours grew of a vampire claiming himself Count of Slyvania. Christophe and Leonra returned to Slyvania to claim what he believed should now be rightfully his. However upon Christophes return to Drakenhof Castle when he came face to face with this new Count it was no new count at all. Christophe bowed down before the count swearing his allegiance. Swearing is allegiance to Mannfred.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Would anybody that worships Khorne is Kislev be put to death? If they were so know for worshipping Khorne then why were they not slain by the Witch Hunters? Kislev is even more intolerant than the empire in that regard.

Also it is Canon that Morathi is the most beautiful Dark Elf and possibly the most beautiful women in the world. It's all right by saying that she is very beautiful but I would draw the line at becoming the most beautiful, I know it seems like a small thing but that is the way it is.

RE: TVC - Sign-Up Thread

Yes, especially as Mistress Lesa is officially the most beautiful woman, that title aint going anywhere! However she could quite easily be just a very beautiful elf.
