Undead model compatibility?

Hello

I am wondering what is the kit compatability between TK Horsemen and Vampire Count Skeleton warriors?

I want to add some TK Horsemen to my VC models and play an undead legion with aesthetics that fit. Ideally i am thinking TK Horse and rider legs with VC skeletons Body, Head, Spears and arms

Can anyone help

The TK horsemen riders are one piece (body and legs). You can easily cut them at the waist and glue/pin a VC Skeleton torso there. The TK models are a bit larger than the newer VC ones, but that doesn't prevent them to be compatible like that. If you want to keep the rider naked, you can just straight up glue VC arms to the TK body too.

The costs would be much higher but if you had the coin using the newer tomb guard infantry would look really impressive. The proportions are the same as the knights and the ornate detailing is very characterful. I guess what really made me want to suggest this was the base horses aren't actually barded because they double for hex wraiths. The idea of all that brilliant turquoise cloth and the decorative uppers of the TGs would be striking.

I was thinking to buy the TK horsemen, eight in a box, to mount my extra black knight bits, five in a box. (Went for hexies) 'John' at GW said the horse heads are big.

If the bits don't fit, I can sub the 8 as knights but, has anyone tried this?

I'm buying 10 more GG for sure and something else for my army (not decided) but if TK horsemen fit, I'll try a BK bus and maybe mount the spare VL from my TG/ZD on one of the horses.

Regarding VL i think he is little too big for the skellie horse, though he fits just fine on a chaos steed

I'll try to post pictures of my counts-as Black Knights in a bit, however I can tell you now that I've converted them with warsphinx / necropolis riders converted to ride naked TK skeletal horses. Looks fucking ace. I picked up the riders on bits order, and while some of the legs required some finangling others just required snipping off their scale-mail loin clothes.

Looking forward to it. My group tends to know what I buy so surprising with a BK bus will be an advantage and not having the 'generic' models will be more my style.
